 Az eset éjjel történt, amikor a 101-es mentőszolgálathoz bejelentés érkezett a Dnyipro járásbeli Petrikivszka település kistérségéhez tartozó Jelizavetivka községben, a Szobornij utcában keletkezett tűzről.
 A tűz elborította a gazdasági épületek faszerkezetét és azokat a helyiségeket, ahol az állatokat tartották, 700 m² területen, de a mentőknek sikerült lokalizálni és eloltani a tüzet.
 A tűz oltásában 21 mentő és 4 tűzoltóegység vett részt.
