A napokban bejelentés érkezett a tűzoltósághoz, miszerint Nagybégányban tűz ütött ki egy ház melléképületében.
A tyúkól közel helyezkedett el a lakóépülethez, félő volt, hogy a lángok átterjednek a házra is. A helyszínre a nagydobronyi és beregszászi tűzoltók érkeztek ki. 30 tyúkot mentettek ki a melléképületből, majd viszonylag rövid időn belül megfékezték a lángokat.
A tűz kitörésének okát és az általa okozott kár értékét még vizsgálják.

A Nagybégányi kistérség határőrszolgálatának információi szerint a kistérség területén medvét fedeztek fel. A Beregszászi Járási Katonai Adminisztráció arra kéri a lakosságot, hogy kerüljék az erdős területeket.
Amennyiben mégis erdei sétára mennének, tegyék meg a következő lépéseket:
- vigyenek magukkal csengőt, vagy csapjanak enyhe zajt, „értesítve” a medvét a jelenlétükről
- gombázás közben többször szólítsák meg egymást társaikkal, kopogjanak a fákon botokkal, flakonokkal
- semmiképp ne vigyenek magukkal fegyvert.
Ha találkoznak a medvével:
- nem érdemes futni vagy fára mászni, hiszen a medve sokkal gyorsabban mozog az embernél.
- ne feküdjenek a földre és ne tettessék magukat halottnak, ez nagyon veszélyes.
- nézzenek az állatra, majd lassan és nyugodtan váltsanak irányt.
- ha az állat követi önöket, hagyják hátra dolgaikat (sapkát, ruházatot, táskát, stb.), ez eltereli a medve figyelmét.
