Hongkong, 2020. július 1. Az új nemzetbiztonsági törvény ellen tüntetõk útakadályokat gyújtanak fel Hongkongban 2020. július 1-jén, a városállam Kínához való visszacsatolásának 23. évfordulóján. Első alkalommal vettek őrizetbe Hongkongban aktivistákat az új nemzetbiztonsági törvény alapján – közölte a helyi sajtó szerdán.
A négy fiatalt – három férfit és egy nőt – elszakadásra felbujtás vádjával vették őrizetbe. Úgy tudni, 16 és 21 év közötti diákokról van szó.
A rendőrség szerint a csoport a közösségi médiában tett ilyen tartalmú kijelentéseket a nemzetbiztonsági törvény hatálybalépése óta.
Azt mondják, egy Hongkongi Köztársaságot akarnak létrehozni, és fenntartások nélkül készek harcolni ezért” – közölte Li Kvai-vah az új jogszabály alkalmazásának kikényszerítésével megbízott egység vezetője. „Azt is mondták, hogy ebből a célból egyesíteni akarják a függetlenségért küzdő csoportokat Hongkongban” – fűzte hozzá.
A csoport saját közlése szerint még a törvény hatályba lépését megelőzően feloszlott, mindössze az interneten tartotta meg jelenlétét.
Egyikük a dpa német hírügynökség értesülése szerint Tony Csung volt diákvezető. A 19 éves fiatalt otthonában fogták el kínai rendőrök.
Egy televíziós műsorban egykori társai arról számoltak be, hogy a rendőrök kosárszámra hordtak ki az anyagokat Csung lakásából.
Hongkong 1997-ben került vissza a brit korona fennhatósága alól Kína uralma alá. Az átadási egyezményben 50 évre garantálták a városállam számára, hogy Kína különleges közigazgatási területeként széles körű autonómiát élvezhet, lényegében csak honvédelmi és külpolitikai kérdésekben függene Pekingtől.
Egyes megfigyelők szerint ezt a garanciát rúgja föl a június 30-án elfogadott kínai nemzetbiztonsági törvény, amely többek között tiltja Hongkongban a „szakadár tevékenységet” és a „felforgatást”, és lehetővé teszi a gyanúsítottak kiadatását Kínának. A jogszabály emellett azt is engedélyezi, hogy kínai biztonsági erők járjanak el a volt brit koronagyarmat területén. A törvényt élénken bíráló külföldi kormányok és nemzetközi szervezetek attól tartanak, hogy a jogszabály nagyon komolyan csorbítja Hongkong autonómiáját, és a valódi célja a hongkongi demokráciapárti mozgalom elfojtása.

Megtörtént az első letartóztatás szerdán Hongkongban az újonnan bevezetett nemzetbiztonsági törvény alapján, amelyet sokan amiatt bírálnak, hogy tovább gyengítheti a különleges státusú város autonómiáját – írja az MTI.
A hongkongi rendőrség a Twitteren közölte, hogy letartóztattak egy férfit Hongkong függetlenséget hirdető zászló lengetése miatt, mert ezzel megszegte az új nemzetbiztonsági törvény előírásait.
A South China Morning Post (SCMP) című hongkongi lap pedig internetes oldalán arról számolt be, hogy a hongkongi rendőrök lila transzparenssel hívták fel a város egyik bevásárlóközpontja előtt gyülekező tüntetőket, hogy a nemzetbiztonsági törvény értelmében a szakadár vagy felforgató célzatú zászlók és feliratok feltartása, illetve ilyen tartalmú jelszavak skandálása jogsértésnek minősül, az ilyen tevékenységben résztvevőket őrizetbe vehetik, és eljárást indíthatnak ellenük. A kora délutánra összegyűlt néhány száz ember között azonban így is akadtak, akik a tavaly júniusban kezdődött kormányellenes tüntetéshullám jelszavait kiabálták, illetve a Kínai Kommunista Pártot gyalázó posztereket tartottak fel. A rendőrség vízágyút vetett be a tömeg feloszlatására. Nem sokkal később közölték, hogy őrizetbe vettek 30 embert a gyülekezési törvény megsértése, intézkedés akadályozása, fegyverbirtoklás és az új törvény megsértése miatt.
Hongkongban 2003 óta minden évben felvonulást rendeznek július 1-jén, annak az évfordulóján, hogy a város 1997-ben visszatért Kínához a brit gyarmati uralom alól. Az idén a felvonulásra a rendőrség a koronavírus-járványra hivatkozva nem adott engedélyt. A felvonulást 17 évvel ezelőtt éppen az hívta életre, hogy a város saját alkotmányaként funkcionáló alaptörvény 23. bekezdése előírja Hongkong számára a saját nemzetbiztonsági törvény felállítását.
Carrie Lam hongkongi kormányzó egy szerdai sajtótájékoztatón éppen a saját nemzetbiztonsági törvény felállításának sikertelenségét jelölte meg a hongkongi kormányzat egyik legfőbb kudarcaként, egy sor más elhibázott lépés mellett, amely végül a tavalyi tüntetéshullámot hívhatta elő. A kormányzó szerint a kialakult válsághelyzet helyi szélsőségesek felemelkedéséhez vezetett.
Tajvan eközben, csupán egy nappal a nemzetbiztonsági törvény elfogadása után hivatalt állított fel, amelynek feladata, hogy humanitárius segítséget nyújtson hongkongiak számára. A Taiwan News tajvani híroldal cikke szerint az iroda szolgáltatásokkal segíti mindazokat a hongkongiakat, akik Tajvanon kívánnak tanulni, üzleti tevékenységet folytatni, befektetni, vagy menedéket kérni. Caj Jing-ven tajvani elnök még kedden úgy vélekedett: a nemzetbiztonsági törvény elfogadása bizonyítja, hogy „az egy ország, két rendszer”, amelynek mentén Peking Tajvannal való viszonyát is kívánja igazgatni, nem működhet.
