A jelentés szerint a harkivi polgármester magánszemélyként fellebbez a rá kiszabott bírság ellen. A per lényegét a szóvivő nem ismeri. Ihor Tyerehovot 3400 hrivnya pénzbírsággal sújtották, mert nem az államnyelvet használta az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús adásának adott interjújában. Tarasz Kreminy ezért döntött a városvezető megbüntetéséről.
Ihor Tyerehov ugyancsak figyelmeztetést kapott az államnyelvvédelmi ombudsmantól, hogy a törvény szerint a polgármester hivatalos közösségi oldalainak ukrán nyelvűeknek kell lenniük. Tarasz Kreminy megerősítette, hogy Ihor Tyerehov pert indított. Elmondása szerint a per a második bírság kiszabásáról szóló döntésre vonatkozik. „Azzal kapcsolatos, hogy a nem államnyelv használatának tényállása folytatódott, megvizsgáltuk az ügyet, felajánlottuk, hogy magyarázatot adunk, de jelenjen meg személyesen vagy képviselővel, ügyvéddel megvitatni az ügyet. Semmilyen válasz nem érkezett. Ezért bírság kiszabásáról döntöttünk” – hangsúlyozta Tarasz Kreminy.

Míg tavaly júliusban a kormány székháza előtt demonstráltak a résztvevők az akkor sürgősségi rendelettel hatályba léptetett új közigazgatási kódex ellen, most az elnöki hivatal közelében gyülekeztek. A Nemzet Útja nevű egyesület felhívására, amelyet a Kovászna, Hargita és Maros megyei Románok Civil Fóruma és más egyesületek is terjesztettek közösségi oldalaikon, több mint száz tüntető érkezett vasárnap személyautókkal és kisbuszokkal Bukarestbe, hogy román nemzeti lobogókat lengetve, az elnöki hivatal hátsó bejáratával szemben lévő, az utász hősök – egy oroszlánt mintázó – emlékműve elé vonuljanak, amelyet román nemzeti színű óriáslobogóval kerítettek el és körülálltak.
A tüntetők A nemzetállamot a románok vérével írták az alkotmányba, és A román nyelv Románia egyedüli hivatalos nyelve feliratú táblákat emeltek a magasba. A szónok a Romániai Magyar Demokrata Szövetség (RMDSZ) kezdeményezésére módosított oktatási törvény ellen is tiltakozott, amely szerinte tannyelvtől függetlenül most már minden romániai egyetemet arra kötelez, hogy tegye lehetővé a magyar nyelvű felvételit és záróvizsgát. A tüntetők petícióban követelték az államfőtől, hogy ne hirdesse ki a kifogásolt jogszabályokat, és vezetőjük bíztatására percekig, A román nyelv az egyedüli úr- jelmondatot skandálták.
Úgy véljük, hogy ezek a törvények megnyitják az utat az RMDSZ számára Románia nemzetállami meghatározásának eltörlése felé, a közigazgatási kódex pedig tágranyitja a kaput az etnikai alapú területi autonómia előtt, amely súlyosan veszélyezteti Románia területi épségét – hangoztatta Mihai Tirnaveanu a tüntetést meghirdető felhívásában.
A megmozdulás időzítése azzal áll összefüggésben, hogy a román alkotmánybíróság február közepén alkotmányosnak találta azt a sürgősségi kormányrendeletet, amellyel tavaly nyáron hatályba léptette az új közigazgatási kódexet az akkori szociáldemokrata kormány. A székelyföldi román egyesületek eredetileg múlt vasárnapra hirdették meg újabb bukaresti tüntetésüket, de a térfoglalást a főváros alpolgármestere akkor nem hagyta jóvá, arra hivatkozva, hogy a demonstráció zavarná az elnöki hivatal működését. A szervező szerint a március elsejei demonstrációt a főpolgármesteri hivatal engedélyével szervezték meg.
Korábban a Romániai Magyar Demokrata Szövetség (RMDSZ) is bírálta a közigazgatási törvénykönyv kormányrendelettel elfogadott változatát arra hivatkozva, hogy csorbítja a kisebbségi jogokat, és visszalépést jelent a korábban hatályos anyanyelvhasználati rendelkezésekhez képest.
