Az orosz hadsereg rendszeresen támadja meg az ukrán régiókat különféle típusú fegyverekkel – drónokkal, rakétákkal.
„A 2024. augusztus 1-i adatok szerint 1489 gyermek sérült meg Ukrajnában, 1937 gyermeket eltűntnek tekintenek, és 30 604 gyermeket találtak meg” – jegyezte meg a Nemzeti Rendőrség.
Ugyanakkor a legfrissebb adatok szerint a fiatalkorúak ügyészeinek hivatalos tájékoztatására hivatkozva az orosz agresszió következtében 564 gyermek halt meg, 1489-en szenvedtek különböző súlyosságú sérüléseket.

Csehországban eddig kilenc embert ítéltek el az ukrajnai orosz invázió nyílt támogatásáért, 58 ügyben folyik büntetőeljárás, további 90 eset a vádemelés szakaszában van – közölte a cseh legfelsőbb ügyészség szerdán a Twitteren.
Igor Stríz legfőbb ügyész már tavaly februárban felhívta a figyelmet arra, hogy az Ukrajna elleni orosz agresszió, valamint Oroszország vezetésének támogatása a tüntetéseken vagy az interneten bizonyos esetekben bűncselekménynek minősülhet.
Csehországban tavaly és legutóbb a múlt héten több olyan több tízezres tüntetés zajlott le, amelyen a felszólalók élesen bírálták a Petr Fiala vezette jobbközép kormány hozzáállását a konfliktushoz, valamint Ukrajna Oroszország elleni feltétlen támogatását.
A legfőbb ügyész a Právo című lap szerdai számának nyilatkozva azt mondta, hogy a kilenc elítélt közül csak egy került börtönbe, a többiek feltételes büntetést, valamint pénzbírságot kaptak.
Patrik Tusl aktivista tavaly az év vége előtt azért kapott kilenc hónapos börtönbüntetést, mert a közösségi hálón ukránokat támadó és sértő nyilatkozatokat hozott nyilvánosságra.
Az ilyen nyilatkozatok bizonyos körülmények között emberiségellenes bűncselekmények nyilvános támogatásának vagy jóváhagyásának minősülhetnek, amelyekért akár hároméves szabadságvesztés is kiszabható.

Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete (ENSZ) az orosz invázió kezdete óta 21 965 áldozatot regisztrált Ukrajna polgári lakossága körében, közülük 8 231-en életüket vesztették, 13 734-en pedig megsebesültek – számolt be kedden az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál az ENSZ Emberi Jogi Főbiztosi Hivatalának (OHCHR) jelentésére hivatkozva.
A közlemény szerint az OHCHR 3 664 férfi, 2173 nő, 260 fiú és 203 lány halálát erősítette meg, 31 gyermek és 1900 felnőtt nemét még nem sikerült megállapítani. A szervezet jelentéséből kiderült, hogy 17 619 áldozat (6 372 halott és 11 247 sebesült) tartózkodott az Ukrajna által ellenőrzött területen az orosz invázió idején.
Idén március 1. és 12. között az ENSZ 293 ukrán civil áldozatot regisztrált: 84 halottat és 209 sebesültet. A világszervezet hangsúlyozta, hogy a halálos áldozatok valós száma sokkal magasabb, mivel egyes helyekről, ahol heves harcok folytak, késnek az információk, és sok jelentést még meg kell erősíteni. Ez vonatkozik például Mariupolra, Liszicsanszkra, Popasznára és Szeverodonyeckre, ahol a polgári lakosság körében számos áldozat van.

461 gyermek halt meg Ukrajnában az Oroszországi Föderáció fegyveres agressziójának évében, közölte Ukrajna Főügyészi Hivatala.
„2023. február 26-i reggeli adatok szerint több mint 1388 gyermek sérült meg Ukrajnában az Oroszországi Föderáció teljes körű fegyveres agressziója következtében. A fiatalkorúak ügyeivel foglalkozó ügyészek hivatalos információja szerint 461 gyermek halt meg, és több mint 927-en szenvedtek különböző súlyosságú sérüléseket” – közölte a Főügyészi Hivatal.
Tegyük hozzá, hogy ezek az adatok nem véglegesek. Folytatódik a munka a harci cselekmények helyszínein, ideiglenesen megszállt és felszabadított területeken.
A legtöbb gyermek Donyeck (445), Harkiv (272), Kijev (123), Herszon (90), Zaporizzsja (84), Mikolajiv (83), Csernyihiv (68), Luhanszki és Dnyipropetrovszk (64) megyégben sérültek meg.

A finn fegyveres erők vezetője, Timo Kivinen tábornok szerint a NATO tagságra pályázó ország kész harcba szállni Oroszországgal, amennyiben Moszkva támadást indít – írta meg a The Guardian.
A katonai vezető elmondta, hogy Finnország már évtizedek óta készül egy orosz támadásra, és ha kell, akkor kemény ellenállást fog tanúsítani.
„Kemény dió leszünk, az biztos”– mondta a tábornok. Az északi ország az elmúlt időszakban jelentős fegyver arzenált halmozott fel. Timo Kivinen szerint ennek ellenére a háborút nem a fegyverek, hanem az emberek nyerik meg, így a kulcs, hogy a finnek motiváltak legyenek a harcra.
„A legfontosabb védelmi vonal az ember fülei között van. Ezt az ukrajnai háború is bizonyítja jelenleg”.
Finnország az 1940-es években két háborút is megvívott keleti szomszédjával, akivel egy 1300 kilométeres határszakaszon osztozik. A második világháború után a finnek semlegességet hirdettek, mivel tartottak tőle, hogy a NATO-hoz való közeledéssel ismét agresszióra ösztönöznék az oroszokat. Miután február 24-én Moszkva offenzívát indított Ukrajna ellen a finnek rájöttek, hogy a semlegesség már nem jelent biztonságot, így benyújtották csatlakozási kérelmüket az Szak-atlanti Szerződés Szervezetéhez.
„Szisztematikusan fejlesztettük a katonai védelmünket azok alapján, amit Ukrajnában láttunk. A tűzerő, a páncélos erők és a légierő masszív felhasználására készülünk. Ukrajna nehéz falat volt és mi is azok leszünk”– mondta Kivinen.
A 5,5 millió lakosú Finnország katonai állománya 280 ezer fő és emellett 870 ezer embert képeznek ki tartalékosnak.
Finnországban a hidegháború után nem törölték el a katonai sorozást, mint a nyugati országot többségében. Ők rendelkeznek Európa egyik legerősebb tüzérségi fegyverzetével és 370 kilométeres hatótávolságú cirkálórakétáik is vannak. A GDP-je 2 százalékát fordítja védelmi beruházásokra, ami magasabb, mint a legtöbb NATO-tagország ráfordítása. Négy új hadihajót és 64 F-35-ös vadászgépet is rendeltek a Lockheed Martintól, valamint legalább kétezer drón megrendelését és saját, nagy magasságban lévő légvédelmi ütegek telepítését is tervezik. Ezzel együtt sorompókkal zárná le az Oroszországgal közös határátkelőket.
Az egyébként is népes hadserege mellett a védelmi minisztérium május 18-i közvéleménykutatásából kiderült, hogy a lakosság 82 százaléka hajlandó lenne részt venni a honvédelemben, ha az országot támadás érné.
Kivinen mindezek ellenére jó döntésnek tartja, hogy országa csatlakozna a NATO-hoz. Szerinte a belépéssel Finnország növelni tudná a korai előre jelző képességét azáltal, hogy része lehetne a szövetség közös légtérellenőrzésének. Ennek már csak Törökország szabhat gátat, aki jelezte, hogy vétózni fogja a finnek és a svédek csatlakozását a szervezethez. A két skandináv ország tárgyalásokat folytat Ankarával, hogy megoldják a nézeteltéréseiket.
