A legnagyobb ellenzéki párt szervezésében tartottak tüntetést Robert Fico szlovák miniszterelnök politikája ellen. A demonstráción három másik ellenzéki erő politikusai is felszólaltak, a beszédet mondók közül többen úgy érzik, az oroszokhoz való közeledéssel az ország rossz oldalra állt.
Tüntetést tartottak Robert Fico szlovák kormányfő ellen Pozsonyban, május 8-án, csütörtökön. A demonstrációt a legnagyobb ellenzéki párt, a Progresszív Szlovákia (PS) szervezte, de a Szabadság és Szolidaritás (SaS), a Kereszténydemokrata Mozgalom (KDH) és a Demokraták is csatlakoztak hozzá. A megmozduláson 8500-9000 ember vehetett részt, akik többször azt skandálták, „elég volt Ficóból” és „szégyen” – adta hírül az Új Szó szlovákiai magyar hírportál.
Elsőként a PS elnökségi tagja és korábbi külügyminiszter, Ivan Korcok állt színpadra. A politikus hallgatóságának elmondta, úgy látja, ma Szlovákiát hasonló veszély fenyegeti mint a második világháború elején, mikor a rossz oldalra álltak. „Világosan kimondjuk: Szlovákiát nem hagyjuk ellopni. Szlovákia Európa része, nem lesz orosz gyarmat” – szögezte le.
Viliam Karas, a KDH elnöke azt hangoztatta, hogy minden politikai hatalom a polgároktól ered, és megköszönte, hogy a kormányfőn és társain kívül másnak nem jutott eszébe a Győzelem Napján Moszkvába utazni. Hozzátette, hogy egy szomszédos ország megtámadása egyben Szlovákia szuverenitásának is a megtámadása. A politikus azt is aláhúzta, hogy Szlovákia nem állhat az agresszor mellé, és alkotmányuk az élet tiszteletére és a nemzetközi jogra épül.
Ennél is keményebb hangot ütött meg Jaroslav Nad, a Demokraták elnöke, aki Ficót egy „oroszbarát nyomorultnak” titulálta, és elmondta, szerinte azért utazott Moszkvába, hogy „csókot nyomjon egy tömeggyilkos gyűrűjére”.
A szlovák miniszterelnök részt vesz Moszkvában a második világháborús győzelmi ünnepségen.
A SaS egyik képviselője, Andrej Hlina beszédében azt mondta, „új pápánk már van, már csak egy új miniszterelnök kellene”.
Legyőztük a fasiszta csizmát. Legyőztük a kommunista csizmát is. Most egy primitív szandál tapos ránk – de ezt a csatát is meg kell nyernünk – mondta a SaS politikusa.
Utolsóként a szervező PS elnöke, Michal Simecka mondott beszédet, aki dühének adott hangot azzal kapcsolatban, hogy ünneplés helyett ma tüntetniük kell Fico miatt, hogy megmutassák, Szlovákia Európa része és csak a kormányfő és társai állnak a háború oldalán. Hozzátette, a miniszterelnök vágya egy „orosz típusú diktatúra”, hogy leszámolhasson a civil szervezetekkel, médiával és az ellenzékkel.
Hozzátette, Szlovákia nem Oroszország, és a négypárti megmozdulás is jelzi, nő az esély egy új kormányra, ami miatt nem kell szégyenkezni.
Az Új Szó megjegyzi, a fővárosban a következő tüntetésre május 9-én pénteken kerül sor a Békét Ukrajnának kezdeményezés szervezésében. Hozzáteszik, hogy ezen kívül más településeken és külföldön is tartanak demonstrációkat.

A tűzoltóság keddről szerdára virradóan hajnali 2 óra után kapott bejelentést két személyről, akik egy ötödik emeleti lakás erkélyén rekedtek a szlovák fővárosban.
A férfi és a nő nem önszántából volt kint – állítólag kizárta őket a lakásban lévő macskájuk.
A helyszínre kiérkező tűzoltóknak sikerült kinyitniuk a lakás ajtaját, majd beengedték a párost.
A férfi és a nő állítólag három órát töltött az erkélyen, mire elhatározták magukat, hogy értesítik a tűzoltókat.
Az eset során szerencsére senkinek sem esett baja.

„Maďari za Dunaj” („A magyarokat a Duna túloldalára”) mottóval szerveztek tüntetést szerdán Pozsonyban a múlt heti késes támadás nyomán. Az eseményen több mint százötvenen vettek részt, akik szimbolikus menetet tartottak a Duna egyik oldaláról a másikra, majd vissza, kifejezve, hogy nem hagyják magukat megfélemlíteni. A rendezvényt, amelynek szimbolikusan – utalva a magyarok elleni agresszióra – a „Maďari za Dunaj“, vagyis „A magyarokat a Duna túloldalára” címet adták, kedd éjszaka néhány óra alatt szervezték meg a pozsonyi Safárik térre, ahol a múlt heti késés támadás történt.

A fiatalokat azért kérte számon a támadó, amiért magyarul beszéltek. Válaszul a későbbi sértett azt felelte, hogy azért, mert magyarok, az elkövető erre elküldte őket a Duna másik oldalára, majd egy kést tartott a fiú nyakához, végül megvágta a sértett állát.
A tüntetők a Safárik térről rendőri kísérettel vonultak át az Öreg-hídon a Duna másik oldalára, majd vissza, hogy bizonyítsák, nem lehet megfélemlíteni őket. A tiltakozás szerda este hat után ért véget, incidens nélkül.
„Azt terveztük, hogy a Safárik térről átsétálunk a Duna másik partjára, az Öreg-hídon át és vissza, szimbolizálva azt, hogy ide tartozunk” – mondta Gyenge Veroni slammer, a rendezvény egyik szervezője.

Úgy gondoljuk, hogy az ilyen támadásokra minél gyorsabban reagálni kell, el kell ítélni, mert nem szeretnénk, hogy újra félni kelljen, ha Pozsonyban magyarul beszélünk
– tette hozzá, megjegyezve, hogy Pozsony nem olyan, mint amilyennek ez a támadás mutatja.
Mi egy toleráns várost szeretnénk, szeretnénk, ha ehhez sokan csatlakoznának, és el tudnánk ítélni bármilyen gyűlöletcselekményt, most éppen a magyar kisebbség elleni támadást – mondta Gyenge Veroni, aki abban bízott, hogy a tiltakozáshoz szlovákok is csatlakoznak. Az eseményen többen felszólaltak, köztük a slammer, aki a Duna túlsó partján arról is beszélt, hogy milyen támadásokat kap a magyarsága és mássága miatt a közösségi médiában.
Toleráns várost szeretnének
Elsőként Bárczi Laura egyetemi hallgató, mint az esemény egyik szervezője, majd Lucia Satinská író is felszólalt a pozsonyi Safárik téren tartott megmozduláson. Mint mondták, mindketten azt szeretnék, ha Pozsony egy toleráns város maradna, ahol mindenki biztonságban érezheti magát. Több politikus is megjelent a tiltakozáson, akik közül legtöbben a Magyar Szövetséget képviselték. A tüntetők közt jelen volt Ondrej Dostál, az SaS parlamenti képviselője is, valamint Ravasz Ábel, Tomás Drucker (Hlas) oktatási miniszter tanácsadója.
Azt gondoltam, hogy ezen már túl vagyunk, hogy az ilyen közvetlen magyarellenesség már kihalóban van, és úgy vélem, ez így is van, ez az incidens kicsit felkavarta az iszapot, de bízom benne, hogy az ilyen eseteket sikerül visszanyomni az iszapba, és ez nem fog megismétlődni. Remélem, hogy a következő generáció már nem is fogja érteni, hogy mi az, hogy »Maďari za Dunaj«

Ondrej Dostál, az SaS parlamenti képviselője megengedhetetlennek nevezte, hogy bárkit erőszak érjen a nemzetisége miatt.
Az Új Szó megjegyzi, hogy a szlovákiai rendőrség és belügyminisztérium nem közölt részletes információkat a pénteki incidensről, a hatóságok részéről az ígért tájékoztatás is elmaradt. A pozsonyi rendőrségi szóvivő elmondta, hogy az extrémizmus bűncselekményének gyanúja fennáll, a sértett fiatal magyar nemzetisége valóban a támadás oka lehetett, az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult.

Négy embert, köztük egy rendőrt is megsebesített egy pozsonyi lakótelepen egy ház ablakából lövöldöző férfi csütörtökön hajnalban. Rátámadt a helyszínre érkező rendőrökre is, akik lelőtték – közölték szlovák médiaforrások és a rendőrség.
Az elkövető az ablakból kezdett lövöldözni a szlovák főváros Dúbravka városrészében, majd az utcára rohant, és tovább lövöldözött – írta az esetről elsőként beszámoló noviny.sk hírportál szemtanúkra hivatkozva. A férfi ezután visszament a lakásába, ahonnét később egy robbanás zaja hallatszott, majd az elkövető késsel a kezében kirohant a lakásból, és a lépcsőházban a közben már a helyszínre érkező rendőrökre támadt, akik azt követően lelőtték. A lövöldöző a helyszínen meghalt.
Az incidensben négyen sebesültek meg, köztük egy rendőr. A TASR szlovák közszolgálati hírügynökség jelentése szerint őket a pozsonyi egyetemi kórházban lőtt sebekkel, egyiküket késszúrás okozta sebesülés miatt is el kellett látni. Kettőnél műtéti beavatkozásra is szükség volt. A rendőrség közlése szerint a férfi tettének oka egyelőre ismeretlen, az eset körülményeit egyelőre vizsgálják.

Tüntetők próbáltak bejutni a pozsonyi parlamentbe péntek délelőtt, a járványügyi intézkedések ellen demonstráltak.
Többszáz tüntető gyűlt össze péntek délelőtt a pozsonyi parlament épülete előtt, hogy tiltakozzon a szlovák kormány járványügyi intézkedései és a közegészségügyi törvény tervezett módosítása ellen – jelentette a TASR szlovák hírügynökség.
A tüntetők egy ideg elállták a parlament épületének bejáratát. Azt követelték, hogy a törvényhozás ne fogadja el a közegészségügyi törvény kormány által beterjesztett módosítását.
A vitatott jogszabály, amelyről pénteken gyorsított eljárásban kellett döntenie a törvényhozásnak, lényegében lehetővé tenné, hogy a közegészségügyi hivatal (ÚVZ) a járványügyi intézkedések érvényesítésekor figyelembe vegye, hogy az emberek rendelkeznek-e digitális Covid-igazolvánnyal vagy sem. A tiltakozók szerint ez hátrányosan érinti a be nem oltottakat is.
Helyi sajtójelentések szerint a tiltakozó megmozduláson egyes tüntetők dulakodtak a parlamenthez kivezényelt rendőrökkel, akik könnygázt vetettek be ellenük.
A tüntetőket és céljaikat a helyszínen is támogatásáról biztosította a pozsonyi parlament két legnagyobb ellenzéki pártja, a Robert Fico vezette Irány (Smer-SD) és a Mi Szlovákiánk-Néppárt (LSNS) több képviselője is. A tömeg előtt felszólalt, és a vitatott törvény elvetését ígérte Peter Pellegrini volt miniszterelnök, az Irányból kivált Hang (Hlas-SD) vezetője is, akit viszont a tömeg kifütyült és árulónak nevezett. A demonstráció résztvevői jelezték, hogy akár napokon keresztül is hajlandóak folytatni a pénteken megkezdett tiltakozásukat.
A tüntetésre a szlovák kormány szóvivője az MTI-nek is elküldött szűkszavú nyilatkozatában reagált. Ebben egyebek mellett azt írta, hogy a véleménynyilvánítást a demokrácia részének tekintik, ugyanakkor elutasítják a rendőrök elleni erőszak bármilyen formáját.

Szombaton kormányellenes tüntetés volt Pozsonyban, a Szabadság téren és a Hodža téren. A tüntetők a járványügyi intézkedések ellen is felemelték a szavukat.
Annak ellenére szervezték meg a tüntetést, hogy az országban veszélyhelyzet van, s továbbra is érvényben vannak a koronavírus továbbterjedését megakadályozó intézkedések.
Egy személyt őrizetbe vettek, de nagyobb rendbontás nem történt.
A demonstráción több tíz-száz ember vett részt. Peter Marček volt európai parlamenti képviselő is felszólalt, aki arról tájékoztatta a jelenlévőket, hogy a veszélyhelyzetre való tekintettel május 1-i felvonulásról van szó.
„Odasétálunk az elnöki palotához. Elmondunk pár gondolatot kollégámmal, Róbert Šveccel, s visszatérünk a Szabadság térre, aztán mindenki hazamegy” – mondta.
Egyúttal közvetítette a rendőrség azon kérést, hogy ne verődjenek az emberek nagyobb csoportokba, s takarják el maszkkal az arcukat. A tüntetők erre füttyel válaszoltak és azt kiabálták, hogy „szó sem lehet róla”. A demonstrálók a figyelmeztetések ellenére sem vettek fel maszkot, s a többi kérést sem teljesítették. A tüntetésen résztvevő felszólalók kritizálták a jelenlegi veszélyhelyzetet, a járványügyi intézkedéseket és a kormányt is.
Michal Szeiff, a Pozsonyi Rendőrség Regionális Igazgatóságának szóvivője a TASR-nak elmondta, hogy elegendő számú rendőr felügyelte a közrendet Pozsonyban. „A gyülekezés a során nem észleltünk súlyos rendbontást; egy személyt korlátoztak a személyes szabadságában, akit később a rendőrség illetékes osztályára szállítottak” – mondta.
A rendőrség a tüntetés után is figyelemmel kíséri a fővárosi helyzetet.
