Iránban több pszichiátriai társaság tiltakozott az ellen, hogy az utóbbi hetekben pszichiátriai kezelésre ítéltek több ellenzékit, köztük ismert színésznőket, akik nem voltak hajlandók nyilvánosan hordani az iszlám fejkendőt (hidzsábot) – jelentette vasárnap a France24 hírtelevízió online kiadása.



Júliusban a bíróság két év felfüggesztett börtönbüntetésre és heti egy kötelező pszichiátriai kezelésre ítélte a 61 éves Afszaneh Bajigán színésznőt, aki egy nyilvános eseményen fejkendő nélkül jelent meg, Instagram-oldalán pedig többször kendő nélküli képet osztott meg magáról.







A Fársz félhivatalos iráni hírügynökség közlése szerint a kezelések célja a népszerű színésznő „családellenes személyiségzavarának” gyógyítása.



Ugyancsak júliusban további három, a hidzsáb viselését megtagadó színésznőt diagnosztizáltak különböző mentális betegségekkel, köztük antiszociális személyiségzavarral.



Mindeközben a BBC brit hírtelevízió perzsa nyelvű weboldalán azt közölték, hogy a börtönből pszichiátriai intézetbe szállították Számán Jaszint, az Iránban népszerű rappert, aki korábban a kormányellenes tömegtüntetéseket támogatta.



A BBC emlékeztetett arra, hogy a síita állami oktatásügyi minisztere, Júszuf Núri már tavaly beismerte, hogy néhány, az iskolai és az utcai tiltakozásokon részt vevő kiskorút „pszichiátriai központokba” vittek, ahol „az antiszociális viselkedésüket kezelik”.



Több iráni pszichiátriai és pszichológiai társaság is tiltakozott az ítéletek ellen, és a Golamhoszein Mohszeni Edzseihez, az iráni igazságszolgáltatás vezetőjéhez intézett nyílt levélben azt vetették Teherán szemére, hogy a saját céljaira akarja használni a pszichiátriát.



Az ország törvényei értelmében a hidzsáb viselésének megtagadása akár két év börtönbüntetést – visszaesőknél akár hármat – vonhat maga után.



Iránban Mahsza Amini 22 éves kurd nő halálát követően robbant ki országos tiltakozási hullám tavaly ősszel. Aminit azért vette őrizetbe az iráni erkölcsrendészet, mert nem viselte a kötelező muszlim kendőt, majd fogva tartása alatt, szeptember 13-án meghalt. A teheráni rendőrség tagadta, hogy az őrizetbe vételnek köze lett volna a nő halálához. Amini halála országos tiltakozást váltott ki, és bár a tüntetési hullám nyomán az erkölcsrendészet alakulatai egy időre eltűntek a nagyvárosok utcáiról, a hatóságok júliusban bejelentették, hogy újraindítják a fejkendő viselését ellenőrző őrjáratokat.
