A légvédelmi szirénák is megszólaltak, a rakéta végül lakatlan területen robbant fel, sérülés vagy anyagi kár nem történt.
Föld-föld rakétát lőttek ki Izraelre a jemeni húti lázadók – közölte a Reuters az izraeli hadseregre hivatkozva. A rakéta az ország közepén, lakatlan területen csapódott be vasárnap reggel, emiatt Tel-Aviv környékén megszólaltak a légvédelmi szirénák. A lakosok hangos robbanásokról számoltak be, a hadsereg szerint ez a rakétaelhárítók kilövése miatt volt hallható.
Júliusban az Irán által pénzelt jemeni hútik drónnal támadták Tel-Avivot, a támadásban egy ember meghalt. Válaszul Izrael légitámadást indított a lázadók kezén lévő jemeni Hudajda kikötő ellen, amely három halálos áldozattal járt. Az izraeli hadsereg azt is közölte: vasárnap Libanon területéről 40 rakétát lőttek ki Izrael irányába, nagy részüket lelőtték, a maradék pedig lakatlan területre esett.
