A Fülöp-szigeteken az áradások és az esőzések okozta földcsuszamlások halálos áldozatainak száma 98-ra emelkedett. A 98 halálos áldozat közül legalább 53-an a Bangsamoro autonóm régióban található Maguindanaóban éltek, amelyet a Nalgae trópusi vihar szokatlanul heves esőzései öntöttek el.

A Nalgae várhatóan hétfő késő este távolodik el a Fülöp-szigetek térségétől – közölte a meteorológiai hivatal. A szél maximális sebessége elérte az óránkénti 85 kilométert, a széllökéseké pedig az óránkénti 105 kilométert.
A Fülöp-szigeteket évente átlagosan 20 tájfun és heves vihar sújtja.
