Közlekedési fennakadásokat okozott a rendőrség és a belga sajtó szerint az európai szakszervezetek felvonulással egybekötött megmozdulása Brüsszelben kedden, a résztvevők egyes európai uniós költségvetési szabályok szerintük megszorításokat eredményező reformja ellen tiltakoztak.
Az Európai Szakszervezetek Szövetsége (ESZSZ) és számos belgiumi és más uniós munkavállalói érdekképviseleti szervezet felhívására a szervezők szerint tízezren, a rendőrség szerint mintegy ötezren vonultak utcára. A megmozduláshoz a szervezők szerint legkevesebb hatezren érkeztek más uniós országokból.
A felvonulók a brüsszeli igazságügyi palota elől indultak, és az uniós intézményeknek otthont adó városrész egyik központi terére érkeztek.
A megmozdulás résztvevői azért gyűltek össze, hogy „nemet mondjanak a kipróbált és kudarcot vallott megszorításokra” – idézte a szervezőket a La Libre Belgique című, francia nyelvű belga napilap az internetes oldalán. A megszorító intézkedéseket már „tesztelték” a koronavírus-járvány és az azt követő gazdasági- és energiaválság ideje alatt. A jövő évtől bevezetni tervezett program elhibázott, sok munkavállaló elbocsátásához vezetne – írták.
A Le Soir című belga napilap Maurizio Landinit, az Olasz Általános Munkás Konföderáció (CGIL) főtitkárát idézte, aki a brüsszeli demonstrációt megnyitó sajtótájékoztatón azt mondta: a megszorítások szabályaihoz való visszatérés nemcsak a munkavállalók számára lenne káros, hanem magának Európának is.
„Hiba lenne, ha az Európai Unió olyan költségvetési szabályokat fogadna el, amelyek visszahozzák a megszorítások korszakát” – tette hozzá a főtitkár.
Igazságos ökológiai átmenetre, jobb oktatásra, hatékony egészségügyi ellátásra és a magasabb bérekre van szükség – közölte Esther Lynch, az ESZSZ főtitkára, majd hozzátette: a szakszervezetek a megszorítások helyett a Covid-járvány idején érvényben lévőhöz hasonló európai szolidaritási mechanizmust szorgalmaznak, amely „forrásokat szabadít fel a munkavállalók munkahelyeinek és jövedelmének megőrzése érdekében”.
A kifogásolt reformok az uniós gazdasági Stabilitási és Növekedési Paktum reformjának részét képezik.
Az ebben foglalt költségvetési szabályokat 2020 tavaszán felfüggesztették, hogy a tagállamok hatékonyan léphessenek fel a világjárvánnyal, majd az elszabadult energiaárakkal szemben. Az Európai Bizottság azt tervezi, hogy a rendelkezéseket felülvizsgált formában 2024 januárjától újra bevezeti, nagyobb mozgásteret biztosítva a költségvetési beruházásoknak.
Mivel a brüsszeli közlekedési vállalat (STIB) számos munkatársa is részt vett a keddi megmozduláson, a belga főváros közlekedésében jelentős zavarok jelentkeztek. A vállalat tájékoztatása szerint a menetrend késő estére állhat helyre.

A legnagyobb belga szakszervezetek tagjainak országos tüntetése miatt szinte leállt Brüsszel tömegközlekedése, számos repülőjáratot töröltek, a szervezők tízezreket várnak a főváros utcáira – tájékoztatott a La Libre Belgique című francia nyelvű belga napilap pénteken.
Belgium három legnagyobb szakszervezete Brüsszelben szervezett tüntetésével a vásárlóerő növelését követeli a dolgozók számára, különösen a nonprofit szektorban, akik nem jogosultak a jóléti csomagról és a bérszínvonalról szóló, a szövetségi kormánnyal folytatott tárgyalások eredményeként nyújtani tervezett, 500 és 750 euró közötti fizetésemelésre – írja az MTI.
Kiemelték, az embereknek nehézségeik vannak számláik kifizetésével, vissza kell fogni vásárlásaikat. Ez az oka annak, hogy a szakszervezetek az energiaárak korlátozását szorgalmazzák, versenyképes fizetéseket és tisztességes nyugdíjakat követelnek.
A tüntetésen számos vállalat dolgozója vesz részt. A helyi és országos közlekedési vállalatok dolgozói mellett részt vesznek többek között a belga posta és az ország két legnagyobb nemzetközi repülőtere, a Zaventem és a Charleroi nemzetközi repülőterek dolgozói is.
A légikikötők közül az előbbi ez idáig legkevesebb 60, utóbbi a járatok 30 százalékát törölte pénteken. A belga vasúttársaság ingyen szállítja a tüntetésre igyekvőket a belga fővárosba.

Több mint száz amerikai cég tulajdonában lévő Starbucks kávéház dolgozója kezdett munkabeszüntetésbe november 17-én, hogy tiltakozzanak a szakszervezetük elleni megtorlások miatt.
A szakszervezet tagjai szerint a kávéház dolgozói alulfizetettek, és nincs következetes időbeosztásuk. Tiltakoznak továbbá az elbocsátások, az üzletek bezárása és más intézkedések ellen, amelyek szerintük a Starbucks megtorlási intézkedései a szakszervezeti szerveződésük miatt.
Azért szerveződünk, hogy hallják a hangunkat a munkahelyünkön és valóban helyet kapjunk az asztalnál
– fogalmazott Michelle Eisen, egy New York állambeli dolgozó.
A kávéházlánc – amelynek közel 9 ezer vállalati tulajdonú vendéglátóegysége van az Egyesült Államokban – azt nyilatkozta a munkabeszüntetéssel és a dolgozók követeléseivel kapcsolatban, hogy tiszteletben tartja a munkavállalók szervezkedési jogát, az üzletek bezárása pedig biztonsági okokból történt, az elbocsátott alkalmazottak pedig megsértették a vállalati irányelveket.
A National Labor Relations Board állami szerv augusztusban arra kötelezte a Starbucksot, hogy vegye fel újra néhány elbocsátott baristáját, akik szakszervezeti aktivisták voltak – írta a Reuters.

A cseh szakszervezetek hétfőn az energia- és élelmiszerárak emelkedése elleni tömegdemonstrációra szólítottak fel, valamint jelentős béremeléseket is követeltek.
A válság fokozódásával párhuzamosan egyre nagyobb nyomás nehezedik a cseh jobbközép kormányra, hogy tegyen többet a megfékezése érdekében – írja a Reuters. Mivel jelentősen csökkent az Oroszországból érkező gázszállítás, a gáz ára megemelkedett, emiatt pedig az európai közüzemi számlák végösszege is.
Csehország lakosságának a helyzetét tovább nehezíti az is, hogy három évtizedes csúcsot ért el a cseh infláció, ami az Európai Unió negyedik legmagasabbja. Szombat délután tízezrek követelték Prágában a Petr Fiala miniszterelnök vezette jobboldali ötpárti kormány lemondását. A felszólalók többek között azt bírálták, hogy a kormány fegyverekkel támogatja Ukrajnát, miközben a cseh lakosság érdekeit elhanyagolja. Többen voltak olyanok is, akik egyenesen Putyin rendszerét éltető transzparensekkel érkeztek.
A tüntetésen részt vevők számát a rendőrség 70 ezerre becsülte, a rendezők szerint viszont százezernél sokkal többen voltak a Vencel téren. A szakszervezeti csoportok október nyolcadikára szerveztek egy megmozdulást, amely azt bizonyítja, hogy az ötpárti koalícióval szembeni elégedetlenség jóval szélesebb.
Nem vagyunk elégedettek a jelenlegi helyzettel. Mi nem vagyunk szélsőségesek, vagy bármi ilyesmi, mi olyan emberek vagyunk, akik féltik a jövőjüket – nyilatkozta Josef Stredula, a Cseh-Morva Szakszervezeti Szövetség vezetője. A második negyedévben 9,8 százalékkal csökkentek a cseh bérek az előző évhez képest, aminek legfőképpen az infláció az oka. Az emelkedő rezsiszámlák miatt a háztartások spórolásba kezdtek, ami a cseh gazdaság recesszióját okozhatja.

Franciaország
nagyvárosaiban a radikálisabb szakszervezetek által a kormány tervezett
nyugdíjreformja ellen meghirdetett kilencedik tiltakozónapon ismét tízezrek
vonultak az utcára, miközben a nemzetgyűlésben az ellenzék obstrukcióval
nehezítette a törvénytervezet bizottsági vitáját – adta hírül az MTI.
„Itt a
tömeg. Csak ki kell nyitniuk a szemüket azoknak, akik nem akarják ezt meglátni”
– mondta a párizsi menet élén Philippe Martinez, a CGT nevű szakszervezet
vezetője.
Egyúttal
visszautasította a tiltakozás kifulladását prognosztizáló véleményeket, mint
kiemelte, „még messze vagyunk a megmozdulás végétől”.
A CGT
továbbra is az „igazságtalan és veszélyes” reformtervezet visszavonását
követeli, amelynek célja a jelenleg 42-féle, ágazatonként szerveződő
nyugdíjrendszer egységesítése.
A szervezők
szerint csütörtökön 130 ezren tiltakoztak Párizson kívül Lyonban,
Marseille-ben, Toulouse-ban és Bordeaux-ban is.
A december
5-én kezdődött tiltakozások első megmozdulásán a szakszervezetek szerint másfél
millióan, a rendőrség szerint 806 ezren vonultak utcára. Amióta viszont a
kormány januárban kompromisszumos javaslattal állt elő, a vasúti közlekedésben
és a párizsi tömegközlekedésben fokozatosan helyreállt a rend, azonban a
kedélyek nem csillapodtak le teljesen, miután a radikálisabb szakszervezetek
különböző figyelemfelhívó akciókkal és munkabeszüntetésekkel folytatják a
tiltakozást.
Napok óta
sztrájkolnak a nagyvárosokban a hulladékégetők – akik a korkedvezményes nyugdíj
megtartását követelik –, aminek következtében Párizs, Lyon és Marseille egyes
kerületeiben szünetel a szemétszállítás, az utcákon halmokban állnak a
szemeteszsákok. Számos ügyvéd is munkabeszüntetéssel tiltakozik az ellen, hogy
az önálló nyugdíjrendszerüket beolvasztanák az állami pénztárba, és a jövőben
legalább kétszer annyi nyugdíjjárulékot kellene fizetniük, mint most. Nicole
Belloubet igazságügyi miniszter arról biztosította csütörtökön az ügyvédi
kamarát, hogy 2029-ig biztosan nem emelkedik az ügyvédek
nyugdíjjáruléka.
A kormány
célja az egységes nyugdíjrendszer bevezetésén és a kivételeket élvező külön
pénztárak megszüntetésén túl az állami nyugdíjpénztár egyensúlyban tartása,
mégpedig úgy, hogy az új pontrendszerrel arra ösztönöznék a franciákat, hogy
magasabb nyugdíjért cserébe a 62 éves korhatár után is dolgozzanak.
A
törvényjavaslatról az illetékes nemzetgyűlési bizottság a héten kezdte meg a
vitát, a plenáris ülés elé február 17-én kerül a szöveg. Az ellenzék
obstrukcióval nehezíti a testület munkáját: mintegy 20 ezer módosító indítványt
nyújtottak be a jogszabály-tervezethez, ebből 19 ezret a radikális baloldali
Lázadó Franciaország jegyez. Az ellenzéki párt azt is kéri Emmanuel Macron
államfőtől, hogy írjon ki népszavazást a nyugdíjreformról.
