Letartóztattak egy román turistát kedden az athéni Akropolisznál, miután márványdarabokat próbált ellopni az ókori görög műemlékről.
A 36 éves férfit azután fogták el, hogy egy másik turista észrevette, amint gyanúsan ráteszi a kezét az Akropoliszra vezető kapu maradványaira.
Amikor a rendőrök kérdőre vonták, a turista azt állította, hogy nem tudta, hogy a kődarabok elvétele illegális, és hozzátette, hogy már úgyis letörték az építményt.

Kisebb pánik alakult ki a Tel-Aviv melletti Ben Gurion repülőtéren, miután egy amerikai család szuvenírként egy fel nem robbant bombát próbált meg hazavinni – írta a BBC.
A hatóságok szerint a robbanószerkezetet a Golán-fennsíkon találták. A szerkezet Izrael 1967-es hatnapos háborújából maradhatott ott, ekkor foglalta el Izrael a terület nagy részét Szíriától.
Az izraeli YNet hírportál szerint az incidens során a család egyik tagja elővette a hátizsákjából a gránátot, és megkérdezte egy biztonsági tisztviselőt, hogy beteheti-e a bőröndbe.
A tisztviselő elrendelte a közvetlen környezetének kiürítését, de egy másik utas, aki félrehallotta őt, „terroristák lőnek” kiabálásba kezdett, ami tömeges pánikot váltott ki – írta az oldal.
Az izraeli Kan közszolgálati műsorszolgáltató által közzétett videón több tucat ember látható, amint kiabálva menekülnek a reptér check-in területéről. A kialakult káoszban egy ember megsérült, őt kórházba szállították.
„Attól féltem, hogy valaki elkezdett lőni, ezért a check-in felé futottam, megbotlottam egy futószalagon és hat métert repültem” – nyilatkozta az izraeli férfi az YNetnek.
A Ben Guriont a világ egyik legszigorúbban ellenőrzött repülőterének tartják. A járművek és az utazók több biztonsági ellenőrzésen esnek át, mielőtt elérik a terminált és a check-in területet.
Izraelben nagyfokú készültség van érvényben, miután az elmúlt hetekben országszerte több, halálos áldozatokat is követelő támadás történt.
