Újabb áldozatot követelt az orosz–ukrán háború: augusztus 23-án éjjel egy ukrán MiG-29-es vadászgép pilótája, Szerhij Bondar leszállás közben meghalt – jelentette be az RBC–Ukraine, az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők Légierejére hivatkozva.
A MiG-29-es vadászgép pilótája, az 1979-ben született Bondar Szerhij Viktorovics őrnagy, miután leszállás közben teljesített egy harci feladatot, meghalt – áll a jelentésben. Csütörtök este megszakadt a kapcsolat egy F-16-os vadászgéppel, amely egy légitámadás elhárításában vett részt, a pilóta katapultált és evakuálták – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál pénteken az ukrán fegyveres erők légierő-parancsnokságának Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint „2025. május 16-án, körülbelül 03:30 órakor megszakadt a kapcsolat az F-16-os vadászgéppel. Az ukrán gép egy ellenséges légitámadás elhárítására irányuló feladatot hajtott végre”. Az előzetes adatok szerint a pilóta 3 légi célpontot semmisített meg, és már egy negyediken dolgozott repülőgép ágyújával.
„Azonban vészhelyzet alakult ki a fedélzeten. A elvezette a gépet egy településtől, és sikeresen katapultált. A kutató-mentő csapat gyors munkájának köszönhetően a pilótát gyorsan megtalálták és evakuálták” – jelentette az ukrán fegyveres erők légierő-parancsnokságának kommunikációs osztálya.
A jelentések szerint a pilóta közérzete kielégítő – „biztonságos helyen van, élete és egészsége nincs veszélyben”. A légierő hozzátette, hogy bizottságot hoztak létre, „amely objektíven tisztázza az összes körülményt”. Már meg is kezdte a munkáját.
