Egy macska áraszthatta el vízzel a hollandiai Dokkum tanácsházát 325 ezer euró kárt okozva – közölte pénteken a városvezetés.
Az Omrop Fryslan helyi televízió beszámolója szerint a macskát tavaly májusban vették észre építkezési munkálatok során. Mivel nem sikerült befogni, az épületet ideiglenesen bezárták.
A macska véletlenszerűen megnyithatott egy vízcsapot, ami miatt észrevétlenül víz szivárgott a falakba. A falak és a padló egy részét ki kellett cserélni.
A felújítási számlát az önkormányzat csütörtök esti ülésén Bert Koonstra polgármester mutatta be. „A biztosító fedezi a kárt” – mondta. „Ezzel végre lezárhatjuk ezt a macskaügyet” – tette hozzá, bár nem lehetett bizonyítani, hogy valóban az állat volt a tettes.
