Злочин стався після вечірньої служби, о пів на сьому вечора, у 20-му окрузі столиці Франції.
«Напередодні ввечері в Парижі стався черговий антисемітський напад. Ми зробимо все можливе, щоб знайти виконавця цього неприйнятного акту насилля», – написав міністр внутрішніх справ Франції Жеральд Дарманен на платформі X.
Чоловік у кіпі, на якого напали, саме виходив із синагоги. Злочинець утік з місця події пішки, повідомили джерела в поліції. Нападник назвав жертву «брудним євреєм» і завдав йому кілька ударів руками та ногами, передає інформаційне агентство AFP.
Потерпілого доставили до лікарні.
AFP, посилаючись на джерела в поліції, повідомляє, що міністр внутрішніх справ Жеральд Дарманен напередодні цього інциденту закликав префектури посилити заходи безпеки щодо єврейських громад, зокрема поблизу навчальних і релігійних установ, мотивуючи своє рішення останніми подіями в Газі.
Рада представників єврейських установ Франції (CRIF) у січні опублікувала звіт, у якому йдеться, що кількість антисемітських актів, зареєстрованих у країні, протягом року зросла в чотири рази. У 2023-му сталося 1676 інцидентів, тоді як позаминулого року їх було 436. Організація вказала на те, що стрибок почався 7 жовтня, у день терористичної атаки на Ізраїль з боку палестинської ісламістської організації ХАМАС.
