В Індії вдалося врятувати всіх робітників, які опинилися в пастці внаслідок обвалу тунелю в Гімалаях, повідомила місцева влада.







Рятувальники пробурити шлях до людей, які провели під завалами 17 днів, поінформував уряд індійського штату Уттаракханд. Обвал стався 12 листопада в 4,5-кілометровому автодорожньому тунелі на трасі, що будується й частково пролягає в Гімалаях.



Під час кількагодинної рятувальної операції робітників по одному витягували на колісних ношах через трубу діаметром 90 см. 41 чоловіка доставили до лікарні, яка знаходиться за 30 км від місця інциденту.



Тунель є частиною автомагістралі Tsar Dham вартістю 1,5 мільярда доларів. Це один із найамбітніших проєктів прем’єр-міністра Нарендри Моді. Автошлях має з’єднати чотири головні індуїстські місця паломництва мережею доріг протяжністю 890 км.



Тунель обвалився, імовірно, через зсув і заблокував усередині понад сорок працівників. Їм тривалий час доправляли їжу, вітамін С та ліки по трубі меншого діаметру, а зв’язок підтримували за допомогою рації.

У понеділок ізраїльська армія заявила, що виявила та заблокувала тунель, що веде із сектору Газа, який був виритий правителями палестинського анклаву ХАМАС.

Ізраїль заявляє, що група бойовиків прагне використовувати так звані штурмові тунелі для викрадення ізраїльських солдатів або цивільних осіб як „козир” під час обміну полоненими.



Ізраїльські військові заявили, що ідентифікували тунель „з двома маршрутами, що належать терористичній організації ХАМАС, проритими у північній частині сектора Газа”.



Тунель „перетнув ізраїльську територію”, повідомив бригадний генерал Німрод Алоні.



Армія заявила, що тунель був „нейтралізований”.



ХАМАС відповів, що „палестинський опір має право використовувати всі засоби для посилення своїх можливостей проти зарозумілості та злочинності Ізраїлю”.



Ця новина з’явилася трохи більше ніж через тиждень після того, як триденний конфлікт між Ізраїлем та бойовиками „Ісламського джихаду” в Газі закінчився перемир’ям за посередництва Єгипту.



Щонайменше 49 палестинців, у тому числі кілька бойовиків „Ісламського джихаду” та 17 дітей, загинули внаслідок насильства, а в Ізраїлі троє людей отримали осколкові поранення.

У невеликому німецькому місті Шпенге, федеральна земля Північний Рейн-Вестфалія, у ході ремонту плитки на тротуарі будівельники виявили тунель, що веде до місцевого відділення банку, імовірно, прокопаний зловмисниками, які планували пограбування.







Дорожників для ремонту викликали тому, що минулої п’ятниці покриття тротуару біля стоянки просіло. Спочатку робітники припустили, що це сталося через прорив водопроводу. Розкопавши плитку, будівельники разом з поліцією виявили тунель завдовжки майже 8 метрів і діаметром близько метра, який веде до місцевого відділення банку Volksbank.



Тунель починався від будівлі, що належить енергетичній компанії. Замки в приміщенні могли замінити ті, хто прокладав підземний прохід, щоб персонал не мав доступу до нього.







«Таке можна побачити хіба що в кіно», – сказав місцевій газеті Neue Westfaelische Фолкер Штейн, співробітник Volksbank.



Представник банку зазначив, що, хоча заходи безпеки у фінансовій установі були суворими, грабіжники, імовірно, розчарувалися б, з’ясувавши що в сейфі не тримали великих сум.

На кордоні США та Мексики виявили ретельно спланований тунель контрабандистів, заявили в п’ятницю федеральні органи США.







Добре укріплений, оснащений вентиляцією, коліями, водопроводом та електропроводкою тунель веде із міста Сан-Луїс-Ріо-Колорадо, Мексика, до міста Сан-Луїс, штат Арізона. Але будівництво було не завершене, залишалось вивести його на поверхню, повідомляє MTI.



До слова, тунель був побудований на ділянці, що не сприяє такій роботі. Через тверду землю та сипучий пісок більшість подібних переходів руйнуються.



Той факт, що тунель був дуже добре побудований, оснащений вентиляційною системою, водопостачанням, системою колій, електроенергією, має стіни, дах та підлогу, робить цей об’єкт унікальним, – зазначив Енджел Ортіз (Angel Ortiz), представник Служби імміграції та митного контролю США.



Слідчі Департаменту внутрішньої безпеки почали розкопки наприкінці липня після повідомлення про яму поблизу загородження кордону. Тунель має ширину 1 метр і висоту 1,2 метра. Оскільки він не завершений, можна лише припускати, для чого тунель планували використовувати.

Американська митна служба заявила, що виявила найдовший тунель для контрабанди із коли-небудь знайдених в прикордонних районах з Мексикою.

Підземний хід довжиною 1 313 метрів обладнаний ліфтом, рейковими шляхами, системами вентиляції та дренажу, а також високовольтними лініями електропередач.







Вхід в нього розташований на території промислового
об’єкта на околиці міста Тіхуана в Мексиці, а вихід — в американському місті
Сан-Дієго, штат Каліфорнія.



Зазначають, що мексиканська поліція виявила вхід в тунель
ще в серпні 2019 року, але досі слідчі зі США вивчали його, наносили на карту і
склали опис. Власне цей опис вони опублікували 29 грудня.



Середня глибина, на якій проходить тунель, — 21 метр. Сам
хід сягає 175 см у висоту і 62 см в ширину. Залишається таємницею, скільки часу
пішло на його спорудження.



«Складність і протяжність цього тунелю демонструє,
наскільки довго транснаціональні злочинні організації здатні готувати операції
для контрабанди», — заявив спецагент міністерства внутрішньої безпеки США в
Сан-Дієго Карделл Морант.



Наразі чиновники не повідомляють, кого саме вони
підозрюють в спорудженні тунель.



У самому тунелі не виявили наркотиків або інших предметів
контрабанди, однак відомо, що в цьому районі активно діє мексиканський картель
Сінаола, який американська влада вважає найбільшою злочинної наркотичною
організацією у світі.



Засновником цього картелю Хоакін Гузман на прізвисько
«Ель-Чапо» (Коротун). Він очолював організацію протягом тривалого часу, а зараз
відбуває довічне ув’язнення в американській в’язниці.



З 2016 року на кордоні між Мексикою та США було виявлено
більше десятка подібних тунелів, але менших за протяжністю.
