A vasárnap hajnali hírek hallatán sokan úgy gondolhatták, ez a két gép vett részt az Iránban végrehajtott támadásban, azonban az amerikai hadsereg vasárnapi sajtótájékoztatóján elárulták, hogy a két gép csak „csali” volt.
  
 
 A „Midnight Hammer” nevű hadművelet során hét b-2-es bombázó 18 órán át repült észrevétlenül, minimális kommunikációval és levegőben történő üzemanyag-feltöltéssel, miközben a másik, két gépből álló bombázócsoport megtévesztésként a Csendes-óceán felé indult. Az iráni légtérhez közeledve egy amerikai tengeralattjáró több mint két tucat Tomahawk rakétát indított, miközben vadászgépek repültek a bombázók előtt, hogy elhárítsák az esetleges iráni vadászgépeket és rakétákat.

 Ismeretes, hogy a lublini vajdaságban található Hrubesiv település közelében közúti balesetet szenvedett egy ukrán cég autóbusza.
 Az előzetes információk szerint 20 ukrán szenvedett különböző súlyosságú sérüléseket. Kórházba szállították őket, megkapták a szükséges orvosi segítséget.
