На індонезійському острові Суматра сильні дощі спровокували зсув ґрунту, унаслідок чого на нелегальній золотодобувній шахті загинуло щонайменше 15 людей, багато працівниківвважаються зниклими безвісти, повідомила в п’ятницю місцева влада.
У четвер у провінції Західна Суматра з навколишніх пагорбів зійшла грязьова лавина й накрила місцевих жителів, які шукали золоті самородки. За даними управління з ліквідації наслідків стихійного лиха, досі тривають пошуки щонайменше 25 людей. Рятувальні роботи ускладнюються відключеннями електроенергії, перебоями зі зв’язком та повсюдним налипанням бруду. Район золотих копалень знаходиться за чотири години ходьби від найближчого міста.
В Індонезії діє багато неліцензованих, неофіційних копалень, де шахтарі, які працюють практично без захисного спорядження, наражаються на небезпеку через зсуви, повені та обвали тунелів, а також токсичні речовини, зокрема ртуть та ціанід, що використовуються в роботі.
Зовсім недавно, у липні, зсув поховав під собою нелегальну золоту копальню на острові Челебес, унаслідок чого загинуло 23 людей.
У Кабулі стався вибух біля мечеті, що належить Міністерству внутрішніх справ, лікарні наразі повідомляють про двох загиблих і 18 поранених.
Як повідомив речник міністерства внутрішніх справ Абдул Нафі Такур, вибух стався, коли співробітники міністерства та відвідувачі саме молилися в мечеті.

A quiet morning in Bucharest turned catastrophic when an explosion tore through the 5th and 6th floors of an 8-story apartment building, killing 3 people and injuring more than a dozen.

Як зазначив голова Чернігівської ОДА Андрій Прокопенко, за попередньою інформацією, місцевий житель підірвав гранату під час спільного відпочинку компанії. Загинуло троє людей, одна особа була госпіталізована.
Про вибух, що стався ввечері на вулиці перед будинком під час вживання алкоголю, повідомила речниця поліції Чернігівської області Юлія Ковтун. За її словами, серед загиблих двоє чоловіків 43 і 58 років та 48-літня жінка. Ще один чоловік, якому 43 роки, був госпіталізований.
Зовсім недавно, у ніч на неділю, подібний випадок стався в одному з населених пунктів Рожнятівського району Івано-Франківської області. Чоловік, будучи в гостях у приятеля, під час розпивання спиртних напоїв посварився з ним, після чого поклав на стіл ручну гранату, і вона здетонувала. Чоловіка доставили до лікарні з важкими травмами від осколків снаряда.
