„Чотири ракети (типу „Калібр”, – ред.) було випущено з акваторії Азовського моря, і це є важливим поворотним моментом, тому що, як ви бачите, вони використовують його, вважаючи безпечнішою акваторією, ніж Чорне море”, – сказав він.
За словами речника, для безпеки росіяни почали розміщувати свої кораблі в Азовському морі замість Чорного.
„Тим не менш, цей факт теж є неприємним, тому що вони вирішили, що можуть використовувати Азов, в тому числі для розміщення своїх кораблів і застосування. Але, звісно, забувають вони, мабуть, що Азов теж досить недалеко від нас знаходиться”, – додав Плетенчук.
Як зазначив речник ВМС, в акваторії Чорного моря знаходиться один підводний човен, він може мати на борту до чотирьох крилатих ракет. Три ракетоносії знаходяться в Азовському морі, на їх борту може бути до 20 ракет.

За словами Андрющенка, в акваторії моря маріупольці фіксують початок мору риби. Зокрема, дельфінів.
«Такі явища притаманні Азову в період аномальної спеки в липні. З урахуванням температури та сезону початок мору риби може свідчити лише про наявність хвороби в морській воді. Море на сьогодні одне з небагатьох місць гігієни для маріупольців, тому загроза перестала бути лише попередженням», ‒ зазначив він.
