Lelőttek a rendőrök egy férfit, aki fegyverrel próbált behatolni a Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda (FBI) területi irodájába Cincinnatiban, Ohio államban csütörtökön.
Az elkövető délelőtt próbált bejutni az FBI létesítményébe. Amikor ez meghiúsult, elmenekült. A rendőrök autóval vették üldözőbe, a férfi rálőtt a kivonuló járőrökre.
Ohio állam autópálya-rendőrsége közölte, hogy a támadóval később megpróbáltak tárgyalni. Amikor hatórányi patthelyzet után megkísérelték őrizetbe venni, a férfi fegyvert emelt a rendőrökre, akik lelőtték.
A támadó szándéka egyelőre nem ismert, az FBI a közösségi médiában olvasható bejegyzéseit vizsgálja, hogy tett-e utalást az erőszakos fellépésre a hatóság ellen.
