Az Egyesült Királyság legnagyobb városaiban hatalmas tüntetéssorozat alakult ki, miután a kormány új rendelete értelmében a demonstrációkat keményebb eszközökkel oszlathatja szét a rendőrség. A tüntetéseket a pandémia kitörése óta nem lehetett megrendezni az Egyesült Királyságban, a járványhelyzet javulása és a korlátozások ideiglenes feloldása után azonban egyre többen vonultak ki az utcákra és terekre, kifejezvén nemtetszésüket a mindenkori kormánnyal szemben.
