A vihar nemcsak fákat csavart ki, de lehetetlenné tette a közlekedést is sok helyen, kamionokat döntött fel, autókat sodort le az útról, házakat rongált meg súlyosan.
Egy Németországba tartó hajó eltűnt, jelenleg is keresik.
Lengyelországban legalább egymillió háztartás van elektromos áram nélkül, míg Németországban a vasúti közlekedést akadályozza, hogy több, mint ezer kilométernyi vasúti pálya rongálódott meg a Deutsche Bahn közlése szerint.
A légiközlekedést is akadályozza a vihar, több száz járatot töröltek, többek között London és Amszterdam nemzetközi repülőterein is.
