A kijevi önkormányzat közölte, hogy pénteken azonnali hatállyal ki kellett üríteni két kórházat (köztük egy gyermekkórházat is), mivel orosz légitámadás veszélyének voltak kitéve.
Vitalij Klicsko polgármester közzé is tett egy videót a közösségi oldalán, amelyen a kórházak kiürítése volt látható.
A két kórház a főváros északi részén lévő Obolon városrészben található. Az önkormányzat hivatkozási alapként egy videót idézett, amely a közösségi médiában terjedt, és amelyből úgy tűnt, hogy „ténylegesen támadást jelentettek be ezen egészségügyi létesítmények ellen”. A közigazgatás szerint a videóban hamisan azt állítják, hogy a kórházakban katonai személyzet található.
Az önkormányzat közleményében valószínűleg arra a videóra utaltak, amelyben Ivan Tertel belorusz biztonsági főnök beszélt egy április 25-i politikai rendezvényen. A tisztviselő felszólalásában „a kijevi kórházakban bujkáló terroristákra” hivatkozott, majd konkrétan megnevezte azt a két kórházat, amelyet utóbb ki kellett üríteni.
Az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) „az Oroszország kezére játszó pszichológiai műveletek megnyilvánulásának” nevezte Tertel állításait – számolt be a The Kyiv Independent.

Robbanás történt és tűz ütött ki kedd este a bukaresti Nicolae Robanescu gyermekkórház udvarán, senki sem sérült meg.
A kórházban ápolt 110 pácienst, a hozzátartozókat és a kórház személyzetét evakuálták, és az éjszaka folyamán áthelyezik őket a közelben lévő Marie Curie gyermekkórházba.
A tűzoltók szerint egy újonnan beszerelt transzformátor robbant fel helyi idő szerint 22 óra körül, a kicsapó lángok pedig átterjedtek a kórház udvarán parkoló két személygépkocsira. A távolról látható füstöt okozó több méteres lángok lokalizálása és eloltása csaknem egy órát vett igénybe. Szemtanúk elmondása szerint a robbanás egyórás áramszünet után következett be, amikor a szolgáltató visszakapcsolta az áramot.

Romániában a koronavírus-járvány idején, 2020–21-ben egyetlen év alatt öt alkalommal ütött ki tragikus kimenetelű tűz az ország különböző kórházaiban, amelyek 26 ember halálát okozták. Mint utóbb kiderült, szinte minden esetben az improvizált, szakszerűtlenül beszerelt, vagy túlterhelt elektromos berendezéseknél keletkezett a tűz.
Bukarestre harmadfokú (vörös) hőségriadót adott ki a meteorológiai intézet a 40 fokot meghaladó csúcshőmérsékletek miatt. A kétmilliós városban gyakoriak az áramkimaradások, mert az elektromos hálózat nem győzi a légkondicionáló berendezések okozta terhelést.

Tűz volt a santiagói San Borja Arrarian kórház gyermek- és csecsemőosztályán, ahová hatalmas erőkkel vonultak ki a chilei tűzoltók szombaton – számolt be a Pledge Times hírportál alapján az Origo.
A santiagói ötemeletes egészségügyi intézetből, ahol főleg koronavírusos betegeket ápoltak, reggel 7-kor érkezett a segélyhívás arról, hogy tűz ütött ki a 3-ik emeleten található intenzív gyermekosztályon.
Perceken belül legalább ötven tűzoltó érkezett a kórházhoz több tucat tűzoltósági járművel, majd nem sokkal később a helyszínre vezényeltek száz katonát is, hogy segítsék a kórház betegeinek evakuálását.
A lángokat szombat délutánra sikerült megfékezni, és az eddigi médiajelentések szerint nem tudnak áldozatokról és sérültekről.
A mentési folyamatok irányításába a helyszínen beszállt maga a chilei egészségügyi miniszter is. Enrique Paris elmondta, ő is úgy tudja, hogy sikerült mindenkit időben és épségben kihozni a kórházból.
A szakértők még vizsgálják, hogy mi okozhatta a hatalmas kórháztüzet, amelynek füstjét több kilométeres távolságból is látni lehetett a chilei fővárosban. A médiában is csak találgatások láttak napvilágot, ahol leginkább valamilyen műszaki berendezés meghibásodására, rövidzárlatra gyanakszanak.
