Három ember vesztette életét hétfőn egy helikopter-balesetben az Egyesült Királyságban – írja a The Guardian. A hatóságok lezárták a helyszínt, és arra kérték a lakosságot, hogy kerüljék el a területet.
Egy tragikus helikopter-baleset rázta meg hétfő reggel a La Manche-csatornában található Wight-szigetet: egy Robinson R44 II típusú gép lezuhant Shanklin közelében egy mezőn, egy repülőóra alatt.

A fedélzeten a pilótán kívül három fő tartózkodott, akik közül hárman életüket vesztették, egy személy pedig súlyos sérülésekkel szállították kórházba.
A helikopter – lajstromjele G‑OCLV – mintegy 9:00 körül szállt fel a közeli Sandown reptérről, és alig húsz perccel később, körülbelül 9:20 körül zuhant le a Shanklin Roadhoz közeli mezőben. Egy szemtanú, Leigh Goldsmith elmondása szerint a jármű spirálszerű mozgás után csapódott a sövénybe.
A mentőszolgálatok azonnal a helyszínre indultak: tűzoltók, légimentők, valamint további szárazföldi sürgősségi mentőcsapatok, a sérültet pedig a Southamptoni Egyetem kórházában látták el.
A rendőrség és a helyi hatóságok nem közölték az áldozatok személyazonosságát, mivel családjaikat még nem értesítették, ugyanakkor helyszíni lezárásokat rendeltek el és arra kérték a lakosságot, hogy kerüljék a környéket.
A brit légi balesetek vizsgálatát végző szervezet, az Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) szakértői csoporttal helyszínre sietett, hogy megkezdje a kivizsgálást. A baleset oka egyelőre ismeretlen. A repülésbiztonság szempontjából ez a tragédia ismét figyelmeztetéssel szolgál: a pilótaképzés kivitelezése során még rutinszerűnek tűnő helyzetek is tragédiába torkollhatnak. A Mi–8-as helikopter, amely 2025. július 14-én helyi idő szerint 19:00-kor kellett volna megérkezzen Magadanba Ohotszkból, összetört a Habarovszki területen található egyik hegyoldalban. A gép majdnem két napig volt kapcsolat nélkül, míg végül a roncsokat július 16-án megtalálták.
Az orosz állami hírügynökség, az RBC jelentése szerint a balesetben az ötfőnyi személyzet – három pilóta és két technikus – életét vesztette.
A pilóta nem jelezte az útvonal eltérését, bár a helikopter körülbelül 60 km-rel eltért az indulási ponttól. Az esti órákban megszakadt a kapcsolat a helikopterrel.
Az orosz Nyomozó Bizottság büntetőeljárást indított a repülésbiztonsági szabályok megsértése miatt, amely halált okozott két vagy több személy esetében. A tragédia körülményeit tovább vizsgálják.

India északi határánál, a Himalájában lezuhant egy hindu zarándokokat szállító helikopter, a balesetben mind a hét utas életét vesztette – közölte vasárnap az AFP hírügynökséggel a mentőalakulatok szóvivője.
A helikopterben hindu zarándokok ültek, akik egy 3500 méter magasan fekvő templomból tartottak hazafelé. Nyáron ugyanis zarándokok özönlenek a Himalájában található Kedarnath-templomba, mert csak akkor lehet megközelíteni a 3584 méter magasan fekvő szentélyt.
A tehetősebb zarándokok gyakorta helikopterrel teszik meg az utat, hogy elkerüljék a fárasztó gyalogos mászást.
Gyakoriak a balesetek, a múlt hónapban is hat ember vesztette életét egy helikopter-szerencsétlenségben, amikor a templomhoz tartottak. A mostani baleset valószínű oka a rossz időjárás volt, mondta Rahul Chaubey, a Tibettel határos észak-indiai Uttarakhand állambeli hatóságok képviselője. Az áldozatok között van egy kisgyermek is.
Indiában pár nappal ezelőtt egy ennél jóval súlyosabb légikatasztrófa is történt: csütörtökön az Air India Boeing 787-8/9 típusú repülőgépe a nyugat-indiai Ahmadábád közelében csapódott be lakott területen. A gépen lévő 242 emberből csak egy élte túl a katasztrófát. A hatóságok legfrissebb összesítése szerint 270-en vesztették életüket a légikatasztrófa miatt.

A Sri Lanka-i légierő (SLAF) számolt be a tragikus incidensről, melynek több áldozata is van, katonák az elhunytak.
Egyelőre annyit tudni, hogy egy katonai helikopter csapódott be, miközben kényszerleszállást próbált végrehajtani egy meghibásodás miatt. Összesen tizenkét fő volt a fedélzeten, akik közül hatan olyan súlyosan megsérültek, hogy már nem lehetett rajtuk segíteni.
Az Adaderana arról számolt be, hogy a hadseregtől és a légierőtől is hatan tartózkodtak a gépen, köztük a két pilótával. „A Hingurakgodában állomásozó SLAF 07. század helikoptere reggel szállt fel a helyi légibázisról, feladata pedig az volt, hogy elszállítsa a katonákat, a különleges erők búcsúfelvonulásán tartott bemutatójukra a Maduru Oya hadseregképző iskolába.” – írja a Magyar Nemzet a cikkében.
Egy kötéllel való ereszkedés bemutatója közben lépett fel a technikai probléma, ami kényszerleszállásra kényszerítette a pilótákat. Mindez nem sokkal a felszállást követően történt, majd egy víztározónak ütköztek, ami végzetesnek bizonyult.
Ugyan mind a tizenkét személyt kimentették és kórházba szállították, hat katona belehalt a sérüléseibe. Úgy tudni, hogy négyen a hadsereg különleges erőinek tagjai voltak, míg ketten a légierőnél szolgáltak.

A Bell 212 típusú helikopteren összesen 12-en utaztak, amikor az ország keleti részén lévő Maduru Oja nemzeti parkban lezuhant. A tájékoztatás szerint a tragédiát feltehetően műszaki hiba okozta.
Néhány héttel ezelőtt a hadsereg egy másik repülőgépe is lezuhant az ország középső részén.

Lezuhant egy helikopter New York közelében, helyi idő szerint csütörtök délután. A fedélzeten tartózkodó, turistaként érkező spanyol család és a pilóta is életét vesztette a balesetben, miután a légijármű a Hudson folyóba zuhant – írta meg az Associated Press.
A baleset délután 3:17-kor történt, a new jersey-i partvidék közelében, a hobokeni Pier A Parknál. A Hudson folyóba zuhanó helikoptert több szemtanú is észlelte, akik riasztották a helyi hatóságokat hatóságokhoz. Jessica Tisch, a New York-i rendőrség biztosa elmondta, hogy a helyszínre érkező rendőrök négy embert húztak ki a vízből, míg a tűzoltóság további két személyt mentett ki.
A helikopter délután 2:59-kor szállt fel New York belvárosából, ahonnan dél felé repült, majd észak felé fordult Manhattan partja mentén, fel a Hudson folyón. 3:08-kor érte el a George Washington hidat, majd dél felé fordult New Jersey partja mentén, ahol nem sokkal később elvesztette az irányítást, közölte Tisch.
Eric Adams, New York polgármestere a csütörtöki sajtótájékoztatón közölte, hogy az áldozatok között volt Agustín Escobar, a Siemens egyik vezetője és családja, akik Spanyolországból érkeztek látogatóba az országba.
Donald Trump elnök a Truth Social közösségi platformon fejezte ki részvétét az esettel kapcsolatban, és közölte, hogy Sean Duffy közlekedési miniszter kivizsgálja az esetet. Pedro Sánchez spanyol miniszterelnök „elképzelhetetlen tragédiának” nevezte az esetet az X-en közzétett bejegyzésében.

Egy helikopter egy rádiótoronyba csapódott vasárnap este a texasi Houstonban, a hatóságok szerint több ember, köztük egy gyermek a balesetben meghalt.
A houstoni tűzoltóság szerint az eset a város Greater East End negyedében történt helyi idő szerint este 7 óra 54 perckor. Egyelőre nem világos, hogy a magánhelikopter négy emberrel a fedélzetén a toronyból jövő kábelnek ütközhetett-e, vagy ténylegesen a toronyba csapódott – mondta el sajtótájékoztatón a houstoni rendőrfőnök.
Egyelőre nem tudni pontos adatokat a halottak számát illetően, és a gyerek korát sem hozták nyilvánosságra – írja a Fox News.
A tűzoltók szerint lángok csaptak fel egy füves területen, miután a rádiótorony összeomlott. A földön más építményt nem érintett a baleset.
Houston polgármestere szerint az eset „tragikus”, de „szerencse, hogy nem történt rosszabb”, mivel a helyszín közelében több ház és egy gáztartály is található.
A polgármester elmondta, hogy a helyszín közelében élő lakosoknál némi áramkimaradás volt, de hogy hány embert érint, és mennyi ideig lesz áramkimaradás, azt nem lehetett azonnal tudni.
Néhány lakó a The New York Timesnak elmondta, hogy a becsapódás során megrázkódott az otthonuk, és olyan érzés volt, mintha földrengés lett volna. Az egyik lakó azt mondta, hogy ezután robbanás történt, és az otthonában a lámpák villogtak.

Kiképzőrepülés közben zuhant le egy Mi–2-es helikopter a Harkivi Nemzeti Légierőegyetem Ivan Kozsedubról elnevezett kiképző repülési csapatában. Erről az egyetem sajtószolgálata számolt be szeptember 1-jén, vasárnap.
„Visszafordíthatatlan veszteséget szenvedett az egyetem családja – meghalt a repülőgép két főből álló személyzete… Részvétünket fejezzük ki az elhunytak hozzátartozóinak, családjának” – áll a jelentésben.
Az egyetem és a katonai egység parancsnoksága átfogóan hozzájárul a légiközlekedési baleset okainak részletes elemzéséhez és feltárásához.
