Egy 33 éves férfi gyalogosan próbált Szlovákiába jutni, és a határellenőrzésnél szaúd-arábiai útlevelet mutatott fel. Az illetékesek azonban gyanút fogtak a dokumentum valódiságát illetően – nem alaptalanul, hiszen az útlevél hamisnak bizonyult.
A férfi külföldinek adta ki magát, és csak angolul beszélt. Amikor azonban rájött, hogy lelepleződött, ukránul kezdett beszélni, és ukrán útlevelet vett elő. A férfi 100 ezer hrivnya kenőpénzt is felajánlott a határőröknek. Azt mondta, hogy a pénzt átutalja az ellenőr kártyájára.
A határőr azonban ezt elutasította, és jelentette a vezetőségnek. Kihívták a rendőrséget az ellenőrzőpontra. Később a vétkes beismerte, hogy eredetileg Lembergből származik, és Belgiumba akart menni, ahol jelenleg rokonai élnek.
A férfinak Szaúd-Arábiából küldték a hamis útlevelet, ahonnan az apja származik. Egy ilyen „vásárlás” 550 dollárjába került. Természetesen a férfitól megtagadták a külföldi utazási engedélyt. A lembergi lakosnak az Országos Rendőrség operatív nyomozócsoportjának kíséretében kellett elhagynia az ellenőrző pontot – jelentette az Ukrán Állami Határőrség Nyugati Regionális Osztálya.

November 29-én 22:39-kor egy 14 éves fiú hívta a rendőrséget az ungvári járási Kisbereznáról. A fiú elmondta, hogy a szobában a földön találta meg nagyapja holttestét, de pontosan nem tudta elmagyarázni, mi történt.
A bejelentést követően azonnal elindult a helyszínre a rendőrség nyomozó csoportja. A házban, a szoba közepén a rendőrök három ember holttestét találták: a bejelentő 32 éves édesanyját, 55 éves nagymamáját és 70 éves nagyapját.
Az elsődleges vizsgálatok során a rendőrség megállapította, hogy az este folyamán az áldozatok alkoholt fogyasztottak. A vacsora közben a 32 éves helybeli nő egy ismeretlen eredetű kézigránátot vett a kezébe, és eltávolította annak biztosítószerkezetét, ami robbanást okozott. A szobában tartózkodó három személy életét vesztette.
A rendőrök a házban további három gránátot találtak elrejtve, amelyeket lefoglaltak.
Az ügyben tartanak a vizsgálatok.

A 36 éves dnyiprói lakos gyalogosan szeretett volna átkelni Szlovákia területére, az okmánykezelő munkatársnak három születési anyakönyvi kivonatot mutatott fel, melyekkel a hatályos jogszabályok értelmében elhagyhatja az ország területét a hadiállapot ideje alatt.
Azonban a dokumentumok alaposabb vizsgálata során kiderült, hogy azok hamisak, s a férfi is bevallotta, hogy 1500 dollárért vásárolta őket. Ekkor próbált meg felajánlani a határátkelő munkatársának 1881 dollárt.
Az illetékesek azonnal értesítették a Nemzeti Rendőrséget, akik letartóztatták a hadköteles férfit és büntetőeljárást indítottak ellene.
