Kóbor kutya mart halálra egy hatéves kisfiút Romániában, miközben a család háza előtt, az utcán játszott – közölte hétfőn a Konstanca megyei rendőrség.
A tragédia Dobrudzsa déli részén, a bolgár határtól néhány kilométernyire található Cotu Vaii faluban történt. A segélyhívás nyomán helyszínre érkező mentősöknek nem sikerült újraéleszteniük az áldozatot. Az ügyben gondatlanságból elkövetett emberölés gyanújával ismeretlen tettes ellen indult bűnvádi eljárás.
A Digi 24 hírtelevízió felidézte, hogy októberben ugyancsak Konstanca megyében, a tengerparti Mangalia városában szintén kutyaharapás okozta egy 3 éves gyerek halálát: őt a család kutyája sebesítette halálra.
Romániában 2013-ban azt követően fogadták el a gazdátlan ebek elaltatását szabályozó törvényt, hogy Bukarestben kóbor kutyák marcangoltak halálra egy park melletti elhagyott telken játszó négyéves gyereket. A következő másfél évben több mint 26 ezer kóbor kutyát altattak el a román fővárosban, 23 ezret pedig örökbe fogadtak. A jogszabály szerint a hatóságok elaltathatják azokat a kóbor kutyákat, amelyeket a begyűjtésüktől számított tizennégy napig senki nem fogad örökbe.
A nagy médiavisszhangot keltő 2013-as eset után gondatlanságból elkövetett emberölésért három év felfüggesztett börtönbüntetésre ítélték azt a telektulajdonost, akinek a területén kóbor kutyák áldozatául esett a négyéves kisfiú.
