Інститут Роберта Коха (RKI) – німецьке агентство з контролю за захворюваннями – оголосило про перший виявлений в країні випадок зараження новим варіантом мавпячої віспи (mpox), який став поширюватись улітку цього року.
Про це повідомляє „Європейська правда” з посиланням на DW.
У повідомленні RKI йдеться, що попри виявлення вірусу мавпячої віспи ризику його більшого поширення наразі немає, але інститут „дуже уважно стежить за ситуацією і в разі необхідності адаптує свої рекомендації”.
В Інституті Роберта Коха не надали жодної додаткової інформації про те, коли і в кого сталося перше інфікування.
У серпні Всесвітня організація охорони здоров’я (ВООЗ) вдруге за два роки оголосила mpox глобальною надзвичайною ситуацією в галузі охорони здоров’я. Це сталося після поширення його спалаху з Демократичної Республіки Конго на сусідні країни.
Перший випадок захворювання на новий варіант мавпячої віспи межами африканського континенту був підтверджений у Швеції в середині серпня.
Симптоми віспи охоплюють висип, а також можливе підвищення температури, головний біль і біль у м’язах. Летальні випадки трапляються рідко, особливо в країнах з хорошою системою охорони здоров’я.

За даними Міністерства охорони здоров’я Таїланду, пацієнтом, чий тест на штам Clade Ib виявився позитивним, є 66-річний європеєць, який прибув до Бангкока минулого тижня з Африки, котрого госпіталізували з симптомами мавпячої віспи 15 серпня.
Медики також встановили 43 осіб, які близько контактували з хворим, і на 21 день помістили їх під нагляд. Якщо впродовж цього періоду у когось із них з’явиться лихоманка, висип чи збільшаться лімфатичні вузли, таку людину госпіталізують до лікарні.
Таїланд, який залежить від туризму, посилив заходи спостереження та перевірки на всіх пунктах в’їзду у країну та зобов’язав усіх мандрівників із 42-х країн, де зафіксовано спалах мавпячої віспи, перед поїздкою до Таїланду реєструватися в спеціальному онлайн-додатку МОЗ та проходити медичне обстеження після прибуття.

Шведські органи охорони здоров’я оголосили про перший європейський випадок захворювання на вірус віспи мавп Clade 1b.
За даними Шведського агентства громадської охорони здоров’я, пацієнт привіз до Швеції з Африки новий, більш важкий варіант вірусу мавпячої віспи (мпокс). Це перший випадок, коли варіант Clade 1b був виявлений в Європі.
Олівія Вігзелл, директор агентства, повідомила, що інфікована людина перебувала в африканській країні, де нещодавно трапився великий спалах віспи. Пацієнт звернувся по медичну допомогу в столичному регіоні, але Вігцелл підкреслила, що хвороба не становить великої загрози для населення Стокгольма.
Вірус віспи давно відомий у тропічних лісах Центральної та Західної Африки, де щорічно реєструються тисячі випадків захворювання. Два роки тому спалах на континенті спричинив більш м’який варіант вірусу, Clade 2, але цьогорічний спалах пов’язаний з більш небезпечним варіантом Clade 1b, який розпочався в Демократичній Республіці Конго і, за офіційними даними, вже забрав 450 життів.
Новий варіант виявився більш смертоносним, ніж попередній
Новий варіант має набагато вищий рівень смертності: за оцінками, 4 з кожних 100 випадків інфікування закінчуються летально. Вірус передається переважно при тісному контакті, в основному через пошкодження шкіри, але можливий і респіраторний шлях передачі. Симптоми включають скарги, подібні до грипу, і характерний висип.
Хвороба уже поширилася з Конго на кілька сусідніх країн, в тому числі на Бурунді, Кенію і Руанду. Цього року було зареєстровано понад 14 000 підозрюваних випадків захворювання і понад 500 смертей, 96% з яких сталися протягом останнього місяця.
Всесвітня організація охорони здоров’я (ВООЗ) оголосила надзвичайну ситуацію в галузі охорони здоров’я незадовго до шведської декларації через новий спалах.

Всесвітня організація охорони здоров’я вдруге за останні два роки оголосила віспу мавп глобальною надзвичайною ситуацією після спалаху захворюваності в Демократичній Республіці Конго та поширення хвороби на сусідні країни. Про це повідомляє BBC.
Зазначається, що збудник віспи передається при тісному контакті з інфікованим. Зазвичай хвороба протікає в легкій формі, але в деяких випадках по тілу зараженого починають поширюватися гнійні ураження, в результаті призводячи до смерті.
Спалах визнаний „надзвичайною ситуацією в галузі охорони здоров’я, що має міжнародне значення” (PHEIC) – це найвищий рівень тривоги,
– йдеться у повідомленні.
Подібні оголошення допомагають прискорити пошук ліків та забезпечити фінансування глобальних заходів у галузі охорони здоров’я, щоб максимально локалізувати інфекцію.
Останній спалах породив новий різновид патогену, який легше поширюється через будь-який фізичний контакт, у тому числі статевим шляхом.
Цілком очевидно, що для того, щоб зупинити спалах і врятувати життя людей, необхідні заходи реагування, скоординовані на міжнародному рівні,
– наголосив глава ВООЗ Тедрос Гебреїсус.
З початку року в 13 африканських країнах було зареєстровано загалом близько 17 тисяч випадків підозри на зараження віспою мавп та 517 смертей. Це у 2,5 рази більше, ніж за аналогічний період минулого року.

4 липня Китай повідомив про випадок захворювання на мавпячу віспу в місті Шеньян на північному сході провінції Ляонін. За даними китайського видання Global Times, місцева влада заявила, що пацієнт перебуває в лікарні.
Мавпяча віспа передається при контакті з інфікованою людиною, твариною або матеріалом, зараженим вірусом. За даними ВООЗ, хвороба часто супроводжується підвищенням температури, збільшенням лімфатичних вузлів, болем у спині та м’язах, згодом з’являється висип на шкірі.
Із січня 2022-го у світі було зареєстровано 87 377 випадків захворювання та 140 смертей через недугу.
Минулого року ВООЗ перейменувала мавпячу віспу на mpox, аргументуючи тим, що назва хвороби – расистська і стигматизуюча.

Як заявили в мінохорони здоров’я США, цей крок має на меті прискорити розповсюдження вакцини проти цього захворювання, передає власний кореспондент Укрінформу.
За даними Центрів контролю та профілактики захворювань, від першого офіційного випадку виявлення мавпячої віспи в США вірусом у країні заразилися понад 6,6 тисячі людей. Це найбільша кількість зареєстрованих випадків у світі.
У зв’язку із таким розвитком подій уряд США неодноразово піддавався критиці із закликами докласти більших зусиль для зменшення динаміки захворюваності. У окремих американських штатах, таких як Нью-Йорк, Іллінойс, Сан-Франциско надзвичайна ситуація була введена раніше.

Міністерство охорони здоров’я Іспанії повідомило, що станом на суботу на території країни зафіксовано вже два летальні випадки серед пацієнтів, які заразилися віспою мавп.
Інформацію про першого померлого опублікували напередодні.
Йдеться про перші підтверджені випадки смертей внаслідок зараження віспою мавп в Європі. Раніше повідомлялося про п’ять летальних випадків в країнах Африки і про один у Бразилії.
Згідно з даними Національної мережі епідеміологічного нагляду Іспанії на 29 липня, в країні виявлено 4298 підтверджених випадків зараження віспою мавп, 120 пацієнтів госпіталізовані.
Віспа мавп – рідкісне інфекційне захворювання, найбільш поширене у віддалених районах Центральної та Західної Африки. Його симптоми – нудота, температура, висип, свербіж, а також біль у м’язах.
