Szeptember 19-én kijevi idő szerint 20 óra körül hívást kaptak a járőrök egy Munkácson történt közlekedési baleset miatt.
Az eset helyszínén, a Hrusevszkij utcában a bejelentő beszámolt arról, hogy Citroen típusú személygépkocsijával reggel 7 óra körül leparkolt, majd 20 óra körül a bal tükör és az első lökhárító fényezésének sérülését észlelte.
A rendőrség arra kér mindenkit, aki szemtanúja volt az autóbalesetnek, hogy hívja a 102-es telefonszámot.

A baleset augusztus 16-én történt az M-06-os autóúton, a munkácsi járási Kisanna közelében, kijevi idő szerint 13 óra magasságában.
Mint kiderült, egy Scania típusú kamion Lembergből tartott Ungvár irányába, s ekkor ütközött össze a szembejövő sávban haladó tehergépkocsival, amely nem tartotta be a közlekedési szabályokat.
A balesetet okozó sofőr nem állt meg, elmenekült a helyszínről. A hatóságok arra kérik a lakosságot, hogy aki szemtaúja volt az esetnek, azonnal hívja a 102-es telefonszámot.
