Az olasz főváros prefektusa egészen hétfőig betiltott minden köztéri megmozdulást a koronavírus-járvány miatti korlátozó intézkedések ellen, a kanadai példa alapján szerveződő olasz szabadságkonvoj elnevezésű mozgalom hétvégére tervezett tüntetéseinek leállítására.
A demonstrációk tiltása Róma egész területére és a főváros környékére is érvényes, közbiztonsági okok miatt.
Matteo Piantedosi prefektus indoklása szerint a tüntetők azt tervezték, hogy a Rómától kevesebb, mint húsz kilométerre fekvő magaslaton készülnek „bázist” szervezni, majd innen vonulnának járműveikkel a fővárosba.
A hatóságok az információkat a közösségi oldalakon gyűjtik be, melyeken az Olasz Szabadságkonvoj nevű mozgalom már több tízezer tagot számlál. Vannak közöttük oltásellenesek, valamint szélsőséges bal- és jobboldali csoportok.
Az internetes bejegyzések szerint a szervezők a többi között az oltásellenesek „kiképzését” tervezték „ellenállásra”, továbbá létre akartak hozni „nemzeti felszabadító polgári hadsereget” is.
A Rómába vezető országutakon és az autósztráda bejárati kapuinál megerősítették a biztonsági ellenőrzést a rendőrség, csendőrség, pénzügyőrség bevonásával.
Kanadában a koronavírus megfékezését célzó intézkedések és a védőoltással kapcsolatos szabályozás elleni tüntetések alig több mint egy hete több száz teherautóból álló konvojjal kezdődtek. A sofőrök a január közepén bevezetett rendelkezés ellen tiltakoznak, amely arra kötelezi őket, hogy beadassák a koronavírus elleni oltást, ha az Egyesült Államokba vagy onnan kellene árut szállítaniuk.
Olaszországban a fuvarozók országos szövetsége (Unatras) az üzemanyag-drágulás miatt készül megmozdulásra, ha a kormánnyal jövő hétre kért egyeztetés eredménytelenül zárulna. A kamionosok már körbezárták Közép-Olaszország legnagyobb nagykereskedelmi zöldség-gyümölcs elosztópontját, amelyen keresztül a termékek délről északra haladnak.

Olaszországban február 1-jétől kötelező az 50 év felettiek Covid elleni beoltása. Mindenki, aki még nem vette fel a koronavírus elleni védőoltás legalább egy adagját, kivéve azokat a polgárokat, akik egészségügyi okokból mentesülnek az oltás alól, egyszeri, 100 eurós pénzbírsággal sújtható.
Február 15-től az 50 év felettieknek számára kötelező a Green Pass (Covid-tanúsítvány) bemutatása ahhoz, hogy bemehessen a munkahelyére. A Zöld tanúsítvánnyal nem rendelkezőket felmentik tisztségükből, felfüggesztik bérüket, de nem vonhatóak fegyelmi eljárás alá. Aki igazolás nélkül vette fel a munkát, 600 és 1500 euró közötti pénzbírsággal sújtják. Ismételt szabálysértés esetén a bírság megduplázódik.

A római egészségügyi tárca rendelkezése az egymással szomszédos északnyugat-olaszországi tartomány száztizennégy önkormányzatának területét érinti. Még az erdőkben való kerékpározás is tiltólistára került.
A rendelkezés hat hónapig érvényes.Az afrikai sertéspestist (ASP) egy közúton elgázolt vaddisznó tetemében azonosították Piemontban. Gócpontnak a liguriai Genova és Savona közötti térséget tartják, ahol ezidáig nyolc vaddisznó tetemet találtak.
A hegyi közösségeket tömörítő Uncem szervezete, mely az ország területének több mint felét, és a hatvan millióból több mint tíz millió lakost képvisel, azonnali egyeztetést sürgetett a kormánnyal hangsúlyozva, hogy két régió „büntetése” nem oldja meg a problémát. Az Uncem aggodalmát fejezte ki hangsúlyozva, hogy a betegség a két legnagyobb sertéstenyésztő tartományra, Lombardiára és Emilia-Romagnára is átterjedhet.
A sertéspestis eseteit azonosító torinói állategészségügyi kutatóintézet a HuffingtonPost.it oldalán emlékeztetett, hogy az ASP kétszázötvenezer olaszországi sertéstenyészet munkáját sodorja veszélybe, melyek évi két milliárd euró forgalmat érnek el. A kutatóintézet munkatársa, Maria Caramelli többek között a vaddisznó állomány korábbi szaporítását tette felelőssé, ami „hibrid” állatokhoz vezetett: sokkal nagyobbak és termékenyebbek mint negyven évvel ezelőtti elődeik. A Coldiretti termelői szövetség adatai szerint az állatok száma elérte a 2,3 milliót.
Az afrikai sertéspestis vírus okozta fertőző betegség, amely Európában a házisertés- és a vaddisznóállományban pusztít. A megbetegedett állatok majdnem kivétel nélkül elpusztulnak, de az emberre nem jelent egészségügyi kockázatot.

Csúcsára érkezhetett a koronavírus-járvány Olaszországban, ahol az esetek 80%-áért felelős az omikron-variáns – számol be a Hír tv.
A súlyos esetek továbbra is az oltatlanok körében a jellemzők, ám úgy tűnik, ez az oltásszkeptikusok ennek ellenére megpróbálják elkerülni az oltást: több egészségügyi dolgozó bukott le csalással.
Ancona környékén öt embert vettek őrizetbe, akik közreműködtek abban, hogy a be nem adott oltások után is kiadják az igazolásokat. Több más helyen is orvosok, nővérek közreműködtek a csalásban. A „levegőbe oltott” vakcinákért, és a kiadott igazolásokért 30-160 ezer forintot kértek esetenként.
Eközben a csúcsára érkezhetett az új fertőzöttek száma az országban, de a szakértők szerint a halálozások száma akár még két hétig emelkedhet. Eközben az oltakozási aktivitás is nő: az 50 év felettiek kötelező oltásáról szóló rendelkezés a tudósítás szerint egy oltóponton 30%-kal növelte a naponta beadott oltások számát.

Két észak-afrikai származású olasz állampolgárt őrizetbe vettek a szilveszter éjszaka a milánói Dóm-téren elkövetett szexuális támadás tucatnyi gyanúsítottja közül, mivel fennállt a külföldre szökésük veszélye – közölte a milánói ügyészség szerdán.
A hatósági közlés szerint a 2000-ben és 2003-ban született két fiatalember letartóztatása után megjelent a milánói bíróság előtt, amely megerősítette őrizetbe vételüket. Észak-afrikai bevándorló családban született, olasz állampolgárokról van szó, egyikük Milánóban, a másikuk Torinóban él. A december 31-én éjszaka elkövetett csoportos szexuális támadások közül kettőben is részt vettek. Rendőrségi források szerint a két fiatalt „súlyos felelősség terheli” a nőkkel szembeni nemi agressziókban. Az egyik férfi lakásán megtalálták azokat a ruhákat, amelyekben a szilveszterkor készült utcai videó-felvételek szerint rátámadt a nőkre.
A hatóságok azzal indokolták őrizetbe vételüket, hogy fennállt külföldre szökésük veszélye, mivel kiderült, hogy külföldi kapcsolatokkal rendelkeznek. A vizsgálatot irányító milánói ügyészség egész éjszaka folytatta az eddig jelentkezett kilenc áldozat meghallgatását.
A beszámolók szerint a milánói Dóm-téren és a környező utcákban elkövetett erőszakos cselekedetekkel ugyanazt a korábbról, más esetekből már ismert forgatókönyvet követték: a csoportba verődött fiatal férfiak közül néhányan először szóba elegyedtek a kiszemelt lánnyal, majd a többi férfi körbevette az áldozatot. Egyesek a lánynak háttal állva alkottak gyűrűt, eltakarva, mi történik, hogy kívülről ne lehessen semmit se látni.
A hatóságok kedden tizennyolc fiatal otthonában tartottak házkutatást Milánó és Torinó területén. Közülük tizenkét fiatallal szemben indult vizsgálat csoportos szexuális erőszak, súlyos testi sértés és rablás vádjával. Mindegyikük észak-afrikai származású, Marokkóból, Algériából és Tunéziából érkeztek Olaszországba, van közöttük olyan, aki már olasz állampolgársággal rendelkezik. A legfiatalabb 15, a legidősebb 21 éves.
A fiatalokat a közösségi oldalakon is közölt felvételek alapján, valamint az utcai hatósági térkamerák arcfelismerő programjai segítségével azonosították be.

Őrizetbe vettek egy ápolónőt Olaszországban, mert a gyanú szerint legalább 45 alkalommal csak eljátszotta, hogy beadja nekik a vakcinát az oltásra érkezett személynek. A gyanúsított kidobta a vakcinákat, és még kötszert is elhelyezett a „beoltottak” karján, hogy hitelesebbnek tűnjön az oltás.

A korábban luxusvárosként közismert Milánót bűntanyává változtatták a bevándorlók szilveszter éjjelén. Egyre gyakrabban számol be a sajtó illegális bevándorlók által elkövetett visszaélésekről, portyázásokról, szexuális erőszakról az észak-olasz nagyvárosban.
Sajtóközleményekből kiderül, hogy gátlástalan pokoli hangulat uralkodott szilveszter éjszakán Milánó főterén. Szexuális zaklatások színterévé vált az év utolsó éjszakáján a Dóm tér. Két német turistanőt vett körül egy harminc fős férficsoport, akik a molesztálás során arabul beszéltek. A turisták beszámolója szerint a helyszínen lévő rendőrök segélykérésük ellenére sem léptek közbe a zaklató csoport feloszlatására. Helyszíni kamerák felvételei tanúskodnak a jelenetről, ahogyan az erőszakos férfiak körbevették a két nőt, majd testüket tapogatták. Az egyikük a földre esett, de még akkor sem fejezték be a molesztálást.
Esélyünk sem volt a menekülésre, csak sírtunk és kétségbeesve kiabáltunk. Megpróbáltuk eltaszítani őket, de ők csak nevettek– számoltak be utólag a sokkoló eseményekről az áldozatok.
A milánói hatóságok mindeddig a szilveszter éjszakán elkövetett öt erőszakos zaklatásról tudnak, nem kizárt, hogy további feljelentések érkeznek. Az esetek kísértetiesen hasonlítanak a 2016-ban Kölnben elkövetett nemi erőszakhoz, melyet hasonlóan az óévet búcsúztató nők ellen követtek el. A Milánói rendőrség egy 19 éves lány esetében is nyomoz, akit a korábbiakhoz hasonlóan egy arabul beszélő csoport vet körül és bántalmazott a Dóm téren. Barátnőjének sikerült kimenekülnie a támadók gyűrűjéből, ő azonban egyedül maradt. Értéktárgyait és táskáját önként átadta a támadóknak, ők azonban tovább folytatták a molesztálást. A hatóságok beszámolója szerint egy megszaggatott ruhadarabokban, a félelemtől sokkos állapotba került lányt találtak az esetet követően a téren. Több hasonló bűncselekmény felkutatását végzik a hatóságok, helyszíni kamerák és a világhálón megosztott amatőr felvételek segítségével.

A patikákban reggel 8-tól este 10-ig végeznek koronavírus-tesztet, mégsem csökken a sorbanállók száma. Bár a pozitív tesztek aránya alacsony, és többnyire oltatlanok között fordul elő, a fertőzés gyors terjedése miatt az oltottak közül is sokan végeztetnek tesztet a biztonság kedvéért.
Azok az oltatlanok, akik elkapják a vírust, tíz napig kényszerülnek elszigetelődésre, és nem járnak jól, ha megszegik a karantént, ugyanis 18 hónapos elzárás is járhat büntetésül. Az oltatlanok az éttermek teraszára, sportlétesítményekbe és egyházi vagy más ceremóniákra sem léphetnek be január 10-től.
Az olasz kormány folyamatosan újabb szigorításokon dolgozik, hogy az oltatlanokat a vakcina felvételére motiválja, hamarosan munkavégzéshez is kötelező lehet az oltás, a lakosság többsége pedig egyetért a szigorú korlátozásokkal. Olaszországban mostanra a 12 év felettiek 89 százaléka vett fel két oltást, és egyre többen jelentkeznek a harmadikra is.

Kedd este köthet ki a szicíliai Augustában az Orvosok határok nélkül (Msf) szervezet hajója 558 illegális bevándorlóval a fedélzeten, ezzel több ezerre emelkedik az utóbbi napokban érkezettek száma a dél-olaszországi partokon.
A civil szervezet Geo Barents nevű hajója tizenegy napja várt kikötési engedélyre. Az afrikai partokról indult migránscsoportban 145 gyerek is van, 80 százalékuk felnőtt kíséret nélküli.
A Geo Barents a hatodik vízi jármű, amelyet az Msf a földközi-tengeri műveletekhez használ.
„Hol köthetne ki egy norvég hajó 558 illegális bevándorlóval? A belügyminisztérium adatai szerint január elsejétől több mint 66 ezren kötöttek ki az olaszországi partokon a tavalyi év ugyanezen időszakában mért több mint 34 ezerhez és a 2019-es több mint 11 ezerhez képest.
