Правоохоронці Румунії виявили й ліквідували лабораторію, у якій члени злочинного угруповання хімічним шляхом виділяли наркотичні речовини з, імовірно, легально завезених, але просочених кокаїном продуктів, зокрема кави.
Про результати спецоперації, проведеної в повіті Бігар, повідомило Агентство з розслідування організованої злочинності та тероризму (DIICOT). Суд виніс рішення про арешт п’ятьох підозрюваних – двох румунів, двох колумбійців та одного громадянина Ізраїлю.
За даними прокуратури, колумбійські члени злочинного угруповання 1 липня завезли до Європейського Союзу першу 6-кілограмову партію наркотиків, а інші учасники банди придбали хімікати й контейнери, необхідні для виділення кокаїну, та орендували будинок на околицях, де облаштували лабораторію.
Спецназівці застали членів угруповання під час того, як вони намагалися хімічним шляхом виділити кокаїн з меленої кави, просоченої ним. За оцінкою DIICOT, ринкова вартість наркотику, вилученого під час обшуку в будинку, становить 200 тисяч євро.

Повітряні сили Бразилії заявили про затримання літака за допомогою двох винищувачів A-26 Super Tucano після того, як з ним не вдалося встановити зв’язок. Контрабандисти втекли, їх розшук триває.
Як повідомляється, пілот одномоторного літака не відповідав по радіозв’язку і відмовився виконати наказ про посадку в аеропорту.
Відтак винищувачі здійснили кілька попереджувальних пострілів, після чого літак приземлився в сільській місцевості штату Сан-Паулу.
Правоохоронці здійснили обшук і виявили на борту 500 кг коксової пасти. Двоє контрабандистів, які були в літаку, втекли, їх розшук триває.

Поліція Чехії вилучила велику партію кокаїну, заховану серед бананів, доставлену до кількох супермаркетів, повідомили у п’ятницю поліція та місцеві ЗМІ.
„Сьогодні вдень працівники супермаркету виявили формовані кубики кокаїну в коробках з бананами”, – повідомила поліція у Twitter, де також були розміщені фотографії вилученого кокаїну.
„Інформація про постачання веде за межі Чеської Республіки, тому ми використовуватимемо міжнародне співробітництво поліції та правосуддя”, – сказали в поліції, не вдаючись у подробиці.
Чеське громадське телебачення повідомило, що було виявлено приблизно півтонни наркотику, вартість якого оцінюється в 1,5 мільярда крон (63,87 мільйона доларів).

Італійська фінансова поліція конфіскувала 4,3 тонни кокаїну в порту Трієст, що на північному заході країни.
Про це повідомляє ANSA.
Правоохоронці заявили, що це одна з найбільших вилучених у Європі партій наркотиків.
За версією слідства, злочинні угруповання сплатили за партію наркотиків близько 96 мільйонів євро, а від продажу кокаїну планували вторгувати близько 240 мільйонів євро.
Всього було проведено 38 обшуків, конфісковано близько двох мільйонів євро готівкою.

Місцева газета El Dia повідомляє, що поліція вилучила щонайменше дві тонни кокаїну загальною вартістю 50 мільйонів євро. Як заявив речник Національної гвардії Іспанії, наразі точна кількість наркотичних речовин установлюється.

Берегова охорона США вилучила тонни нелегальних наркотиків у четвер у Порт-Еверглейдсі, Форт-Лодердейлі, Південна Флорида. Операцію було здійснено в рамках однієї з найбільших акцій влади США, а берегова охорона заявила, що вартість вилучених наркотиків перевищує 1 мільярд доларів.
Загалом у вантажі було зафіксовано 24 720 кілограмів кокаїну та 7 166 кілограмів марихуани. Берегова охорона виявила вантаж, спостерігаючи за кораблем протягом останніх місяців; судно в кінцевому підсумку арештували у східній частині Тихого океану та Карибському морі, і, як повідомляється, значна частина наркотику прибула з Колумбії.
У рамках масштабної операції влада використовувала потужні дрони та спеціальні інфрачервоні камери, здатні полювати на підозрілі кораблі, – повідомляє RT.

В Аргентині щонайменше 17 людей померли після вживання кокаїну, який міг містити отруйну речовину. Ще 56 людей госпіталізовано, повідомляє Reuters у четвер, 3 лютого.
Випадки отруєння зафіксовані у кількох містах великої провінції Буенос-Айреса – Херлінгем, Сан-Мартін та Трес-де-Фебреро.
При цьому люди продовжують звертатися за медичною допомогою у вісім муніципалітетів провінції через токсичний кокаїн.
Правоохоронці затримали кількох людей, підозрюваних у продажу наркотиків, після того, як у середу трапилися перші смертельні випадки.
Місцеві ЗМІ повідомили, що кокаїн був „розбавлений” токсичною речовиною, ймовірно, бандою наркоторговців, яка прагне скоротити витрати на фоні війни за територію з групами, що конкурують.

Деніел Келлі та Стівен Гілгулі на о. Сент-Люсія сховали наркотик у консервовані боби та кокосове молоко, банки акуратно закрили машиною та відправили 2,742 кг кокаїну, як консерви, поштою до Лондона.
Експертиза підтвердила, що речовина в банках – кокаїн. 12 січня Лондонський суд засудив двох чоловіків до 15 років позбавлення волі.

Як повідомило в четвер Чорногорське громадське телебачення (RTCG), поліція вилучила понад пів тонни кокаїну, знайденого в коробках з-під бананів, призначених для одного з місцевих гіпермаркетів.

Кілька сотень кілограмів кокаїну виявили в коробках для бананів у Чорногорії в одному з гіпермаркетів.
Велику кількість наркотиків знайшли в порту Барі (Італія) митники, а потім повідомили про це прокуратуру та поліцію, яким було доручено відпустити партію, щоб побачити, куди її доставлять і хто її замовив. Коли кокаїн потрапив на склад продовольчого гіпермаркету, його працівники повідомили правоохоронців.
За інформацією RTCG, поки що ні прокуратура, ні поліція не прокоментували вилучення наркотику. Але МВС Чорногорії повідомило у Twitter, що міністр Сергій Секулович привітав правоохоронців з вилученням сотень кілограмів небезпечної речовини. А віцепрем’єр-міністр з внутрішньої безпеки Дрітан Абазович розмістив у соцмережі допис, де зазначив, що його країна продовжить боротьбу з наркокартелями.
Інформація про те, звідки прибув вантаж, не розголошується.
Це не перший випадок, коли в партії бананів, призначених для вказаної продуктової мережі, знаходять велику кількість наркотиків. У 2018 році в контейнері корабля, що прибув з Еквадору, було виявлено близько 30 кілограмів кокаїну.
Як повідомляє подгорицька щоденна газета Vijesti, конфіскований вантаж прибув до порту Барі 2 січня. Наркотики замовили через чорногорського бізнесмена, який роками жив у Словенії.
Vijesti також зазначили, що опозиційний політик Марко Мілачич опублікував у соцмережах дані про ведення бізнесу згаданого гіпермаркету. За його словами, компанія збільшила імпорт бананів на 450% за останні п’ять років і обробила 69% загального імпорту цих фруктів у країну 2021-го.
Мілачич також повідомив, що, згідно зі статистикою, середнє споживання бананів у Європі становить 9 кілограмів, тоді як за даними імпорту, одна людина в Чорногорії з’їдає 20 кілограмів бананів на рік. Тож є багато ознак того, що компанія використовує імпорт фруктів для ввезення наркотиків. Крім того, у поставках бананів іншої продуктової компанії, яку останніми роками витіснили з «бананового ринку», минулого року було знайдено 1,4 тонни кокаїну.
