Egy videó kezdett el terjedni a közösségi médiában, amelyen az látható, hogy egy maszkot viselő férfi kalapáccsal nekiesik Benjámin Netanjahu szobrának Mexikóváros viaszmúzeumában.
A politikai aktivista előbb vörös festékkel leöntötte, majd nagy erővel kezdte el verni az izraeli miniszterelnök fejét, végül felborította a tönkretett viaszszobrot a világ több egykori és jelenlegi vezetőjének a társaságában. Az esetet „testközelből nézte végig” a brit királyi család, miközben a férfi azt kiabálta, hogy „éljen Palesztina, Szudán, Jemen és Puerto Rico”.
Az én felelősségem, hogy leszámoljak ezzel a háborús bűnössel, mert a mexikóvárosi viaszmúzeum elfelejtette befedni 40 ezer palesztin vérével

Tortát dobott egy fiatal nő Christian Lindner, a német Szabaddemokrata Párt (FDP) elnökének arcába Greifswaldban – írja a Die Welt. A lap szerint a nő a Baloldali Párt (Die Linke) tagja, a szervezet elhatárolódott a történtektől. A papírtányéron, amely a szappantortával a politikus felé repült, a következő szavak olvashatók voltak: „a szabadság szeretetéért”.
„Sajnos nem krém volt, hanem csak szappan (…) Legalább jobban csinálhatták volna, akkor kihoztam volna belőle valamit” – mondta Lindner, miután letörölte a habot az arcáról. A német liberálisok azonban felháborítónak nevezték az esetet.
Németországban február 23-án tartanak előrehozott választásokat, miután összeomlott a „jelzőlámpa-koalíciónak” is nevezett, szociáldemokratákból (SPD), szabaddemokratákból (FDP) és zöldekből (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) alkotta hárompárti kormánykoalíció. Az előrehozott választás előzménye, hogy november végén Olaf Scholz menesztette Christian Lindner pénzügyminisztert, ezután az FDP kilépett a koalícióból. Ezt követően bizalmi szavazást tartottak a Bundestagban, amelyet Scholz elveszített ezért feloszlott a a német törvényhozás és december 27-én Frank Walter-Steinmeier elnök kiírta a választások időpontját.
Lindner pártja jelenleg a bejutásért küzd, a felmérések szerint országos szinten 4 százalékon állnak, miközben a kereszténydemokraták (CDU/CSU) 31 százalékkal és az Alternatíva Németországnak (AfD) 20 százalékkal vezetik a közvélemény-kutatásokat.

Az oroszok pénteken újabb hatalmas rakétatámadást intéztek Ukrajna ellen, 93 rakétát lőttek ki, köztük cirkáló- és ballisztikus rakétákat, a csapásokat csaknem 200 drónnal végrehajtott támadás kísérte – közölte Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök a Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
Mint Zelenszkij megállapította, ez volt az egyik legnagyobb támadás Ukrajna energetikai infrastruktúrája ellen. Az előzetes adatok szerint a légvédelemnek 81 rakétát sikerült lelőnie, a modern F-16 vadászgépek 11 cirkálórakétát semmisítettek meg. „Ez Putyin „békés” terve – mindent elpusztítani. Így akar „tárgyalásokat” – emberek millióinak terrorizálásával. És nincs korlátozva sem a hosszú hatótávolságú rakéták, sem a gyártáshoz szükséges alkatrészek beszerzésében” – tette hozzá.
Az elnök szerint az Oroszország által használt rakéták közül legalább egyet Észak-Koreában gyártottak, ami a terrort támogató orosz katonai együttműködés nemzetközi jellegéről tanúskodik. Egyúttal masszív reakcióra szólította fel a világot válaszul erre az agressziós aktusra. Azt is megjegyezte, hogy Putyin folytathatja a támadásokat azzal, hogy az olajbevételekből rakétaalkatrészeket vásárol.
„Az olaj elég pénzt ad Putyinnak ahhoz, hogy higgyen a büntetlenségben. Erőteljes reakcióra van szükségünk a világ részéről: tömeges reakcióra a hatalmas támadásra. Ez az egyetlen módja a terror megállításának” – mondta az államfő. Hangsúlyozta, hogy csak a megerősített szankciók és katonai támogatás, köztük a Patriothoz hasonló légvédelmi rendszerek szállítása képes megállítani az orosz terrorizmust.
„Ha a vezetők félnek válaszolni, vagy megszokják a terrort, Putyin ezt a folytatás engedélyének tekinti. Hazafiakra van szükségünk, hogy lelőjék ezeket a rakétákat, és bebizonyítsák, hogy a terror nem éri el a célját. Meg kell erősíteni az Oroszország elleni szankciókat. A háború valós hatást gyakorol az orosz rakétagyártásra” – hangsúlyozta Zelenszkij.
Az elnök hozzátette: Putyint a szavak nem állítják meg. Szerinte ehhez olyan erő kell, amely a békéhez vezet. „A világ megállíthatja ezt az őrületet, és ehhez mindenekelőtt Moszkvában kell megállítani az őrületet, amely 20+ éve terrorparancsot ad. Erőre van szükség. Ukrajna hálás mindenkinek, aki segít” – magyarázta Volodimir Zelenszkij.

A védelmi minisztérium hírszerzési főosztálya arról számolt be, hogy az egyik szíriai katonai támaszpont, ahol orosz harcosok állomásoznak, ostrom alatt áll.
„A maradék szíriai orosz kontingens között folytatódik a frusztráció és az elnyomás – az oroszok még vezetőikkel és parancsnokaikkal szemben is elégedetlenségüknek adnak hangot, többek között azok szervezési képtelenségüket illetően. Az orosz hadsereg egyik katonai bázisa ostrom alatt áll”, áll a jelentésben.
Megjegyezték, hogy a Szíriából való visszavonuláshoz az oroszok katonai szállítóhajókból álló karavánt használtak, amelyre a csapatok, fegyverek és katonai felszerelések maradványait rakták fel. Köztük An-124 és az Il-76MD repülőgépek, amelyek az Uljanovszk, Cskalovszk és Privolzsszk repülőterekre tartanak, többek között Baltijszk városában elrendelték, hogy a Sparta II szárazteherhajót és az „Alexander Sabalin” nagy kétéltű rohamhajót készítsék fel a Tartusba való hajózásra.
Az orosz északi flotta nagy kétéltű hajói, az „Alexander Otrakovszki” és az „Ivan Gren” is a Földközi-tenger felé tartanak. A hadműveletben részt vesznek az ellenséges fregattok is, az „Admiral Gorskov” és az „Admiral Golovko” is.
„Tartusa kikötőjében az oroszok a felszerelések és a hadi vagyon sürgős szétszerelését végzik. Már több száz orosz kommandós érkezett oda, hogy biztosítsák a visszavonulás biztonságát”, tették hozzá a hírszerzők.

A Maccabi Tel-Aviv szurkolóira támadtak rá az Ajax Amsterdam ellen az Európa-ligában vívott mérkőzést követően. A helyi hatóságok jelentése szerint tíz izraeli megsebesült, s az izraeli konzulátus még keresi az áldozatokat a kórházakban és azokon a helyeken, ahol elrejtőzhettek. Két szurkoló eltűnését is bejelentették.
A holland hatóságok szerint a helyzet reggelre lecsillapodott, a rendőrség szóvivője elmondta, hogy ötvenhét embert letartóztattak. Az izraelieket arra kérték, hogy keressenek menedéket, rejtőzzenek el. Az izraeli sajtó a hollandiai közlések alapján azt írta, hogy a támadók arabul beszéltek, és palesztinbarát jelszavakat kiabáltak.

A Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési főosztálya (HUR) először csapott le kamikaze drónokkal az ellenséges flottára a Kaszpi-tengeren az ukrán határtól mintegy 1,5 ezer kilométerre – számolt be szerdán az rbc.ua hírportál a titkosszolgálatokban lévő forrásaira hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint szerda reggel kamikaze drónok támadást hajtottak végre, aminek következtében legalább két objektum megsérült Kaszpijszk városában, amely Oroszország Dagesztáni Köztársaságában található. Valószínűleg megrongálódott a Tatarsztan és a Dagesztan rakétahordozó hajók, valamint a 21631 projekt kisméretű rakétahordozó hajói.
Sajtóértesülések szerint az érintett objektumok a part menti erők egységeinek bázisa, beleértve a tengerészgyalogság egységeit is. A megtámadott flotta részt vett az Ukrajna elleni rakétacsapások megindításában, a 177. tengerészgyalogos ezred pedig a Herszon és Zaporizzsja megyék területén folytatott hadműveletekben.
