A közlemény szerint „június 5-én Oroszország újabb nukleáris terrorcselekményt követett el: hajnali 5:30 órakor egy, a Kaliber rakétához hasonló orosz cirkálórakéta kritikusan alacsonyan repült át a Dél-ukrajnai Atomerőmű felett.” Mint a nyilatkozat megállapította, Oroszország továbbra is fenyegeti az ukrán atomerőművek nukleáris biztonságát, és újabb nukleáris katasztrófával fenyegeti a világot.
A NAEK szerint „a rasiszták még mindig nem értik, hogy a rakéta legkisebb töredéke is, amely eltalál egy működő energiablokkot, nukleáris katasztrófát és radioaktív anyag elszabadulását okozhatja.” A vállalatnál feltételezik, hogy a rakéta Kijev felé repült, ahol reggel robbanások hallatszottak.

A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Kijevben június 5-én reggel több erős robbanás történt Darnica és a Dnyiprovszk kerületekben. Több mint százezer lakos maradt a Donyeck megyei Mariupolban, aki április óta nem jut ivóvízhez és élelemhez – mondta szerdán egy tévéműsorban Vadim Bojcsenko, Mariupol polgármestere, aki humanitárius folyosók megnyitását sürgette a város felé.
Az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál beszámolója szerint a polgármester kiemelte, hogy a megszállt városban növekszik a temetkezések száma, és vannak spontán létrehozott sírhelyek is. Hangsúlyozta, hogy az emelkedő hőmérséklet és a heves esőzések fertőző betegségek veszélyét hordozzák magukban: a vérhas és a kolera kitörése több ezer mariupoli lakos megbetegedését okozhatja.
A polgármester elmondta azt is, hogy az orosz csapatok megbízták az önkényesen kikiáltott donyecki „népköztársaság rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériumát”, hogy gondoskodjon az ivóvízszállításról Mariupolba. A városban lakók azonban arról számoltak be – mondta a polgármester –, hogy csak akkor adnak nekik ivóvizet, ha hajlandóak dolgozni: romokat eltakarítani, holttesteket összegyűjteni és eltemetni, vagyis eltüntetni az oroszok háborús bűntetteit – fűzte hozzá a polgármester. „Eszerint a mariupoliak ivóvízért dolgoznak” – konstatálta.
„Az, ami az orosz propagandavideókon volt látható, hogy áprilisban élelmiszereket osztottak, ma már nem történik meg. Április óta a mariupoli lakosok nem juthatnak élelemhez, és mint látjuk, ivóvízhez sem” – hangsúlyozta Bojcsenko. Szavai szerint Mariupolban több mint százezer embert tartanak túszul, mert nem engedik őket, hogy ukrán ellenőrzés alatti terület felé hagyják el a várost. Sürgette Kijevet: hívja össze Ukrajna nemzetközi partnereit, az ENSZ-t és a Vöröskeresztet és létesítsenek „zöld folyosókat”, hogy a városból ukrán ellenőrzésű területre távozhassanak az ott lakók.

Mindent meg kell tenni az Oroszország által Ukrajnában indított háborúban elkövetett nemzetközi bűncselekmények bizonyítékainak összegyűjtése és a felelősök bíróság elé állítása érdekében – jelentette ki Ladislav Hamran, az Európai Unió tagállamai közötti igazságügyi együttműködésért felelős ügynökség, az Eurojust elnöke Hágában kedden.
Ladislav Hamran, a szintén hágai székhelyű Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróság (ICC) ügyészi hivatalával közösen tartott sajtótájékoztatón emlékeztetett: Litvánia, Lengyelország és Ukrajna az Eurojust támogatásával március végén hozott létre közös nyomozócsoportot, hogy felderítse az Ukrajnában február 24. óta tartó háborúban állítólagosan elkövetett nemzetközi bűncselekményeket. A Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróság április végén csatlakozott a kezdeményezéshez.
Az Eurojust elnöke közölte: Észtország, Lettország és Szlovákia főügyészei kedden Hágában megállapodást írtak alá arról, hogy országaik csatlakoznak a közös nyomozócsoporthoz. A megállapodás lehetővé teszi a szoros együttműködést, valamint az információk és a bizonyítékok hatékony és gyors megosztását – mondta Hamran. Közölte továbbá, hogy az Eurojust operatív, elemzési, jogi és pénzügyi támogatással továbbra is támogatja a közös nyomozócsoport partnereit, emellett segíti a résztvevő országok nemzeti hatóságai közötti koordinációt és együttműködést is.
Karim Khan, az ICC főügyésze reményét fejezte ki, hogy a három uniós tagország csatlakozását követően más országok is részt kívánnak venni a közös nyomozócsoport munkájában. Kiemelte: hivatalának célja a nemzetközi igazságügyi együttműködés megkönnyítése, valamint az, hogy felgyorsítsa a határon átnyúló nyomozásokat és a büntetőeljárások lefolytatását az érintett országokban, valamint a Nemzetközi Büntetőbíróság részes államaiban.
Közölte azt is, hogy a közös nyomozócsoport azon dolgozik, hogy önálló irodát nyisson Kijevben az állítólagosan elkövetett háborús bűncselekmények kivizsgálására.
Irina Venediktova ukrán főügyész a sajtótájékoztatón kijelentette: elengedhetetlen az Európai Unió támogatása és együttműködése, ugyanis – mint mondta – a közös nyomozócsoportnak „minden egyes nap” újabb eseteket kell kivizsgálnia. Tájékoztatása szerint naponta mintegy két-, háromszáz újabb feltételezett nemzetközi bűneset, valamint ez idáig több, mint 600 gyanúsított, köztük magas rangú orosz politikusok és katonatisztek kerültek a nyomozócsoport látókörébe. Elmondta, hogy a közös nyomozócsoport ez idáig mintegy 15 ezer ügyben kezdett vizsgálatot és nyolcvan embert tartanak fogva feltételezett háborús bűnök feltételezett elkövetése miatt.

Háborús bűntett gyanújával eljárást indított a francia terrorelhárítási ügyészség egy francia újságíró halála ügyében, akit az ukrajnai Luhanszk megyei Szeverodoneck közelében öltek meg az orosz erők, amikor humanitárius buszon utazó civileket kísért. Ezzel nyolcra emelkedett az orosz támadás kezdte óta Ukrajnában megölt újságírók száma – tudatta kedden a párizsi vádhatóság.
„Frédéric Leclerc-Imhoff újságíróként volt Ukrajnában azért, hogy megmutassa a háború valóságát. Az orosz bombák elöl menekülni kényszerülő civilekkel utazott egy humanitárius buszon, amikor halálosan megsebesült” – jelentette be hétfőn a Twitteren Emmanuel Macron francia államfő a tudósító halálhírét.
A legnézettebb francia hírtelevízió, a BFM 32 éves tudósítója hat éve dolgozott a csatornánál, ez volt a második riportútja Ukrajnában.
Catherine Colonna külügyminiszter szintén a Twitteren erősítette meg, hogy a riporter a humanitárius művelet ellen indított orosz bombázásban vesztette életét, „miközben tájékoztatási munkáját végezte”.
A tárcavezető „átlátható vizsgálatot követel a lehető leggyorsabban a tragédia körülményeinek feltárására”. Catherine Colonna az AFP francia hírügynökségnek jelezte: azt kérte Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnöktől, hogy „tegyen meg minden tőle telhetőt, hogy az ukrán hatóságok segítsenek, és lehetővé tegyék az újságíró holttestének hazajuttatását a családjához, a lehető leggyorsabban”.
A luhanszki régió vezetése a Telegram-csatornáján azt közölte, hogy Frédéric Leclerc-Imhoff védősisakot viselt és a nyakánál sérült meg. A BFM hírtévé információi szerint a riporter „lövedékdarabtól” sebesült meg. A stáb másik tagja, Maxime Brandstaetter könnyebben megsérült a támadásban, az ő evakuálását már szervezi a televíziós csatorna.
A francia terrorelhárítási ügyészség a fegyveres harcokban egy, a nemzetközi jog által védett személy életének szándékos veszélyeztetése, a konfliktusban közvetlenül nem érintett emberek elleni szándékos támadás, valamint humanitárius küldetés keretében használt jármű, és az abban utazók elleni szándékos támadás gyanújával indított eljárást.
