Állítólag félreértés miatt robbant ki tűzharc az iráni határőrök és tálib fegyveresek között: iráni földművesek átmásztak olyan védőfalakon, amelyek még Irán területén vannak – jelentette az MTI.

A péntekre virradó éjszaka során ismeretlenek rátámadtak a vízhiány miatt két hete békés ülősztrájkot folytató földművesekre és felgyújtották sátraikat. A helyi farmerek már évek óta tiltakoznak az ellen, hogy a Zajánderud vízét elvezetik más térségek, így például Jazd tartomány ellátására, aminek következtében földjeik kiszáradnak és megélhetésük kerül veszélybe. Az iráni sajtó szerint a jazdi csővezetéket már többször is megrongálták a múltban.
Júliusban szintén a vízhiány miatt Irán délkeleti részein voltak erőszakba torkollott megmozdulások, amelyek során több embert lelőttek a biztonságiak. A teheráni vezetés az ötven éve nem tapasztalt aszályt hibáztatja a vízhiányért, míg a rezsim bírálói a hatóságok rossz vízgazdálkodására is felhívják a figyelmet.

A teheráni bíróság feladata a több mint száz vádló kezdeményezte perben kideríteni, ki felelős a gép lelövéséért, illetve miért hátráltatták a történtek feltárását.
Az ukrán nemzetközi légitársaság Teheránból Kijevbe tartó Boeing–737-ese 2020. január 8-án, nem sokkal a felszállás után zuhant le az iráni főváros közelében.
Az iráni hatóságok először balesetről beszéltek, majd elismerték, hogy az iráni Forradalmi Gárda légvédelme tévedésből lelőtte a gépet. A repülőn 176 ember volt, és senki sem élte túl a tragédiát.
Az iráni kormány szerint végzetes hibáról volt szó a hadsereg részéről, amely riadókészültségben volt, miután egy amerikai drón megölte Bagdadban Kászim Szulejmáni tábornokot, az iráni Forradalmi Gárda magas rangú parancsnokát. Az irániak esetleges válaszcsapásoktól tartottak, miután a dróntámadásra megtorlásul rakétákat lőttek ki olyan iraki támaszpontokra, amelyeken amerikai katonák állomásoztak. Az iráni polgári repülési igazgatóság tavaly júliusi jelentése pedig a katonai radar hibás kezelésére, valamint több emberi mulasztásra hivatkozott, amik az ukrán gép lelövéséhez vezethettek.
Tavaly decemberben a teheráni vezetés a halottak hozzátartozóinak fejenként 150 ezer dollárnak megfelelő kártérítést ajánlott fel.

A környező hegyekben hatalmas földcsuszamlások, sziklaomlások alakultak ki.
Erős földrengés rázta meg Irán déli részét vasárnap délután. A Német Földtudomány Intézet (GFZ) szerint a 6,1-es erősségű rengés epicentruma Bandar Abbász kikötőrvárosától 63 kilométerre északnyugatra, 10 kilométeres mélységben volt. Az Iráni Szeizmológiai Központ vezetője viszont két egymást követő erős, 6,4-es és 6,3-as földrengésről számolt be, melyek epicentruma a Queshm-sziget közelében lehetett a Perzsa öbölben. A térségében több utórengésről os érkeztek jelentések.
A földrengést Irán más tartományaiban, valamint a Perzsa-öböl túlsó partján fekvő Dubaiban is érezni lehetett. Jelentős károkról egyelőre nem érkezett jelentés a helyi hatóságoktól, viszont sérültjei és egy áldozata is van a földrengésnek.
A Bandar Abbásztól északra húzódó Geno-hegysében földcsuszamlásokat, sziklaomlásokat okozott a földrengés, melynek következtében hatalmas porfelhő alakult ki a hegyek fölött.

Az események kevesebb mint két évvel követik a november 19-i benzináremelést, amit széles körű tüntetések követtek, melyek során a karhatalom több száz ember életét oltotta ki.
Az olajminisztérium szerint a fennakadások csak a támogatott benzin vásárlásához szükséges okoskártyákat érintik, és a fogyasztók a drágább üzemanyagból gond nélkül tudnak vásárolni.
A közösségi médián közzétett videók szerint több elektronikus táblát is meghekkeltek, és azok azt a feliratot sugározzák, hogy Hámenei, hol a benzinünk?
Nem ez az első kibertámadás, ami az országot éri, júliusban például a közlekedési minisztérium honlapját tüntették el a támadók. Irán a múltban a hasonló támadásokért az Egyesült Államokat és Izraelt okolta, míg az Egyesült Államok és más nyugati hatalmak szerint pont Irán indított támadásokat az ő rendszereik ellen.

Iránban vasárnap életbe lépet az új szabály, mely szerint a nélkülözhetetlennek ítélt járműveken kívül senki sem lehet az utakon.
Az új típusú koronavírus delta variánsának terjedése miatt ismét korlátozásokat vezetnek be a hatóságok Iránban hétfőtől augusztus 21-ig – jelentette az iráni állami televízió szombaton.
A korlátozások értelmében minden, nem létfontosságú üzletnek be kell zárnia, és a nélkülözhetetlennek ítélt járműveken kívül senki sem lehet az utakon. Ezt már vasárnap életbe léptetik.
„Minden utat lezárunk, csak az élelmiszert vagy létszükségletnek tekinthető árut szállító teherautók és mentőautók lehetnek az utakon”
– jelentette be Alireza Raiszi, az iráni operatív törzs szóvivője.
Szombaton 29 700 új fertőzöttet jegyeztek fel Iránban, amely a térség legsúlyosabban érintett országa a világjárványban. A halálos áldozatok száma hétfőn döntötte meg az eddigi napi rekordot; 588 ember halt meg 24 óra alatt Covid-19-ben. Ez a szám szombatra 466-ra mérséklődött. 97 208 ember halt már bele a járványba az országban.
A közösségi médiában sokan bírálták a hatóságokat az oltási kampány lassúsága miatt, miután a 83 millió lakosú Iránban egyelőre csak 3,8 millió embert sikerült teljesen beoltani. A kormány viszont arra hivatkozik, hogy az országot sújtó szankciók miatt nem tudnak külföldi oltóanyagot vásárolni és akadoznak a szállítások.

Csütörtökön egy kanadai bíróság úgy döntött, „terrorcselekménnyé” nyilvánítja az Irán által 2020 januárjában lelőtt Teheránból induló ukrán utasszállító repülőgépet. Ezzel a döntéssel megnyílt az út az áldozatok családjainak kártérítési igénye előtt.
Fotó: MTI/EPA/Abedin Taherkenareh Ontario állam legfelső bírósága határozatában azt állapította meg, hogy az ukrán légitársaság PS752-es járatára indított két rakéta „minden valószínűség szerint” szándékos volt, és a kanadai jog szerint „terrorcselekménynek” minősül.
„A bíróság döntése példa nélküli a kanadai jogban” – hangoztatta közleményében a hozzátartozók érdekeit védő két ügyvéd, Mark és Jonah Arnold. Úgy vélekedtek, a döntés megnyitja az utat ügyfeleik előtt, hogy kártérítést kérjenek Irántól. A felperesek mintegy 1,5 milliárd dollár (447 milliárd forint) kártérítést követelnek. A szerencsétlenség 176 halálos áldozata között 55 kanadai állampolgár és 30 állandó kanadai lakhellyel rendelkező utas volt.
Kanadában általában nem perelhetők polgári peres ügyekben a külföldi államok. Egy 2012-es törvény azonban kivételt tesz a „terrorizmust” támogató országok esetében. Ottawa ugyanebben az évben megszakította diplomáciai kapcsolatait Teheránnal.
Tavaly januárban az iráni forradalmi gárda légvédelme véletlenül lőtt le egy ukrán repülőt nem sokkal azután, hogy az felszállt Teheránból. Irán azt hozta fel mentségéül, hogy hadereje riadókészültségben volt egy esetleges amerikai támadás miatt, nem sokkal korábban ugyanis Teherán rakétákkal támadott olyan iraki támaszpontokat, amelyeken amerikai katonákat szállásoltak el.
Márciusban az iráni polgári repülési hatóság radarhibát és a légvédelmen belüli emberi tévedést nevezte meg a katasztrófa okaként, és vádat emelt tíz ember ellen. Ukrajna elítélte a „valódi okok elrejtésére irányuló cinikus kísérletet”, míg Ottawa egy „kézzelfogható bizonyítékokat” nélkülöző, „hiányos” jelentésnek minősítette a jelentést.
Marc Garneau kanadai külügyminiszter egy héttel ezelőtt azt mondta, „teljesen elfogadhatatlan, hogy Irán a felelősséget néhány alacsony rangú emberre akarja tolni, és nem szolgál a parancsnoki láncolat felelősségre vonásával”. Hozzátette, hogy Kanada pár hét múlva előáll saját vizsgálati jelentésével a katasztrófáról.

Újabb vádak alapján további egy év szabadságvesztésre ítélték Iránban a brit-iráni állampolgárságú Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe-t, aki egy korábbi ítélet alapján négy évet töltött egy iráni börtönben, egy évet pedig házi őrizetben.
Az ügy az elmúlt években folyamatos diplomáciai viszály forrása London és Teherán között, és ez a viszály tovább éleződött az elmúlt hetekben, miután kiderült, hogy az iráni hatóságok újabb büntetőeljárást kezdtek Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe ellen.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a Thomson Reuters Alapítvány Londonban élő programigazgatója 2016-ban utazott Iránba Nagy-Britanniában született kislányával családlátogatásra. Amikor vissza akart térni Londonba, a teheráni repülőtéren őrizetbe vették, majd az iráni rendszer megdöntésére tett kísérlet és kémkedés vádjával öt év börtönbüntetésre ítélték.
Tavaly márciusig a teheráni Evin börtönben tartották fogva; utána házi őrizetben tartózkodhatott szülei otthonában, de a bokáján elektronikus nyomkövető szerkezetet kellett viselnie.
Az iráni hatóságok a múlt hónapban bejelentették, hogy letöltöttnek tekintik Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe büntetését, és eltávolították a nyomkövetőt.
Ezzel egy időben viszont közölték vele, hogy továbbra sem térhet vissza Nagy-Britanniába, sőt újból bíróság elé kell állnia Teheránban.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe ügyvédje hétfőn a BBC brit közszolgálati médiatársaság beszámolója szerint közölte, hogy védencét újabb egy év börtönre ítélték, azzal a váddal, hogy 12 évvel ezelőtt részt vett egy tüntetésen Irán londoni nagykövetsége előtt, majd interjút adott a BBC perzsa hírszolgálatának.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe brit férje, Richard Ratcliffe hétfőn a BBC-nek elmondta: feleségét még nem vitték vissza a börtönbe, értesítést sem kapott arról, hogy mikor kell megkezdenie büntetésének letöltését.
Hozzátette: az ítélet ellen feleségének ügyvédje fellebbezést nyújtott be.
Richard Ratcliffe kijelentette: a felesége elleni újabb ítélet nyilvánvalóan „az iráni tárgyalási taktika” újabb megnyilvánulása.
Erre az iráni hatóságok is tettek egyértelmű utalásokat. Az első büntetőeljárás idején közölték ugyanis Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe-fel, hogy pere összefügg egy több mint negyven évvel ezelőtti fegyverszállítási ügylettel.
Irán még Mohammad Reza Pahlavi sah uralkodása idején harckocsikat rendelt Nagy-Britanniától, ám a brit fél az 1979-es iráni iszlám fordulat után nem teljesítette a megrendelést.
Teherán 400 millió fontot (csaknem 170 milliárd forintot) követel Londontól a meghiúsult tranzakció költségei és kamatai címén, és a két fél közötti jogi csatározás évtizedek óta tart ebben az ügyben.
Boris Johnson brit miniszterelnök a múlt hónapban telefonon beszélt Haszan Róháni iráni elnökkel, akitől Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe haladéktalan szabadon engedését követelte.
Róháni a Downing Street tájékoztatása szerint a telefonbeszélgetésben is nyomatékkal említette a fegyverszállítási ügylet feletti vita rendezetlenségét.
Az újabb ítéletről szóló hétfői beszámolók nyomán Johnson közölte: London megkétszerezi erőfeszítéseit annak érdekében, hogy Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe mielőbb hazatérhessen családjához Nagy-Britanniába.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe-t a brit külügyminisztérium két éve diplomáciai védelem alá helyezte. Ez magasabb szintű védelmet jelent, mint a konzuli segítség, egyben hivatalos nemzetközi jogi konfliktus szintjére emeli az ügyet.

Az izraeli külföldi hírszerző ügynökség, a Moszad hajtott végre kibertámadást az urándúsító ellen – véli az izraeli közszolgálati rádió.
„Irán elítéli ezt az alávaló cselekedetet, és hangsúlyozza, hogy a nemzetközi közösségnek és a NAÜ-nak el kell járnia a nukleáris terrorizmus esetében. Irán fenntartja magának a jogot, hogy válaszlépést tegyen az elkövetők ellen” – közölte Szálehi, részletekbe nem bocsátkozva.
A NAÜ szóvivője e-mailben közölte, hogy ismerik a sajtóhíreket, de egyelőre nem kommentálják a történteket.
Az izraeli közszolgálati rádió közben meg nem nevezett hírszerzési forrásokra hivatkozva közölte, hogy a Moszad kibertámadást hajtott végre a natanzi urándúsító ellen.
A Kan rádió nem közölte, hogy mely ország hírszerzésére hivatkozott híradásában. Behruz Kamalvandi, az iráni atomenergiai hivatal szóvivője vasárnap reggel közölte, hogy üzemzavar volt az Iránban, az ország középső részén, a Natanz városánál működő atomipari létesítménynél. Az urándúsítót árammal ellátó hálózati rendszer hibásodott meg. A szóvivő korábban azt mondta, hogy az incidens nem okozott károkat, illetve sugárszennyezést.
Éppen előző este helyezték üzembe Natanzban az új, nagyobb teljesítményű urándúsító centrifugákat, amelyek működtetése sérti az iráni atomprogramról 2015-ben aláírt nemzetközi megállapodást.
A ceremónián Haszan Róháni elnök megerősítette, hogy országa továbbra is elkötelezett az atomfegyverek terjedésének megakadályozása mellett.
Az Iszfahán tartományban fekvő sivatagban épített létesítményt, az iráni urándúsító program központi üzemét megfigyelés alatt tartja a NAÜ, az ENSZ-nek az atomsorompó egyezmény betartatásán őrködő szakosított szervezete.
A natanzi incidens akkor történt, amikor Teherán és Washington megpróbálja újjáéleszteni a 2015-ben Bécsben az iráni atomprogram korlátozásáról és cserében a Teherán elleni szankciók fokozatos feloldásáról aláírt atomalkut. Donald Trump akkori amerikai elnök 2018-ban egyoldalúan kiléptette országát a szerződésből és bevezette újból az iráni gazdaságot fojtogató büntetőintézkedéseket, 2019-től pedig Teherán hagyott fel egymás után a szerződésben vállalt kötelezettségei teljesítésével.
Tavaly júliusban rejtélyes eredetű robbanás rázta meg a natanzi üzemet, amelyről az iráni hatóságok később azt közölték, szabotázs történt.
Megfigyelők szerint Izrael hajthatott végre támadást az urándúsító üzem ellen. 2010-ben a Stuxnet nevű számítógépes vírust – amelyet széles körben elterjedt vélekedés szerint az Egyesült Államok és Izrael fejlesztette ki – fedezték fel a natanzi urándúsító ellen elkövetett kalóztámadás után.
