Fehéroroszország átadta Oroszországnak azt a 32 orosz állampolgárt, akiket azzal gyanúsítanak, hogy a Wagner csoport elnevezésű orosz magán zsoldoshadsereg tagjai – közölte a moszkvai főügyészség sajtószolgálata pénteken.
A tájékoztatás szerint az Igor Krasznov főügyész augusztus 5-én előterjesztett jogsegélykérelme nyomán átadott 32 orosz állampolgár már megérkezett Oroszországba.
Fehéroroszországban július 29-én hozták nyilvánosságra, hogy 33 orosz állampolgárt vettek őrizetbe, akik feltehetőleg a Wagner csoport tagjai. A minszki hatóságok gyanúja szerint azért érkeztek Fehéroroszországba, hogy destabilizálják a helyzetet az augusztus 9-i elnökválasztás előtt. Az orosz ügyészség pénteki közlése szerint a 33. őrizetbe vett orosz-fehérorosz kettős állampolgár, és így egyelőre Fehéroroszországban marad.
A moszkvai vádhatóság hangsúlyozta, hogy az elfogottak átadása a nemzetközi jog, illetve az orosz és a fehérorosz jogrend szigorú betartásával és a két ország ügyészségeinek szoros együttműködésével zajlott le. A főügyészség közölte azt is, hogy az illetékes hatóságok vizsgálatot folytatnak a kialakult helyzet tisztázására.
Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz elnök korábban úgy vélekedett, hogy a zsoldosokat szándékosan küldték országába. Dmitrij Peszkov orosz elnöki szóvivő tagadta ezt, azt állítva, hogy csak egy harmadik országba átutazóban tartózkodtak Fehéroroszországban.
A fehérorosz nyomozó bizottság szerint a csoportos rendzavarások előkészítésével gyanúsított zsoldosok az elnökválasztáson a hivatalos eredmények szerint alulmaradt Szvjatlana Cihanouszkaja ellenzéki elnökjelölt férjével és Mikola Sztatkevics ismert ellenzékivel állhatnak kapcsolatban.

A fehérorosz biztonsági erők mintegy hetven olyan újságírót vettek őrizetbe a múlt vasárnapi elnökválasztás óta, akik az állítólagos tömeges választási csalásokról és az emiatt kezdődött tüntetésekről számoltak be – közölték újságírószervezetek.

Közlésük szerint a médiamunkásokat önkényesen letartóztatták, megverték, és egyes esetekben hosszabb időre bebörtönözték. A választások napja óta 29 esetben jelentettek a szövetségnek újságírók ellen elkövetett rendőri erőszakot. Legalább hét riporter súlyosan megsérült.
„Teljességgel elfogadhatatlan a szabad sajtó elleni ilyen támadás, különösen egy európai országban” – mondta Michael Rediske, a Riporterek Határok Nélkül szóvivője az Európai Uniós tagállamok pénteki brüsszeli külügyminiszteri találkozójához időzítve, amelynek egyik fő témája volt, hogy szankciókat készítsenek elő a tiltakozókkal szembeni erőszak elkövetői és a választási eredmények meghamisításáért felelősök ellen.
Augusztus 9-e óta az internet teljesen vagy részben elérhetetlen – tették hozzá. A legtöbb hírportál továbbra is le van tiltva. Fehéroroszországban a választás óta minden nap az utcára vonulnak az emberek, tüntetéseket jelentettek Minszkből, Grodnóból, Bresztből és más városokból is. A hatóságok országszerte több ezer ember vettek őrizetbe, és két tüntető halálának a hírét erősítették meg.

A fehérorosz belügyi hatóságok szabadon engedik az összes tüntetőt, akit őrizetbe vettek az elmúlt napok tömeges tüntetésein – jelentette péntekre virradó éjjel Minszkből a TASZSZ orosz hírügynökség.
A tut.by internetes hírportál közlése szerint a főváros Okresztina utcai fogházához az éjjel megérkezett Aljakszandr Barszukov belügyminiszter-helyettes, aki újságírók előtt kijelentette, hogy péntek hajnali 6 óráig minden őrizetest szabadon engednek a fogházból.
„Hajnali hatra mindenkit szabadon engedünk” – mondta a TASZSZ szerint Barszukov, nem sokkal azután, hogy felettese, Jurij Karajev belügyminiszter utasítást adott a szabadon bocsátásokra.
Barátok és hozzátartozók százai érkeztek az éjjel az Okresztina utcai fogházhoz, hogy élelemmel, vízzel és takarókkal várják szabadon engedett szeretteiket. Az elengedett tüntetők egy része a Reuters hírügynökség szerint arról beszélt, hogy zsúfolt cellákban töltötték fogságukat és bántalmazásokra is panaszkodtak.
A belügyminiszter előzőleg, este az ONT helyi televíziónak nyilatkozva óva intett „bármilyen forradalomtól vagy felfordulástól, amely az emberek életkörülményeinek romlását eredményezné a gazdaság leállásával”. A miniszter elítélte a hatóság emberei ellen az elmúlt napokban elkövetett állítólagos támadásokat, ugyanakkor bocsánatot kért a hatósági fellépések során ártatlanul megsérült emberektől.
Fehéroroszországban csütörtökön már ötödszörre vonultak utcára az emberek a vasárnapi elnökválasztás óta, amelyen az előzetes eredmények szerint a hivatalban lévő Aljakszandr Lukasenka a szavazatok 80,08 százalékával győzött. Az ellenzék kétségbe vonta a választás tisztaságát és országszerte tüntetéseket, sztrájkokat szervezett. A hatóságok híradások szerint brutálisan léptek fel a tüntetőkkel szemben, és országszerte mintegy 6700 embert vettek őrizetbe, két tüntető pedig életét vesztette.
Csütörtökön ismét emberek ezrei alkottak élőláncot, és vonultak Minszk utcáin. Az este folyamán békés tüntetést rendeztek a fehérorosz fővárosban a Puskin téren, ahol hétfőn életét vesztette a tüntetések első halálos áldozata.
A több tízezer tüntetőhöz a Reuters szerint csatlakoztak a Lukasenka elnök vezette posztszovjet rezsim büszkeségeinek tartott több állami nagyvállalat, például a teherautókat és buszokat gyártó Minszki Autógyár (MAZ) dolgozói is. Videofelvételek szerint a tüntetők új választásokat és Lukasenka távozását követelő jelszavakat skandáltak.
A helyi média arról is beszámolt, hogy egy Minszktől északkeletre fekvő városban tüntetés volt a vontató és földmunkagépeket gyártó BelAZ gyárban, valamint a grodnói Azot vegyi üzemben is.

Az úgynevezett tüntetők többsége büntetett előéletű és nincs munkája” – mondta el. Az elnök szerint ezek az emberek szervezik a tüntetéseket. Lukasenko felszólította az embereket arra, hogy mindenki, aki nem dolgozik, álljon munkába.

Fehéroroszországban 6500 embert tartóztattak le és két ember életét vesztette a vasárnap óta tartó tüntetések során – közölte Szerhij Szisz, a Veszna emberjogi központ képviselője egy kijevi sajtótájékoztató keretén belüli videokonferencián.
„Ma a társadalom eddig példátlan aktivitását látjuk, váratlan mind az emberjogi aktivisták, úgy a belorusz nép számára. Ezek spontán gyűlések, amelyek a 33 nap alatt egyidejűleg zajlottak Fehéroroszország 26 városában” – mondta Szisz. Az emberjogi aktivista megjegyezte, hogy a „legmagasabb szintű hatóságok szörnyű ellenállása” érzékelhető a tiltakozásokkal kapcsolatban.
„Az emberek ezt a helyzetet terrornak tekintik a saját népük ellen. Emberek ezrei, akik a kimennek a tüntetésekre, nem számítanak ekkora ellenállásra a bűnüldöző szervek részéről… Ma az emberjogi aktivisták mintegy 6500 letartóztatásról tudnak ezalatt a 3 nap alatt Fehéroroszországban, a legtöbb Minszkben van” – mondta Szisz.
Elmondása szerint az aktivisták és a rendvédelmi szervek közötti összecsapások eredményeként a tiltakozások három napja alatt 260 személyt szállítottak kórházba, a fele intenzív osztályon van.
„Ma két ember halálát tudjuk megerősíteni” – mondta Szisz és hozzátette, hogy a néhány ember haláláról szóló információkat Bresztben és Baranovicsiban még ellenőrzik.

Tüntetés zajlott Fehéroroszország kijevi nagykövetsége előtt az országban lezajlott elnökválasztás miatt.
A diplomáciai hivatal előtt közel 40 ember követelte, hogy „állítsák vissza az igazságos választásokat Fehéroroszországban”.
Az aktivisták fáklyákat is gyújtottak, s többen is azt állították, hogy nem mindenkinek sikerült szavazni. A helyszínre a hatóságok is kiérkeztek.
Az előzetes eredmények alapján Olekszandr Lukasenko a szavazatok 80,23%-át szerezte meg.
