Egy igen komoly drogfogásról számoltak be a Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal ellenőrei, akik ezúttal 100 millió forint értékben foglaltak le nagyobb mennyiségű kábítószert.
A Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal beszámolója szerint mintegy 44 kilogramm, több mint 100 millió forint értékű marihuánagyanús anyagot foglaltak le az egyik röszkei ellenőrzés során. Ez már jelentős mennyiségnek számít.
Köszönhetően a sikeres ellenőrzésnek, ez a drog már semmilyen körülmények között nem kerülhet forgalomba. Kiderült, hogy a NAV munkatársai egy szerb autót ellenőriztek Röszkénél, miközben a sofőr nem jelentett be vám- és adóköteles árut.
A sofőr ideges viselkedése volt az, ami szemet szúrt az ellenőröknek és végül egy tételes vizsgálat mellett döntöttek. Remek döntésnek bizonyult, mert a jármű alvázán és a hátsó üléssornál átalakítás nyomaira bukkantak.
Az ülés alatt, textilszőnyeggel letakarva, 46 csomagban, csaknem 44 kilogramm növényi törmelék került elő, amire a marihuána-teszt pozitívan reagált. A pénzügyőrök a több mint 100 millió forint feketepiaci értékű kábítószergyanús anyagot és a sofőrt feljelentéssel átadták a rendőrségnek – olvasható a közleményben.

A kokainra öt, Paraguayból érkező konténer átvizsgálása során bukkantak rá február 12-én. A drogot glettel töltött bádogdobozok közé rejtve találták. A vámhatóság szerint a kokain is bádogdobozokban volt, tartályonként nyolc darab 9 kilogramm súlyú csomagokban; ezekből több mint 1700 darabot találtak.

Letartóztatták Scott Miller egykori úszóbajnokot, aki az 1996-os olimpián egy ezüst- és egy bronzérmet is szerzett Ausztráliának. A lakásában 2 millió ausztrál dollár értékű metamfetamint találtak, amiket gyertyákba rejtett el, és a rendőrség szerint egy bűnbandát irányított.
Scott Millert Sydneyben lévő házából vitték el a rendőrök, miután kiderítették, hogy egy társával együtt 2 millió ausztrál dollár értékben halmoztak fel metamfetaminból, a népszerű, kedélyjavító illegális kábítószerből. A csempészárut gyertyákban rejtették el.
Miller nem először került összeütközésbe a törvénnyel, 2008-ban volt az első drogbirtoklási ügye, 2013-ban nemcsak drogot, hanem tisztázatlan eredetű készpénzt is találtak a lakásában. Akkor megúszta felfüggesztett börtönbüntetéssel, most viszont lényegesen komolyabb büntetés elé néz, ha beigazolódnak a vádak.
Miller 21 évesen lett második az atlantai olimpián, az orosz Denisz Pankratov győzte le a 100 méteres pillangóúszásban. Emlékezetes döntő volt, mert az orosz 35 méter után jött ki a vízből, ez ma már szabálytalan. Miller sapka nélkül úszik, és az aranyról 36 századdal maradt le. A 4×100-as vegyes váltóban még egy bronzérmet is szerzett a játékokon. A 2000-es olimpia előtt egy új-zélandi műsorvezetőt vett feleségül, az olimpián már nem szerepelt, öntörvényű viselkedése miatt kitették a válogatottból.

A február 12-re virradó éjszakán letartóztattak Beregszászban egy 29 éves fiatalembert, aki épp kábítószert akart eladni egy ügyfélnek.
A férfi ellen egy hónappal ezelőtt kezdődött a nyomozás, mely során több hasonló esetet is nyilvántartásba vettek. A lebuktatás során épp metamfetamint készült átadni a „vásárlónak”. A rendőrök előállították, jelenleg ideiglenes letartóztatásba helyezték.
A tettes lakhelyén házkutatást végeztek, melynek során jelentős mennyiségű kábítószert találtak. Az ügyben nyomozás indult, a kereskedőre akár 8 év börtönbüntetés is várhat.

A kábítószerbizniszt egy 43 éves ungvári férfi szervezte, ő biztosította a bűnszervezet többi tagját kábítószerrel. A rendőrség minden figuránst letartóztatott, akár 12 év börtönbüntetés is várhat rájuk.
A rendőrség még az elmúlt év májusában kezdett nyomozni a bűnszervezet ügyében, a csoport három férfiból és egy nőből állt. Ezalatt az idő alatt a hatóságok több esetet is nyilvántartásba vettek, amikor az illetők drogkészítményeket adtak át ügyfeleiknek. Kiderült az is, hogy lakóhelyeiken kendert termesztettek, melyet később szintén értékesítettek.
A rendőrök 11 házkutatást tartottak, melynek során számos tárgyi bizonyítékot foglaltak le. Az ügyben folyik a nyomozás, a vizsgálatok megkezdődtek.

24 éves kábítószer-kereskedőt tartóztattak le január 30-án a kárpátaljai hatóságok.
A rendőrségnek több tárgyi bizonyítékot is sikerült összegyűjteni, melyek mind azt bizonyítják, hogy a fiatal lány marihuánát és metamfetamint árusított a megyeszékhely és az Ungvári járás kábítószerfüggőinek.
A lány abban a kávézóban fogadta „ügyfeleit”, ahol dolgozott. A rendőrök épp az üzlet „megkötése” közben érték tetten.
A hölgyet előállították, az ügyben eljárást indítottak.

Az amszterdami Schipol repülőtéren pénteken letartóztatták Tse Chi Lopot, a The Company néven ismert távol-keleti drogkartell első emberét – írja a BBC. A kínai születésű, de kanadai állampolgárságú férfit egy 2019-es ausztrál szövetségi rendőrség által kiadott Interpol-körözésre hivatkozva kapták el, a hollandok pedig Ausztráliának fogják kiadni is.
Drogkartelljének – amely főleg szintetikus kábítószereket, de heroint is gyárt és forgalmaz – a gyanú szerint csak 2018-ban 17 milliárd dollár bevétele volt metamfetamin-kereskedelemből, és meghatározó szereplője az évi 70 milliárd dolláros távol-keleti piacnak Japántól Kínán át Ausztráliáig is Új-Zélandig.
Tse Chi Lop letartóztatásával egy több mint tíz éve tartó nyomozássorozat, az Operation Kungur ért véget. Ebben több mint 20 ügynökség vett részt annak az Ausztráliának a vezetésével, ahol az országba áramló kábítószer 70 százalékának az útját irányítja a drogkartell.
Ami a szerepét illeti, az 57 éves Tse Chi Lop a kolumbiai Medellín-kartell néhai vezetőjéhez, Pablo Escobarhoz mérhető alakja a nemzetközi kábítószer-kereskedelemnek. 1998-ban drogcsempészet miatt az Egyesült Államokban, New Yorkban egyszer már elfogták és bíróság elé állították. Ügyvédje egy beadványban leírta, hogy a szülei állandó gondozásra szorulnak, a 12 éves fia pedig tüdőbeteg. Ekkor Tse Chi Lop azt ígérte, ha szabadon engedik, éttermet nyit, és azt állította a bíróság előtt, hogy mélyen megbánta bűneit. Végül kilenc évet kapott, a nagyját Elktonban, Ohio államban töltötte le. 2006-os szabadulása után visszatért Kanadába – írta az Index 2019-ben a Reuters tényfeltáró riportja alapján. Azóta élt Makaón, Hongkongban és Tajvanon is, éppen egy Kanadába tartó repülőgépre akart felszállni, amikor letartóztatták. Elfogását az ausztrál sajtó kikiáltotta az elmúlt 20 év legjelentősebb rendőrségi eredményének.

A volóci járási rendőrség munkatársai előállítottak egy 36 éves helyi személyt, aki kábítószer-kereskedéssel foglalkozott.
A letartóztatásra épp akkor került sor, amikor a férfi átadta az „árut” az előre megbeszélt helyen. A tiltott szereket a férfi a mobiltelefonja tokja alatt próbálta elrejteni a hatóságoktól, azonban nem sikerült. A tasakokban amfetaminra hasonló anyagot találtak, melyet szakértői vizsgálatra küldtek.
Az ügyben eljárás indult, a vizsgálatok megkezdődtek, a férfit valószínűleg őrizetbe veszik a bíróságot megelőző tárgyalás idejére.
