Az iráni egészségügyi minisztérium keddi adatai szerint az újabb 235 halottal 16 ezer 147-re emelkedett a koronavírus miatt elhunytak száma. A bizonyítottan koronavírustól fertőzötteké 2600-zal gyarapodott, és már csaknem elérte 300 ezret, írja az MTI.
A minisztérium szerint a korlátozóintézkedések májusban bevezetett enyhítése oda vezetett, hogy a lakosság nem veszi komolyan a járványt, sem pedig a terjedése elleni rendelkezések betartását, és emiatt erősödött fel ismét a kór terjedése. Az egészségügyi minisztérium közölte, hogy nem ért egyet az iráni kormánnyal az évenként esedékes vallási tömegünnep, az Ásúrá megtartásával.
Az emberek egészségét ugyanúgy tiszteletben kell tartani, mint a vallási hagyományt – mondta Ali-Reza Reiszi egészségügyi miniszterhelyettes.
Az Ásúrá az Iránban döntő többségben lévő síiták gyásznapja, Mohamed próféta unokája és követői mártíromságának emléknapja, de a muszlim tradíció szerint Ádám és Éva teremtése, Ábrahám próféta megmentése a tűztől, Mózes prófétának és népének megszabadítása az egyiptomi fáraó zsarnoksága alól is Ásúrá napján történt. A közlés szerint Teherán értesítette Svédország Iránban akkreditált nagykövetségét az esetről. Arra, hogy milyen fajta és mennyi kábítószer volt a két svéd állampolgárnál, nem tért ki a tájékoztatás.
Az AP amerikai hírügynökség megjegyzi, hogy Iránon keresztül vezet az ópiumot Afganisztánból Európába csempészők egyik fő útvonala, és hogy a perzsa ország hatóságai minden évben több száz tonna narkotikumot – főleg ópiumot – koboznak el. (MTI)

Az elmúlt hónapban több mint tíz iráni támaszpont, erőmű, vezeték és más létesítmény szenvedett balesetet, mely mögött az izraeli titkosszolgálatot sejtik. Amerikai lapok egy átfogó provokációs műveletet sejtenek az akciósorozat mögött, mely még a novemberi elnökválasztás előtt nagyszabású konfliktusba rántaná bele az Egyesült Államokat.
Mintha a koronavírus-járvány vagy az Egyesült Államok szankciócsomagja nem lenne elég, Iránban minden hétre jut egy-két rejtélyes baleset, melyről sokszor néhány nappal az eset után derül ki, hogy valamilyen stratégiailag fontos objektumban okoz károkat.
A balesetsorozat június 25-én kezdődött egy Teherán közeli erőműben észlelt robbanásokkal, ami elsötétítette a kétmilliós Siraz városát. Július elején Irán egyik fontos olajkikötőjében hét hajó gyulladt ki, majd jött az ország legfontosabb nukleáris létesítménye, a natanzi urándúsító központ. Az izraeli légierő által 1981-ben lebombázott iraki Oszirak sorsából tanulva nagyrészt a föld alá telepített telep centrifugáiban egy robbanást követően tűz ütött ki, és a károk akár 1-2 évvel is visszavethetik az ott folyó munkát. De a múlt hét sem telt el robbanás nélkül; egy vegyi üzem, egy oxigéngázt előállító levegőbontó üzem, és az iráni Forradalmi Gárda rakétaraktára után szombaton egy olajvezeték, vasárnap pedig egy erőmű rongálódott meg.
A natanzi szabotázsért egy iráni rendszerellenes hekkercsoport, a „Haza Gepárdjai” vállalták a felelősséget, de a valódi tettesnek persze mindenki Irán régi ellenségét, az 1979-es forradalom után a teheráni vezetés által megsemmisítésre szánt Izraelt tartja. A zsidó állam már több mint egy évtizede vív kiberháborút az iráni atomprogram hátráltatásáért – ennek leghíresebb eszköze, a hadtörténelem első igazi katonai célú számítógépes vírusa, az Egyesült Államokkal közösen fejlesztett Stuxnet volt –, és konvencionálisabb eszközöket is heti rendszerességgel vet be Teherán szíriai bázisai ellen, legutóbb hétfő éjjel intézett légicsapást Damaszkusz környéki célpontok ellen.
A kémek és árulók miatt eleve bizonytalanságban élő iráni vezetés részéről szoros hírzárlatot rendeltek el az ügyek „további kivizsgálásáig”, azonban a hatóságok sem zárták ki, hogy a balesetek egy része mögött szándékos károkozás lenne, és az esetleges felelősöket megtorlással fenyegették meg – Izraelt azonban az amúgy a verbális munícióval ritkán takarékoskodó teheráni vezetés nem vádolta meg szabotázzsal.

Hétfő reggel Iránban kivégeztek egy férfit, akit kémkedéssel vádoltak – írja a BBC.
Az állam szerint Mahmúd Muszavi-Mazsd egykori tolmács az iráni haderő csapatmozgásairól és az amerikai hadsereg által likvidált Kászim Szulejmáni tábornokról adott el információkat a CIA-nak és a Moszadnak. A múlt héten a védelmi minisztérium egyik korábbi alkalmazottját végezték ki, a vád ellene is hasonló volt.
„A kémkedés vádja miatti ítéletet hétfő reggel hajtották végre, hogy az országa elleni árulásának ügye örökké lezáruljon” – írta a bírósági híroldal, a Mizan Online.
A bíróság júniusban azt mondta, hogy Mazsdot már két éve letartóztatták, így nem működhetett közre a tábornok meggyilkolásában.
Irán hírszerzési minisztériuma tavaly júliusban azt írta, hogy 17 embert gyanúsítanak azzal, hogy a CIA-nek adnak el államtitkokat az iráni nukleáris- és hadiiparról. A minisztérium azt mondta, hogy közülük néhányat kivégeztek, de neveket nem mondtak, ahogy azt sem, hogy pontosan hányat.

A dél-iráni Busehr kikötőjében legalább hét hajó gyulladt ki – jelentette a Tasnim iráni hírügynökség szerdán.
A szerdai tűzeset a legutóbbi a június óta az iráni nukleáris és ipari létesítmények körül történt incidensek sorában – írta a Reuters brit hírügynökség. A hírügynökség jelentése szerint károkról egyelőre nem érkeztek jelentések.
Június vége óta több robbantás és tűzeset történt iráni katonai, nukleáris és ipari létesítmények közelében. Július 2-án a Natanzban működő földalatti atomlétesítményben csaptak fel a lángok.
Natanz az iráni urándúsító program legfontosabb létesítménye. Teherán szerint az urándúsítás kizárólag békés célokat szolgál. Nyugati hírszerző szervek és a Nemzetközi Atomenergia-ügynökség (NAÜ) szerint Iránnak összehangolt, titkos atomfegyver-programja volt, amelyet 2003-ban leállított. Teherán tagadja, hogy valaha is atomfegyverre kívánt volna szert tenni.
Az iráni hatóságok július 3-án közölték, hogy megállapították az urándúsítóban keletkezett tűz okát, de később fogják közölni. Egyes iráni vezetők szerint feltehetően kibertámadás történt, és figyelmeztettek, hogy Irán bármilyen elkövető ország ellen megtorló intézkedéseket hoz. Július elején az egyik írásában az IRNA hivatalos iráni hírügynökség arról írt, hogy a szabotázsakciók mögött olyan ellenségek állhatnak, mint Izrael vagy az Egyesült Államok, majd rövidesen felhagyott a közvetlen vádaskodással.
Az izraeli védelmi miniszter július 5-én kijelentette, hogy nem feltétlenül az országa áll a titokzatos iráni incidensek mögött.

Robbanás történt és tűz keletkezett a legfontosabb iráni nukleáris létesítmény területén. A Natanz urándúsítóban valószínűleg egy centrifugafejlesztéshez kapcsolódó épületben keletkezett kár, de az üzemeltetők szerint nincs ok aggodalomra.
„Tapasztaltunk némi strukturális sérülést, de hála Istennek senki nem vesztette életét. Nukleáris szennyezésről nem beszélhetünk, mert ebben a raktárban nem tároltunk nukleáris anyagokat, ellentétben azokkal a pletykákkal, amelyeket az ellenséges és ellenforradalmi média terjesztett” – mondta Behrúz Kamalvandi, az Iráni Atomenergia Szervezet szóvivője.
A sivatagban található natanzi telep Irán egyik legszigorúbban védett létesítménye, több csarnoka hét méter vastag betonfedél alatt van, hogy ne tehessenek bennük kárt esetleges légitámadások. Azt nem tudni, hogy pontosan mekkora problémát okozott a robbanás. A hivatalos iráni álláspont szerint az urándúsító centrifugáknak helyt adó föld alatti létesítményben nem esett kár.

Irán a baleset okáról semmit sem tudatott, ugyanakkor hírügynöksége, az IRNA olyan kommentárt közölt, amely szerint lehetséges, hogy szabotázs történt, és az akció mögött olyan ellenséges országok állhatnak, mint Izrael és az Egyesült Államok.
Az első bizonyítékok alapján könnyen lehet, hogy valóban szabotázs történt. A BBC értesülései szerint néhány dolgozó levelet kapott egy eddig ismeretlen szervezettől, amely vállalta a felelősséget a történtekért. A „hazai gepárdok” elnevezésű csoport azt állítja magáról, hogy az iráni hadsereg és a hírszerzés disszidenseiből áll, de egyelőre nincs igazolva, hogy a szervezet valóban létezik. Állításuk szerint azért támadták meg a telep föld feletti részét, hogy a teheráni kormány ne tudja eltussolni a történteket.
A natanzi urándúsító volt a célpontja a modern történelem eddigi legkifinomultabb kibertámadásának. A 2006-ban indított amerikai-izraeli akció több éven keresztül támadta a létesítmény informatikai rendszerét, és nagyjából ezer centrifugát tett tönkre. Az elmúlt napokban több iráni nukleáris létesítményben is rejtélyes eredetű tűz ütött ki. A szakértők szerint azonban a mostani történtek nem összevethetők a komplex és fedett amerikai-izraeli kibertámadással.

FORRÁS: AFP/AMIR KHOLOUSI Gázrobbanás történt kedden éjszaka egy teheráni klinikán, a balesetben legalább 19-en meghaltak és sokan megsérültek – írja a BBC.
Az iráni televízióban Hamidreza Goudarzi, Teherán kormányzójának helyettese azt mondta, hogy gázszivárgás lehetett a Sina Athar egészségügyi központban történt robbanás oka.
Az állami televízió képein látható volt, hogy az épületből füst száll fel. A tűzoltók később eloltották a lángokat és 20 embert sikerült kimenteniük az épületből.
A hatóságok szerint az áldozatok többsége nő, egy részük az épület felső emeletén tartózkodott, amikor a baleset történt. Félő, hogy a halálos áldoztok száma később emelkedni fog.
Néhány napja egy teheráni katonai bázisnál történt robbanás, a hatóságok szerint ott is gázszivárgás volt a baleset oka.
