Egy tisztviselő szerint fokozódtak a feszültségek Izrael és Irán között, amikor drón csapott le egy izraeli milliárdos olajszállító hajójára.
A támadás kedd este történt Omán partjainál – mondta a közel-keleti védelmi tisztviselő. A tisztviselő névtelenséget kérve nyilatkozott az Associated Pressnek, mivel nem rendelkezett felhatalmazással arra, hogy nyilvánosan beszéljen a támadásról.
Az Egyesült Királyság tengeri kereskedelmi műveleteit és a hajózást felügyelő brit katonai szervezet közölte, „tudomásunk van egy incidensről, és jelenleg vizsgáljuk az esetet”.
A tisztviselő a megtámadott hajót a libériai zászló alatt közlekedő Pacific Zircon olajszállító tartályhajóként azonosította. Ezt a tartályhajót a szingapúri székhelyű Eastern Pacific Shipping üzemelteti, amely cég végső soron az izraeli milliárdos Idan Ofer tulajdonában van.
Az utóbbi időben Izrael fokozta támadásait a damaszkuszi kormány ellenőrzése alatt álló repülőterek ellen, hogy megzavarja Irán ellátási útvonalait. A legutóbbi támadásban két szíriai katona meghalt, hárman megsebesültek.

Az izraeli biztonsági erők letartóztattak 18, terrortevékenységgel gyanúsított és körözött palesztint Ciszjordániában – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet.
Az elfogottak közül hárman az Oroszlánok Barlangja szervezet tagjai, izraeli biztonsági források szerint a csoport mintegy 20 merényletet követett el az elmúlt másfél hónapban.
A letartóztatásokat kedd estétől szerda délelőttig hajtották végre, és Ciszjordániában viszonylag nyugodtan fogadták, szemben az előző éjszakai rajtaütéssel, amelynek következtében heves tűzharc alakult ki izraeli katonák és az Oroszlánok Barlangja fegyveresei között. Szerdán csak Nábluszban dördültek el lövések.
Az egyik őrizetbe vettet azzal gyanúsítják, hogy részt vett egy szeptemberi támadásban, amelyben egy mozgó járműből adtak le lövéseket egy izraeli autóra. Egy másik, az Oroszlánok Barlangjával kapcsolatba hozott palesztin gyanúsítottat fegyverbirtoklásért tartóztattak le.
Izrael több mint hat hónapja próbálja éjszakai rajtaütésekkel megállítani a februárban kezdődött terrorhullámot, az utóbbi hetekben szinte minden éjjel tűzpárbaj tört ki az izraeli biztonsági erők és palesztin fegyveresek között Náblusz és Dzsenín térségében, és ezek gyakran palesztinok sebesülésével, esetenként halálával végződnek.
Izraeli katonák októberben eddig 25 palesztint öltek meg Ciszjordániában, és két izraeli katona vesztette életét. 2015 óta idén követelte a legtöbb halálos áldozatot a palesztin-izraeli viszály.
A ynet értesülései szerint Izrael az Oroszlánok Barlangjának teljes felszámolását próbálja elérni. Biztonsági források szerint a fegyveres terrorszervezet mindössze 20-30 állandó tagot számlál, de időről időre mások is csatlakoznak hozzájuk.
Izrael a múlt héten bejelentette, hogy megtagadja a beutazási és munkavállalási engedélyt 164 olyan palesztintól, akinek rokonai részt vesznek az Oroszlánok Barlangjának tevékenységében.
Izrael az 1967-es hatnapos háborúban foglalta el Jordániától Ciszjordániát, ahol több mint 130 települést alakított ki, noha a nemzetközi jog tiltja civilek be- és kitelepítését háborúban elfoglalt területek esetén. A palesztinok Ciszjordániában és a Gázai övezetben kívánják létrehozni saját külön államukat.

Tűzharcban meghalt egy izraeli katonatiszt és két palesztin fegyveres éjjel a ciszjordániai határnál, Dzseníntől északra – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet szerdán.
Az Izrael 1967 előtti területéről Ciszjordániába vezető dzsamlai átkelőhely közelében a katonai rádió értesülése szerint a palesztinok támadtak rá az izraeli katonákra. Korábban egy katonai őrszem a térfigyelő kamerák felvételén észrevette a határkerítéstől 15 méterre rejtőzködő palesztinokat – bár azt nem látta, hogy fegyverük is van –, és riasztott egy izraeli egységet, amely a határhoz sietett. A palesztinok tüzet nyitottak az izraeli katonákra, és a tűzharcban életét vesztette egy izraeli katonatiszt, valamint a két palesztin.
A palesztin média azonosította a palesztin áldozatokat: Ahmed Abed és Abdul Rahman Abed a Dzsenín melletti Kafr-Dan nevű faluból. Ahmed Abed a Palesztin Hatóság biztonsági szolgálatának hírszerzője volt.
Az izraeli hadsereg közlése szerint a palesztinok készülhettek arra, hogy izraeli katonákra lőjenek. Az összetűzés helyszínének közelében egy nappal korábban lövéseket adtak le egy katonai üzemeltetésű erőgépre is.
Az elmúlt hetekben jelentősen megnövekedett a feszültség főként Ciszjordánia északi részén, Dzsenín környékén, ahol az izraeli erők számos razziát tartottak terrortevékenységgel gyanúsított, körözött palesztinok letartóztatására.

A szemtanúk beszámolói szerint a Hamra nevű izraeli telepesfalu közelében a támadók egy gépjárműből lövéseket adtak le, és gyújtóbombát dobtak az elhaladó autóbuszra. A buszon utazó egyik katona súlyosan, öt társa könnyebben sebesült meg, az autóbusz civil sofőrje közepesen súlyosan sérült meg. A busz sebesült vezetője riasztotta a biztonságiakat, akik elzárták a forgalmat, és megkezdték a terroristák kézre kerítését.
A hadsereg szóvivője bejelentette, hogy elfogtak két, a merénylet elkövetésével gyanúsított palesztint, akiknek harmadik társa elmenekült, őt csapatok próbálják meg felkutatni. A terroristák járműve menekülés közben kigyulladt, a palesztinok is megsérültek, valószínűleg a gyújtóbomba dobása nyomán. A helyszínen több lőfegyvert is találtak.

A vasárnapi támadás helyszínén az elmúlt években nem volt hasonló terrormerénylet.
„Folytatjuk és fokozzuk a ciszjordániai terror elleni célzott akcióinkat” – mondta Beni Ganz védelmi miniszter, és reményét fejezte ki, hogy a sebesültek mielőbb felépülnek.

Izrael rakétatámadást hajtott végre szerdán az aleppói repülőtér ellen – jelentette a szíriai média egy nevének elhallgatását kérő katonai vezetőre hivatkozva.
A szír kormány áldozatokról nem tett említést.
A Nagy-Britanniába emigrált Emberi Jogi Szíriai Megfigyelő Központ (OSDH) aktivista szervezet közleménye szerint Izrael négy rakétát lőtt ki az aleppói nemzetközi repülőtér egyik kifutópályájára és a környező raktárakra.
Az OSDH szerint a raktárakban feltehetően iráni rakétaszállítmány volt.
Az elmúlt években Izrael több száz támadást hajtott végre a damaszkuszi kormány ellenőrzése alatt álló területen, de ritkán ismerte el vagy nyilatkozott ilyen támadásokról – írta az AP amerikai hírügynökség.
Az izraeli hadsereg nem nyilatkozott az aleppói repülőtér elleni szerdai támadásokról sem.
Izrael annyit ugyanakkor közölt, hogy a célpontjai az Iránnal szövetséges fegyveres csoportok – közöttük a libanoni Hezbollah – támaszpontjai.
A libanoni síita szervezet több ezer fegyverest küldött Basár el-Aszad szíriai elnök hadseregének támogatására.
Izrael vasárnap egy nyugat-szíriai katonai létesítményt támadott. A műholdas felvételeken látni lehetett, hogy a rakéták mekkora pusztítást vittek végbe a raktárban, amelyben az ellenzéki megfigyelő aktivista szervezet szerint Irán támogatta fegyveresek közepes hatótávolságú rakétáit tartották.
Júniusban izraeli légicsapások miatt átmenetileg le kellett állítani a damaszkuszi repülőtér forgalmát.

Az izraeli hadsereg felszámolta a Gázai övezetet irányító Hamász palesztin terrorszervezet újabb támadó alagútját az övezet északi résznél – jelentette a The Times of Israel című, angol nyelvű izraeli hírportál hétfőn.
A lapnak nyilatkozó tisztviselő szerint ezt az alagutat a tavaly májusi hadműveletben egyszer már elpusztították, de azóta a Hamász újjáépítette, és két új ágat toldott hozzá.
A járat behatolt Izrael felségterületére, de az izraeli területeken megépített, föld alatt is mélyen lenyúló betonfal miatt érdemben nem tudták átvezetni a határon, és nem jelentett veszélyt.
„A közelmúltban vettük észre, hogy erőfeszítéseket tettek a régi alagút nyomvonalának helyreállítására, és vizsgálatok után megtaláltuk az alagutat a két, Izraelbe hatoló új ágával együtt” – nyilatkozott Nimród Aloni tábornok, a gázai egység parancsnoka.
A hadsereg nem közölte, hogy pontosan milyen mély volt az alagút, de azt bejelentették, hogy Gáza város területén volt a bejárata. Hatalmas mennyiségű betont öntöttek a két járatba, és ezzel működésképtelenné tették azokat.
Izrael az utóbbi években épített csúcstechnológiájú érzékelőkkel ellátott, föld alatt is kiterjesztett betonfalrendszert, hogy megvédje déli városait a gázai alagutak ellen, amelyek korábban komoly biztonsági fenyegetést jelentettek. A föld felett pedig hat méter magas acélkerítést húztak fel izraeli területen belül, több tucat méterre a nemzetközi határtól. Emellett radarrendszerekkel, egyéb megfigyelő eszközökkel és távirányított fegyverekkel is bővítették a határ védelmét.
Izrael a múlt héten, az Iszlám Dzsihád terrorcsoporttal vívott háromnapos hadműveletben egy másik támadó alagutat is felszámolt a Gázai övezet déli részén, de a föld alatti fal miatt az szintén nem jutott át izraeli területre.

Péntek estétől szombat reggelig több mint 160 rakétát lőttek a Gázai övezet katonai szervezetei Izrael felé, Jeruzsálem egyhetes hadműveletre készül – jelentette szombat reggel a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet.
Fotó: MAHMUD HAMS / AFP) Éjjel is folytatódtak az Izrael elleni rakétatámadások, de a Vaskupola légvédelmi rendszer a katonai szóvivő szerint kilencvenöt százalékos hatékonysággal működik, sikeresen befogta az izraeli lakott területekre irányzott lövedékeket. A 160-ból mintegy harminc palesztin rakéta a Gázai övezetben ért földet.
A péntek délután bejelentett Hajnalhasadás hadműveletben Izrael az Iszlám Dzsihád terrorszervezet több tucat gázai célpontját lőtte, köztük legkevesebb hat fegyverkészítő műhelyt, két fegyverraktárt, hat megfigyelő állomást és öt rakétakilövő helyet.
Ciszjordániában letartóztatták az Iszlám Dzsihád mintegy 20 aktivistáját, köztük az ismert Nadzsah Kabaibát, akit korábban már fogva tartottak izraeli börtönben. Az őrizetbe vételek során nem történtek sebesülések.
„Ha szükséges, akkor nem Dzsabari lesz az utolsó célpont” – közölte az izraeli hadvezetés, a harcokat péntek délután elindító célzott légicsapásra utalva, amelyben kivégezték Tajszir Dzsabarit, az Iszlám Dzsihád szervezet egyik legfontosabb katonai parancsnokát. Az izraeli támadásokban a Gázai övezetben eddig legkevesebb tíz ember vesztette életét, köztük 2-3 civil, – egyikük egy 5 éves kislány volt, – s legkevesebb 80-an megsebesültek.
Az izraeli légicsapásokban megölték Abdullah Kadomot, az Iszlám Dzsihád páncélelhárító rendszerének vezetőjét is. „Ők ketten (Dzsabarival) álltak a támadásos fenyegetések mögött a Gázai övezetben” – közölte az izraeli hadsereg.
Az övezetet irányító iszlamista Hamász szervezet mindeddig nem avatkozott be a harcokba, nem indított rakétákat. A lap korábbi értesülései szerint Jeruzsálem egyiptomi közvetítéssel megpróbálja megakadályozni a Hamász részvételét.
Viszont két másik szervezet csatlakozott az Iszlám Dzsihádhoz: az övezet harmadik legnagyobb tömörülése, az Ellenállási Bizottságok, amelyet a második intifáda, vagyis palesztin felkelés idején, a kétezres évek elején hoztak létre a Hamász, a Fatah és az Iszlám Dzsihád korábbi tagjai, valamint a Fatah párt gázai fegyveres alakulata, a Suhada al-Aksza.
Az izraeli haderők bejelentették, hogy egyelőre nem folynak tárgyalások az Iszlám Dzsiháddal a harcok beszüntetéséről. „Egyhetes akcióra készülünk” – hangsúlyozta a hadsereg szóvivője. „Ezt határozta meg számunkra a politikai vezetés és a vezérkari főnök” – tette hozzá.
Izraelben gázai rakétatámadásoktól tartva megtiltották a fürdőzést a földközi-tengeri partoknál, s rendkívüli óvintézkedéseket vezettek be elsősorban a Gázai övezethez közeli térségben. Az övezet közvetlen szomszédságában az óvóhelyeken töltötték a péntekről szombatra virradó éjszakát az izraeliek.
A zsidó ellenzéki pártok támogatásukról biztosították a kormányt és a hadsereget, az arab pártok Közös Listája viszont elítélte az izraeli vezetést a Hajnalhasadás hadművelet megindításáért.
„Az Egyesült Államok szilárdan hisz abban, hogy Izraelnek joga van megvédeni magát” – írta twitter fiókjában Tom Neides, az Egyesült Államok izraeli nagykövete. „Kapcsolatban állunk különböző felekkel, és nyugalomra szólítunk fel minden érintettet” – tette hozzá.
„Izrael azon dolgozik, hogy megvédje magát és polgárait, és céljának elérése érdekében célzottan és határozottan fog fellépni a terroristák és a terrorizmus elkövetői ellen„ – közölte Beni Ganz védelmi miniszter a Lloyd Austin amerikai védelmi miniszterrel folytatott megbeszélésen. Ganz operatív információkat adott át a hadműveletről, valamint a Gázai övezet békéjének és stabilitásának helyreállítására tett erőfeszítésekről.
Izrael péntek délután Hajnalhasadás néven indított hadműveletet a Gázai övezetben az Iszlám Dzsihád ellen, mert a terrorszervezet több napja megtorlással fenyegetőzött, miután ezen a héten letartóztatták egyik magas rangú ciszjordániai tisztviselőjét, Bassam al-Szaadit.
Izrael az utóbbi négy napban a fenyegetések miatt utakat zárt le az övezethez közeli területeken, és „különleges helyzetet” hirdetett óvatossági rendszabályokkal a helyi civil lakosság számára.
Izrael és Egyiptom 2007, a Hamász dzsihadista mozgalom hatalomátvétele óta tartja szigorú blokád alatt a 2,3 millió palesztin lakta övezetet, ahol a lakosság szegénységben és munkanélküliségben él.
Az izraeli hadsereg kedden lezárta a határátkelőket, így az izraeli munkavállalási engedéllyel rendelkező gázaiak ezrei rekedtek a lakóhelyükön. A határzár miatt lassult a gázai erőmű működéséhez szükséges dízel szállítása is. A létesítmény igazgatója csütörtökön figyelmeztetett, hogy üzemanyag híján leállhat az egyetlen villamoserőmű.
Izrael és a Gázai övezet fegyveres szervezetei között több háború is volt, a legutóbbi 2021 májusában. A tizenegy napos háborúban 260 palesztin – közöttük számos fegyveres –, valamint 13 izraeli, közöttük egy katona halt meg a helyi hatóságok szerint.

Hadműveletet indított az izraeli hadsereg Hajnalhasadás néven a Gázai övezet iszlamista szervezetei ellen pénteken, megölték az Iszlám Dzsihád nevű terrorszervezet katonai vezetőjét – jelentette a helyi médiára hivatkozva az MTI.
Pénteken délután a Gázai övezet egyik magas épületét izraeli rakétatámadás érte, amelyben életét vesztette Tajszir Dzsabari, az Iszlám Dzsihád szervezet egyik katonai parancsnoka, valamint a szervezet mintegy 15 fegyverese, akik a katonai rádió híradása szerint rakéták kilövésére készültek az izraeli csapást követően a szomszédos izraeli területek ellen.
Az izraeli hadsereg polgári védelmi parancsnoksága Vaskupola légvédelmi egységeket telepített Jeruzsálem, Tel-Aviv és Beér-Seva körzetében a civilek védelmére, a gázai övezet körzetében pedig megnyitották az óvóhelyeket. A gázai egészségügyi tisztviselők szerint legalább négyen meghaltak az izraeli légicsapásban, további tizenöten megsebesültek. Az Iszlám Dzsihád megerősítette, hogy az elhunytak között volt Tajszir Dzsabari, a szervezet 2019-ben megölt katonai főnökének, Baha Abu al-Atának az utóda.
Dzsabari a szervezet katonai szárnyának vezetője volt a Gázai övezet északi részén, valamint ő felelt a hadműveletekért és a kapcsolattartásért az övezetet irányító Hamásszal. A közelmúltban izraeli katonai és polgári célpontok lövését szorgalmazta.
„Az ellenség háborút kezdett népünk ellen és ellenünk, s mi meg fogjuk védeni magunkat és népünket” – jelentette ki az Iszlám Dzsihád közleménye. „Ez a nap a győzelemre hivatott, s az ellenségnek meg kell értenie, hogy megadás nélküli háború lesz. Nincsenek átléphetetlen határvonalaink, és nincs mód a megállásra” – mondta az Iszlám Dzsihád vezetője, Ziad al-Nakhala az izraeli hadművelet megindulása után.
Az izraeli hadsereg szóvivői szerint az izraeli repülőgépek katonai bázisokat és más, az Iszlám Dzsihád által használt épületeket vettek célba. Pénteken a Gázai övezet határához vitték az elit Golani-egységeket és egy páncéloshadtestet, valamint tartalékosokat mozgósítottak. „A kormány nem engedi, hogy terrorszervezetek határozzák meg a Gázai övezet napirendjét, és fenyegessék Izrael állampolgárait” – mondta Lapid a Gázai övezet izraeli bombázása után.
A légicsapások előtt Jaír Lapid miniszterelnök és Beni Ganz védelmi miniszter megbeszélést tartott, melyen felmérték a gázai biztonsági helyzetet.
A gázai övezet szomszédságában szombat este 8-ig az óvóhelyek közelében kell tartózkodniuk az izraelieknek, szüneteltetik az oktatást, és legfeljebb tíz főig gyülekezhetnek az emberek. 80 kilométeres körzetben szabad térben csak tízen, zárt helyeken legfeljebb százan gyűlhetnek össze, és szintén zárva tartanak az iskolák, óvodák.
A Hajnalhasadás hadművelet kezdete előtt az Iszlám Dzsihád több napja megtorlással fenyegetőzött, mert ezen a héten letartóztatták egyik magas rangú ciszjordániai tisztviselőjét, Bassam al-Szaadit.
Izrael az utóbbi négy napban a fenyegetések miatt utakat zárt le az övezethez közeli területeken, és „különleges helyzetet” hirdetett óvatossági rendszabályokkal a helyi civil lakosság számára.

A helyi sajtó szerint a villa tulajdonosai hibáztak, mikor engedély nélkül építtettek medencét egy ismert problémákkal rendelkező helyre.
Gondatlanság miatt kell bíróság elé állni annak a 60 év körüli házaspárnak, akik az izraeli Karmi Yosefben helyszínt biztosítottak egy céges rendezvény számára, a medence alatt azonban víznyelő nyílt meg, ami a halálba rántotta az egyik fürdőző vendéget.
Az incidensről készült mobiltelefonos felvételeken látható, ahogyan fürdőruhás emberek állnak egy csaknem üres medencében és környékén, és döbbenten nézik, ahogyan egy nagy lyuk elnyeli a vizet, magával húzva a felfújható tárgyakat.
Az összejövetelen körülbelül 50 ember vett részt, de a medence aljának megnyílásakor csak hatan tartózkodtak a vízben, ennek köszönhetően nem történt még nagyobb tragédia. A víz még egy embert magával rántott, neki azonban sikerült kimásznia, és csak könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett.
A BBC értesülései szerint a 32 éves áldozat a cég egyik alkalmazottja, Klil Kimhi volt, a mentőcsapatoknak pedig négy órájába telt, mire elérték őt a 13 méteres mélységben.
A helyi sajtó arról számolt be, hogy a balesetet az okozhatta, hogy a háztulajdonos engedély nélkül építtette meg a medencét a helyszínen, amelynek ismert infrastrukturális problémái voltak.
