Angliában egy 31 éves nő magára hagyta a 9 éves kisfiát egy lakókocsiban a barátnője kutyájával, amíg ők egy másik lakókocsiban ittak és drogoztak. A kutya éjszaka valamiért rátámadt a gyerekre és ötvennégy helyen megharapta. A kisfiú elvérzett. Az anya és a kutya gazdája is letöltendő börtönbüntetést kapott
Tavaly áprilisban az angliai Cornwallban történt az eset. Egy lakókocsiparkban bulizott éjszaka a 31 éves Tawney Willis és 29 éves barátnője másokkal együtt.
A 31 éves nő a 9 éves fiát egy másik lakókocsiban hagyta barátnője 45 kilós kutyájával, arra az időre, amíg kábítószert vett és bulizott.
A nő tudta, hogy a kutya korábban már megharapott egy gyereket, méghozzá olyan súlyosan, hogy orvoshoz kellett vinni, ennek ellenére mellette hagyta a fiút.
A nyomozás során az is kiderült, hogy a tragédiát megelőző napon látták, hogy a fiú ráfúj a kutya orrára, akinek ez egyértelműen nem tetszett.
Amikor a nő hajnalban hazament, akkor vette észre, hogy a kutya szétmarcangolta a fiát.
Az arcán és a nyakán harapott a kutya,
a fiút percek alatt elvérezhetett. A kutyát elaltatták. A bíró szerint hatalmas felelőtlenség volt magára hagyni a gyereket a veszélyes állattal. A bíró gondatlanság miatt két év börtönre ítéle az asszony, a kutya gazdáját pedig három évre, amellett, hogy 10 évre eltiltották a kutyatartástól.

A városi tanács szerint a szobor nem maradhatott a kikötőt fenekén, ahol a vizet hajók is használják.
Azt Marvin Rees, Bristol polgármestere már korábban bejelentette, hogy ledöntött szobrot a tiltakozók „Black Lives Matter” tematikájú plakátjaival együtt egy múzeumban fogják kiállítani. A polgármester fontosnak tartja, hogy a szobor és a táblák együtt állítsanak emléket a rabszolgatartás 300 éves történetének és a jelenlegi, faji egyenlőségért folytatott küzdelemnek.
Ahogy korábban írtuk, a George Floyd halálát követő tüntetések során a nyugat-angliai Bristolban vasárnap ledöntötték és a kikötőben a vízbe dobták Edward Colston egykori rabszolga-kereskedő szobrát. A Bristolban született Colston 1680-ban a Nyugat-Afrikából az amerikai kontinensre irányuló angol rabszolga-kereskedelem monopóliuma, a Royal African Company tagja, 1689-ben alkormányzója lett.

Pedig az 1837 és 1901 között uralkodó Viktória királynőről (Viktória királynő és Abdul címen) még egy propagandafilmet is készítettek a közelmúltban, amelyben az alkotók éppen azt próbálták bemutatni, hogy milyen jól viszonyult a más kultúrákból érkezőkhöz. Ezek szerint ez nem jutott el a BLM tagjainak tudatáig.
Jelzésértékű, hogy az antifák és a BLM-aktivisták éppen a szövetséges erők második világháború során történt normandiai partraszállása évfordulójára (D-Day) időzítették a szoborrongálást, ami hatalmas felháborodást keltett a britekben.
Korábbi cikkünkben beszámoltunk róla, hogy az amerikai radikális baloldali tiltakozásoknak két fő szervezője van, a Black Lives Matter és az Antifa. Mindkét szervezet egyértelműen köthető Soros Györgyhöz. Előbbiről a Washington Times írta meg, hogy legalább 33 millió dollárt kapott az alapítványától.

George Floyd meggyilkolására emlékezve Nagy-Britannia-szerte tüntetéseket tartottak a rendőri erőszak és rasszizmus ellen, Londontól Nottinghamen át Manchesterig békés és kevésbé békés tömegrendezvényeken több ezren demonstráltak.
Londonban a tüntetők vasárnap este az amerikai nagykövetségtől a kormányzati negyedbe, a parlament elé és a miniszterelnöki hivatalnak otthont nyújtó Downing Streethez vonultak, itt azonban rendőrsorfal állította meg a menetet. A tüntetés nagyrészt békés volt, de több csoport fémkorlátokkal, kövekkel kezdte dobálni a rendőröket, akik ezután visszaszorították a parlament közeléből a tömeget.
Cressida Dick, a Scotland Yard – a londoni rendőrség – főparancsnoka vasárnap esti közleményében tudatta, hogy a londoni megmozdulások kezdete óta eddig 27 rendőr sérült meg, közülük 14 a hétvégén. Különösen heves összecsapások voltak szombat este a Downing Street közvetlen közelében, ahol a tüntetők közül többen tűzijáték-rakétákkal, petárdákkal, kövekkel támadtak a rendőrökre.
Az egyik megbokrosodott rendőrségi ló ledobta lovasát, egy rendőrnőt, akit kórházba kellett szállítani. A ló ezután a tömegbe rohant, ahol szintén többen megsérültek. A Scotland Yard főparancsnoka közölte, hogy a megmozdulások számos résztvevőjét őrizetbe vették és nekik bíróság előtt kell felelniük a rendőrök elleni erőszakos fellépésért.
A nyugat-angliai Bristolban vasárnap a tüntetők ledöntötték és a kikötőben a vízbe dobták Edward Colston egykori rabszolgakereskedő szobrát. A Bristolban született Colston 1680-ban a Nyugat-Afrikából az amerikai kontinensre irányuló angol rabszolgakereskedelem monopóliuma, a Royal African Company tagja, 1689-ben alkormányzója lett. A II. Károly király alapította Royal African Company becslések szerint legalább 85 ezer afrikai rabszolgát – köztük nőket és gyerekeket – szállított Amerikába.
Colston megítélése rendkívül ellentmondásos és vitatott. A rabszolgakereskedelemben játszott szerepe miatt sokan – köztük történészek is – régóta követelték szobrának eltávolítását és személyiségének átértékelését. Miután azonban vagyonának jelentős részét Bristol felvirágoztatására és jótékonysági célokra fordította, a nyugat-angliai nagyvárosban máig számos közintézmény és utca viseli nevét. Priti Patel brit belügyminiszter vasárnap esti nyilatkozatában „szégyenteljes vandalizmusnak” nevezte a szobor ledöntését.
Május 25-én Minneapolisban négy rendőr igazoltatás után földre teperte a 46 éves George Floydot, és egyikük percekig térdelt a nyakán, miután a férfi egy hamis 20 dollárossal próbált fizetni. A férfi levegőért könyörgött, de hiába, és a kórházba szállítás közben meghalt. A rendőröket elbocsátották, és később vádat is emeltek ellenük. Az eset után tüntetéshullám söpört végig az Egyesült Államokon, és a világ számos országában tiltakozásokat tartottak.

A szombaton ismertetett legújabb statisztika szerint Nagy-Britanniában meghaladta a húszezret az új koronavírus okozta járvány halálos áldozatainak száma.
Az egészségügyi minisztérium bejelentése szerint az elmúlt 24 órában 813 halálesetről számoltak be a brit kórházak.
Ez azt jelenti, hogy az országban eddig 20 319-en haltak meg a SARS-CoV-2 vírus okozta Covid-19 betegségben.
A nagy-britanniai járvány egy hét alatt csaknem ötezer új halálos áldozatot szedett a múlt szombati adatismertetésben szereplő 15 464 meghalt beteghez képest.
Stephen Powis, a brit állami egészségügyi szolgálat (NHS) angliai orvosigazgatója nemrég egy sajtóértekezleten még azt mondta, ha a járvány halálos áldozatainak számát sikerül húszezer alatt tartani, az nagyon jó eredmény lenne.
Anthony Costello, a University College London egyetem egészségügyi kutatóintézetének igazgatója a londoni alsóház minapi meghallgatásán azonban nem zárta ki, hogy Nagy-Britanniában akár 40 ezer halálos áldozata is lehet a Covid-19 járványnak.

Intenzív osztályon kezelik Boris Johnson brit miniszterelnököt, akit az új koronavírus okozta betegség miatt szállítottak kórházba. A Downing Street hétfő este közölte, hogy Johnson állapota romlott, de jelenleg nem szorul művi lélegeztetésre.
A londoni miniszterelnöki hivatal szóvivője szerint Johnson kérésére Dominic Raab külügyminiszter vette át a miniszterelnöki feladatok ellátását.
Johnsonról március 26-án állapították meg, hogy megfertőződött a Covid-19 járványt okozó SARS-CoV-2 nevű vírussal, miután a vírus okozta betegség enyhe tüneteit észlelte magán.
A kormányfőt azonban vasárnap este a londoni St. Thomas kórházba szállították, miután betegségének egyes tünetei meglehetősen makacsnak bizonyultak. E tünetek közé tartozik a magas láz. A Downing Street szóvivője még hétfő délután is azt hangsúlyozta, hogy Johnsont nem sürgősséggel, hanem kivizsgálásra vitték kórházba orvosának tanácsára.
Napközben Boris Johnson maga is azt tudatta a Twitteren közzétett üzenetében, hogy jó hangulatban van, dolgozik, és folyamatosan tartja a kapcsolatot kormányának és stábjának tagjaival.
A kormányfői hivatal illetékesének esti beszámolója szerint azonban a miniszterelnök állapota romlott, és az őt kezelő orvosi stáb javaslatára intenzív osztályra vitték át.
A Downing Street szóvivője szerint jóllehet Johnson jelenleg nem szorul művi lélegeztetésre, abból a meggondolásból vitték át az intenzív osztályra, hogy ha mégis lélegeztetőgépre lenne szüksége, az a közelében legyen.
A szóvivő hangsúlyozta, hogy a konzervatív párti miniszterelnök eszméleténél van, és személyesen kérte meg Dominic Raab külügyminisztert, hogy gyógykezelésének idejére vegye át a miniszterelnöki feladatok ellátását.
Hozzátette: Johnson kitűnő orvosi ellátásban részesül.
A jelenlegi brit kormányban nincs miniszterelnök-helyettesi tisztség, de Dominic Raab az „első miniszter” – First Secretary of State – címet is viseli. Ez azt jelenti, hogy rangban az összes többi kabinettag felett áll, és így gyakorlatilag Boris Johnson után a brit kormány második legmagasabb rangú tagja.
Raab hétfő este a BBC televíziónak adott rövid nyilatkozatában megerősítette: Johnson személyesen kérte meg, hogy vegye át a miniszterelnöki feladatok ellátását.
A külügyminiszter elmondta: a kormány folytatja munkáját, a miniszterelnök biztos kezekben van, ragyogó orvosi stáb kezeli, és a kormányzati munka továbbra is a koronavírus okozta járvány leküzdésére összpontosul.
Hozzátette: a kormány „hihetetlenül erős csapatszellemmel áthatva” sorakozik fel a miniszterelnök mögött és mindent megtesz Boris Johnson utasításainak végrehajtására.
Hétfő este a brit politikai pártok vezetői egymás után kívántak mielőbbi gyógyulást a kormányfőnek.
Jókívánságait fejezte ki Sir Keir Starmer, a legnagyobb brit ellenzéki erő, a Munkáspárt újonnan megválasztott vezetője és Nicola Sturgeon skót miniszterelnök is, akinek egyébként folyamatosan éles vitái vannak Johnsonnal a brit EU-tagság megszűnése (Brexit) és a skót kormány által szorgalmazott újabb függetlenségi népszavazás kiírása ügyébe
Sturgeon a Twitteren közzétett üzenetében közölte: az ő és a Skóciában kormányzó Skót Nemzeti Párt (SNP) gondolatai most a brit miniszterelnökkel és családjával vannak. „Reméljük és kívánjuk gyors felépülését” – írta a skót miniszterelnök.
Carrie Symonds, Boris Johnson várandós élettársa a hétvégén, ugyancsak a Twitteren közzétett bejegyzésben tudatta, hogy ő is észleli magán a koronavírus-fertőzés fő tüneteit, és emiatt az elmúlt hetet ágyban töltötte.
Hozzátette, hogy nem volt szükség szűrővizsgálatra, és az egyheti ágynyugalom után már erősebbnek érzi magát, állapota javult.
Boris Johnson szóvivője február végén jelentette be, hogy a 32 éves Carrie Symonds – akit a kormányfő nemrégiben eljegyzett – várandós, és a pár közös gyermekének születése a nyár elejére várható.

Kórházba szállították vasárnap Boris Johnson brit miniszterelnököt, akiről tíz napja állapították meg, hogy az új típusú koronavírus okozta betegségben szenved.
A londoni kormányfői hivatal szóvivője vasárnap este közölte: csak elővigyázatossági lépésről van szó, amelyet Johnson orvosa javasolt, miután a konzervatív párti miniszterelnök esetében a betegség egyes tünetei meglehetősen makacsnak bizonyultak. E tünetek közé tartozik a magas láz.
A Downing Street szóvivője hangsúlyozta, hogy Johnsont nem sürgősséggel, hanem kivizsgálásra vitték kórházba. Hozzátette: a kitartó tünetek miatt az a döntés született, hogy észszerű lenne, ha kórházi orvosok is megvizsgálnák a kormányfőt.
A szóvivő kiemelte azt is, hogy Boris Johnson változatlanul ellátja miniszterelnöki feladatait és kapcsolatban van kabinetje tagjaival.
Hozzátette: Johnson ezúttal is köszönetet mond a brit állami egészségügyi szolgálat (NHS) tagjainak a járvány megfékezését célzó rendkívüli munkájukért, egyben ismét arra szólítja fel az embereket, hogy a kormány útmutatásának megfelelően maradjanak otthonaikban.
Az 55 éves Johnsonról március 26-án állapították meg, hogy megfertőződött a Covid-19 járványt okozó SARS-CoV-2 nevű vírussal, miután a vírus okozta betegség enyhe tüneteit észlelte magán.
Az eredeti terv alapján a brit kormányfő elkülönítése péntekig tartott volna. Johnson azonban már csütörtökön bejelentette a Twitteren közzétett videóüzenetében, hogy még elkülönítésben kell maradnia, mivel nem épült fel teljesen a betegségből, továbbra is észleli a fertőzés egyes tüneteit.
Carrie Symonds, Johnson várandós élettársa szombaton, ugyancsak a Twitteren közzétett bejegyzésben tudatta, hogy ő is észleli magán a koronavírus-fertőzés fő tüneteit, és emiatt az elmúlt hetet ágyban töltötte.
Hozzátette, hogy nem volt szükség szűrővizsgálatra, és az egyheti ágynyugalom után már erősebbnek érzi magát, állapota javul.
Boris Johnson szóvivője február végén jelentette be, hogy a 32 éves Carrie Symonds – akit a kormányfő nemrégiben eljegyzett – várandós, és a pár gyermekének születése a nyár elejére várható.
Az új koronavírus okozta betegségen átesett az elmúlt napokban Matt Hancock brit egészségügyi miniszter és Károly trónörökös, II. Erzsébet királynő 71 éves fia is, de ők már felépültek, és elkülönítésük véget ért.
