Правозахисники та активісти із захисту навколишнього середовища заблокували будівлю міністерства енергетики Норвегії на знак протесту проти вітряних турбін, побудованих на території проживання корінної меншини саамів (лапарів).
Кілька десятків громадян, у тому числі шведська екологічна активістка Ґрета Тунберг, перекрили головний вхід до будівлі. Учасники демонстрації вийшли на протест, оскільки дві вітряні електростанції в центральній частині скандинавської країни все ще працюють, хоча у 2021 році Верховний суд Норвегії постановив, що робота турбін руйнує стародавній спосіб життя оленярів-саамів, а це порушує права нацменшин, які захищаються міжнародними конвенціями.

Мережа міжнародних та українських активістів Ukraine Solidarity Project звинуватила Red Bull у тому, що він «дав путіну крила», продовжуючи працювати в країні-терористі.
На сайті компанії Red Bull заявила, що «припинила всю маркетингову діяльність та нові інвестиції в росії на початку березня і дотримується всіх санкцій ЄС та США». Проте напій залишився на полицях у країні, тоді як Pepsi та Coca-Cola пішли з ринку.
Активісти прийшли до штаб-квартири Red Bull у Зальцбурзі, Австрія, і звинуватили службу безпеки в тому, що вони більше «стурбовані тим, що ми наступимо на траву, ніж війна в Україні».

Екоактивісти зібралися в міжнародному аеропорту «Схіпхол» в Амстердамі й вимагали обмежити використання приватних літаків, які, на їхню думку, найбільше забруднюють природу.
Близько пів тисячі протестувальників у суботу перелізли через огорожу летовища. Частина з них прив’язали себе ланцюгами до приватних літаків, інші в терміналі аеропорту звертали увагу тих, хто готувався до вильоту, на екологічну шкоду, яку завдає авіасполучення.
Учасники протесту, проведеного напередодні майже двотижневого саміту ООН зі зміни клімату COP27, що розпочався в неділю в Шарм-ель-Шейху в Єгипті, вимагали зменшити кількість літаків, розвивати залізничний транспорт, а також припинити «непотрібні» короткі рейси та обмежити використання приватних літаків.
Незважаючи на заклик поліції, значна частина демонстрантів не залишила місця події. Тож близько 200 учасників протесту затримали.
Активісти намагалися привернути увагу до надмірного використання приватних літаків. За даними міжнародної природоохоронної організації Greenpace, популярність приватних рейсів на курорти після спалаху коронавірусу стрімко зросла, і вони стали приносити ще більше шкоди навколишньому середовищу. При цьому такі перельоти можна легко замінити.
Згідно з даними компаній, які видають в оренду літаки, клієнти прагнуть уникати переповнених авіалайнерів і багатогодинного очікування. Як свідчать дослідження, за перші 9 місяців 2022 року з аеропортів Амстердама й Роттердама вилетіло 16 147 приватних рейсів, тоді як за весь 2019 рік їх було лише 14 672.

Учасники анархістської групи Just Stop Oil кинули й розмазали шоколадний торт на обличчі воскової статуї Чарльза ІІІ в паноптикумі мадам Тюссо в Лондоні.
Зловмисниками стали 20-річна художниця Ейлід Макфадден і 29-річний декоратор Том Джонсон, які у такий спосіб вимагали від Великобританії відмовитися від використання викопного палива та приділити більше уваги екологічній політиці.
Обох їх затримала поліція, яка прибула на місце події. У зв’язку з інцидентом поліція висунула підозру чотирьом особам у вандалізмі. Екозахисна організація Just Stop Oil виступила із заявою, в якій взяла на себе відповідальність за вчинок.
На початку жовтня Just Stop Oil розпочав серію операцій, під час яких активісти щодня намагаються паралізувати чи уповільнити повсякденне життя Лондона. Вони протестують проти планів британського уряду видавати нові ліцензії на видобуток сирої нафти та газу, щоб зменшити ризики енергопостачання.
Нещодавно картину Вінсента Ван Гога «Соняшники» в Британській національній галереї облили томатним супом, а фасад дилерського центру Aston Martin зіпсували фарбою з балончика.
У неділю інша екологічна група, організація під назвою Last Generation, провела подібну акцію в музеї в Потсдамі, Німеччина. Тоді картину Клода Моне «Стоги сіна» покрили картопляним пюре.

Понад 20 неурядових організацій вимагають заборонити нафтовим компаніям використовувати рекламу, оскільки таким чином вони «перефарбовують» свою діяльність у зелений колір та замасковують її справжню природу, передає інформаційний портал Világgazdaság з посиланням на Euronews.
Акція розпочалася з того, що 80 активістів із 12 країн Європейського Союзу перекрили головний термінал Shell у порту Роттердама. Представники Greenpeace заблокували водні шляхи до нафтопереробного заводу Shell Pernis, який є найбільшим у Європі. Екологи вимагають заборонити в Європі спонсорство і рекламу нафтових, поромних, автомобільних та авіаційних компаній, які використовують викопне паливо.
Протестувальники хочуть досягти того, щоб, як і тютюнові вироби, нафтові компанії не рекламували себе. Як показало дослідження Greenpeace та DeSmog, котрі перевірили понад 3000 оголошень шести компаній, вони використовують рекламу для приховування власної діяльності та просування неефективних рішень.
Існує величезний розрив між зеленими ініціативами в рекламі та реальністю: 63% оголошень рекламують нафтових гігантів як зелені компанії, тоді як 96% інвестицій, наприклад ВР, продовжують вказувати на нафту та природний газ.
Будучи одним із найбільших забруднювачів у світі, Shell також використовує понад 80% своїх оголошень для «перефарбування» в зелений. Компанії не змінюють свою практику, незважаючи на її негативні наслідки. Наприклад, Exxon, яка знала про вплив на клімат ще в 1982 році.
