Megdöbbentő látványban volt része egy szolgálatba igyekvő rendőrnek szerda hajnalban Berlin Neukölln kerületének Gropiusstadt városrészében, amikor egy csecsemő holttestére bukkant az utcán. A Bild német napilap beszámolója szerint a gyermekre mintegy öt óra körül találtak rá a Kölner Damm járdáján.
A szolgálatba tartó rendőr azonnal riasztotta kollégáit, akik rövid időn belül jelentős erőkkel vonultak a helyszínre. A nyomozás koordinálását a gyilkossági osztály vette át, majd helyszínelők kezdték meg a bizonyítékok részletes felkutatását a tragédia helyszínén.
A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a csecsemő életkorának és a halál okának pontos megállapítása érdekében igazságügyi boncolást rendeltek el. A hatóságok emellett széles körű nyomozást indítottak az elhunyt csecsemő édesanyjának felkutatására.
A helyszíni szemle során modern technikai eszközöket is bevetettek, többek között egy rendőrségi drónt használtak légi felvételek készítésére. A nyomozást a Vöröskereszt keresőkutyáinak bevetésével is segítették, derül ki a Bild beszámolójából.

Többen megsebesültek kedden a német főváros Berlin-Charlottenburg nevű városrészében egy feltehetően késeléses támadásban, két embert kórházba kellett szállítani – közölte a helyi rendőrség szóvivője.
Első értesülések szerint egy férfi támadt járókelőkre az utcán. A rendőrség szerint a támadó késsel ronthatott rá az emberekre.
A rendvédelmi szerveket déltájban riasztották a helyszínre, ahol sikerült elfogni a feltételezett elkövetőt.

A német szövetségi rendőrség és a regionális tűzoltó-parancsnokságok fokozott készültséggel készülnek a szilveszteri „rendkívüli helyzetre”. Berlinben és Stuttgart térségében már sor került az első összetűzésekre a maszkot viselő petárdázók és a rendfenntartók között.
Ismeretlen tettesek tűzijáték-petárdát lőttek ki egy rendőrautóra a német főváros Kreuzberg városrészében vasárnap este. Egy fekete álarcot viselő személy előbb egy faléccel dobta meg a piros lámpánál megálló járőrautót, majd a szintén maszkos társai pirotechnikai eszközöket lőttek ki a rendőrautó irányába – számolt be a Die Welt online kiadása hétfőn.

Különösen nagy mennyiségű illegális pirotechnikai eszköz érkezett Csehországból. A rendőrség közlése szerint a múlt hétvégén 23 esetben összesen 369 engedély nélküli tűzijátékot foglaltak le. Neustadt környékén több száz petárdát, rakétát és kilövőállványokat foglaltak le, emellett több mint 43 kilogrammnyi robbanóanyaggal töltött rakétát is elkoboztak a fináncok.

Berlinben szerdán a rendőrök egy férfit ellenőrizni akartak Neukölln városrész városi gyorsvasútpályaudvarán délután, ám elmenekült, hátrahagyva táskáját, melyben robbanószert találtak. A szökésben lévő férfi után hajtóvadászat indult – közölték a német főváros rendvédelmi hatóságai az X-en.
A táskát a rendőrök egy közeli parkolóba vitték és a környéket lezárták, majd a táskát és tartalmát este tűzszerészek robbantották fel, ellenőrzött körülmények között. A B.Z. tartományi lap szerint erősen robbanásveszélyes anyagról volt szó, amelynek hangja a robbantáskor több száz méterre is elhallatszott. A hatóságok közölték, hogy a nyomozás minden irányba elindult, de egyelőre nincs arra utaló jel, hogy egy tervezett terrorcselekményt sikerült volna elhárítani.
A nyomozásba ugyanakkor bevonták a tartományi bűnüldözési hivatal politikai indíttatású erőszakos cselekmények ügyében illetékes állambiztonsági szolgálatát.

A férfi a rendőrség gyanúja szerint kapcsolatban áll az Iszlám Állam nevű szervezettel, de merénylettervéről a hatóságok egyelőre nem sokat tudnak saját bevallásuk szerint, csak annyit, hogy lőfegyverrel akart támadni. A gyanúsítottat szombaton vették őrizetbe Berlin Bernau nevű peremkerületében. Hétfőn szövetségi vizsgálóbíró elé állítják, és a bíró eldönti, hogy továbbra is őrizetben kell-e tartani. A Bild című lap értesülése szerint egy külföldi hírszerző szolgálat figyelmeztette Németországot a veszélyre. A német terrorelhárítók Sankt Augustin városban is rajtaütést hajtottak végre egy lakásban az üggyel kapcsolatban.

Ezrek vonultak fel csütörtökön „Soha többé háborút” felhívással Berlinben a német egység napján.
A tüntetők transzparensein egyebek között „Gránátok helyett diplomaták”, illetve „Állítsátok meg a háborút azonnal – ne szállítsatok fegyvereket Ukrajnába” feliratok voltak olvashatók. Többen békegalambbal díszített zászlót lengettek. A békeaktivisták három oldalról közelítettek a német főváros Tiergarten-parkjának központjában álló Győzelmi oszlop emlékműhöz.
A felvonulást záró gyűlésen felszólalt Sahra Wagenknecht, a Sahra Wagenknecht Szövetség (BSW) ellenzéki párt elnöke más baloldali politikusok mellett.
Wagenknecht egyebek között párbeszédet követelt Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnökkel az ukrajnai háború lezárásáról.
A politikus azzal vádolta a német kormányt, hogy vakon követi Washingtont. „Újból annak küszöbén állunk, hogy amerikai közepes hatótávolságú rakétákat telepítsenek Németországban, ez kész őrület” – mondta.
A német hatóságok közlése szerint nagyjából ezer rendőr biztosította a rendet, de jelentősebb incidensről nem számoltak be. A rendőrség mintegy 10 ezerre, míg a szervezők hozzávetőleg 30 ezerre becsülték a résztvevők számát.
Az egyik menet resztvevői között voltak olyanok is, akik szolidaritást követeltek a Gázai övezet lakóival. Transzparenseiket olyan feliratok voltak olvashatók, mint „Legyen vége a megszállási terrornak” és „A NATO háborút és népirtást űz – szolidaritás a Donbásszal és Gázával”.
A „Soha többé háborút” szövetség, amely magát békemozgalomként azonosítja, egyebek között haladéktalanul tárgyalásokat követel az ukrajnai és a gázai övezeti háború rendezésére és elutasítja amerikai közepes hatótávolságú rakéták németországi telepítését.

Az Izrael elleni iráni támadást éltették arabok százai Berlinben – írja a Magyar Nemzet német híradás alapján. A lap hozzátette, az Izrael-ellenes tüntetéseken a rakétacsapások hírét hangszórokon közvetítették, amelyet a tüntetők éljenzése és tapsvihara követett.
Az Izrael elleni iráni támadásról – amelyben Tel-Avivot is eltalálták – az IDF is közzétett felvételeket, a leírásban kiemelték:
a teheráni vezetés Jeruzsálem, az iszlám, a kereszténység és a zsidó vallás legszentebb városa ellen indított támadást. „Az iráni rezsim célpontja: mindenki” – tették hozzá.
A támadás hírére Berlinben arabok százai vonultak az utcákra, a Leopoldplatzon számos jelszó skandálása mellett az „intifádát” és az „ellenállást” éltették, valamint az „Allahu akbar” kiáltást vették szájukra a migránsok.
A Magyar Nemzet kiemelte: a tüntetők közül többen is fejkendőt és palesztin sálat viseltek, valamint libanoni zászlókat lengettek.
Hasonló jelenetek játszódtak le a Berlin Kreuzberg kerületében, a Kottbusser Tornál is, ahol az arabok szintén az utcán ünnepelték a támadást. A berlini rendőrség sem megerősíteni, sem cáfolni nem tudja az ünnepségről szóló híreket, miközben ennek a szöges ellentétét bemutató videók láttak napvilágot.
Hatalmas rakétatámadást indított kedden este Irán Izrael ellen – ahogy erről a hirado.hu is beszámolt –, amellyel Teherán a vele szövetséges síita milícia, a Hezbollah elleni izraeli szárazföldi katonai műveletet igyekezett megtorolni, aminek hatására csaknem tízmillió ember kényszerült óvóhelyeken kivárni, amíg véget ér a kiterjedtebb közel-keleti eszkaláció veszélyével fenyegető légitámadás.
