На ролику зображено, як жінка стоїть вздовж узбережжя перед тим, як у неї раптово потрапляє смуга світла. Турист, що проходив поруч, теж був уражений блискавкою, але зміг вижити.
За даними влади, Фройланіс померла від серцево-дихальної зупинки, що сталася через удар. У колумбійки лишилися син і донька, фотографіями яких вона регулярно ділилася на своїй сторінці у соцмережах.
Згідно з даними Центру з контролю та профілактики захворювань, шанси бути враженими блискавкою становлять один до мільйона, однак майже 90 відсотків жертв виживають.
У Колумбії, через географічні умови держави, чимало громадян гинуть у таких випадках. За інформацією Індустріального університету Сантандера, велика кількість гір і відкритих рівнин країни робить її схильною до електричних розрядів.
Університет заявив: „Це означає, що Колумбія є регіоном з найвищою активністю блискавок у світі, що збільшує кількість смертей і травм через це явище, особливо в сільській місцевості”.

У Полтавській області рятувальники під час пошукових робіт виявили тіло 16-річного підлітка, який зник напередодні на річці після удару блискавки по байдарці, в якій знаходився неповнолітній.
Про це повідомляє РБК-Україна з посиланням на прес-службу Державної служби з надзвичайних ситуацій України (ДСНС) та Міністерства внутрішніх справ України (МВС).
На жаль, хлопець не вижив після події – він потонув у річці.
„Подія сталася вчора на річці Дніпро в м. Горішні Плавні. Під час тренування із греблі в байдарку потрапила блискавка. Човен перекинувся, а хлопець зник у воді.”, – розповіли у службі.
Пошуково-рятувальні роботи тривали чотири години, розповіли правоохоронці.
„До пошуків залучались поліцейські, рятувальники, муніципальна варта та громадськість”, – повідомили в МВС.
У результаті було виявлено тіло зниклого, яке доставили на берег.
За даними поліції, інцидент стався вчора близько 17:20 у затоці „Барбара” у Горішніх Плавнях Полтавської області. Група із п’яти осіб на байдарці поверталася до берега через погіршення погодних умов.
Однак під час негоди блискавка поцілила у каное, де знаходилися хлопці. Внаслідок цього підліток 2007 року народження зник у воді.

Моторошна трагедія сталася 6 липня на горі Говерла.
Як повідомляє ДСНС, на горі Говерла на синьому маршруті, в результаті влучання блискавки постраждало троє людей, з них дівчинка орієнтовно 11 років.
Прибувши до місця події рятувальники виявили дівчинку та чоловіка вже без ознак життя. Жінку в шоковому стані було супроводжено до поста Заросляк іншими учасниками групи туристів і передано медикам.
Загиблих рятувальники транспортують до поста Заросляк.
Повітряний рух у белградському аеропорту Нікола Тесла був тимчасово припинений у вівторок через удар блискавки у злітно-посадкову смугу. Негода, яка вдень обрушилася на Сурчин, прийшла з великою кількістю опадів.
Внаслідок удару блискавки ніхто не постраждав, після 17:00 рейси відбувалися у звичайному режимі.
Дощ та погана погода останніх днів вкотре вказала на недоліки, які виявилися в новій частині аеропорту. Нещодавно здана в експлуатацію будівля промокає. На кадрах, опублікованих у соцмережах, видно, як вода ллється через дах, а пасажири тягнуть свої валізи по калюжах.

У місті Праяградж у 15-річного підлітка влучила блискавка, коли він разом із товаришем заліз на дах будинку. Товариша цього хлопця госпіталізували.
“Тільки вони поставили ноги на дах, як у них влучила блискавка і мій син помер”, – каже Мохаммад Аюб, батько хлопчика.
Представники уряду країни кажуть, що за останні п’ять днів блискавка вбила 39 людей, тому влада зараз дає поради своїм громадянам як захистити себе під час шторму і попереджає їх про небезпеку.
Удари блискавки є поширеним явищем в Індії під час сезону мусонів із червня до вересня.
За словами місцевих чиновників, кількість ударів блискавки в країні зросла через вирубку лісів та зміну клімату. Підвищення температури на 1 градус Цельсія збільшує кількість блискавок у 12 разів.

1 липня, коли Едвард Велен їхав по автомагістралі I-75, блискавка вдарила в його фургон. Дружина Мішель, котра сиділа позаду, знімала грозу і випадково зафіксувала інцидент на відео.
«Коли в нас влучила блискавка, у машині почувся легкий гуркіт, а потім моя старша дочка, яка сиділа поруч, з переляку стрибнула мені на коліна і закричала. Після удару блискавки ми були розгублені, навіть голова розболілася. І електроніка в моїй машині відмовила», – цитує чоловіка TODAY Show.
