Emberi jogi és környezetvédelmi aktivisták blokád alá vonták hétfőn a norvég energiaügyi minisztérium épületét, tiltakozásul a számi (lapp) őslakos kisebbség lakta területen épült szélturbinák ellen.
A több tucat tiltakozó – köztük Greta Thunberg svéd klímaaktivista – azért torlaszolta el az épület főbejáratát, mert a skandináv ország középső részén létesített két szélerőműpark jelenleg is üzemel, noha a norvég legfelsőbb bíróság 2021-ben hozott döntése szerint a turbinák működése sérti az ősi rénszarvaspásztor életmódjukhoz ragaszkodó számik nemzetközi egyezményekben foglalt kisebbségi jogait.
A számik a turbinák leszerelését követelik, mivel állításuk szerint a hatalmas szélerőművek látványa és hangja megijeszti állataikat, és megzavarja az ősi hagyományok gyakorlását.
A norvég kormány közölte, hogy a szélerőműparkok sorsa a legfelsőbb bírósági döntés ellenére is bonyolult jogi és politikai dilemmát jelent, ugyanakkor reményét fejezte ki, hogy az ügyben kompromisszum születik.

A Csodatevő Szent Miklós orosz ortodox templomhoz szervezték a demonstrációt, mivel ott jelent meg az orosz nagykövet és Antonyij (Szevrjuk) volokalamszki metropolita, a moszkvai patriarkátus külső egyházi kapcsolataiért felelős osztályvezetője – közölte az MTI a Novinite helyi hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
A tömeg az orosz egyházi vezető látogatása ellen tiltakozott, ezért vette blokád alá a Szófia központjában lévő orosz templomot.
A tüntetők oroszellenes jelszavakat skandáltak. Az épület bejáratánál rendőrök álltak. A tiltakozók egy ideig akadályozták a diplomata autójának mozgását a templomnál, ahol ünnepi istentiszteletet tartottak abból az alkalomból, hogy a szentély 70 éve került a moszkvai patriarkátus fennhatósága alá. Az eseményen jelen volt Rumen Petkov, a Bolgár Újjászületés Alternatívája párt vezetője.
Eleonora Mitrofanova szófiai orosz nagykövet az Oroszország–24 tévécsatornának azt mondta, hogy a tüntetők megpróbálták megzavarni a liturgiát, de semmi baj nem történt. A diplomatának sikerült autóján távozni a helyszínről.
November 22-én Rumen Radev bolgár elnök kijelentette, hogy az ukrajnai konfliktust diplomáciai úton kell megoldani. Véleménye szerint fel kell mérni a konfliktus Bulgária gazdaságára és a régióra gyakorolt pusztító hatásának mértékét.
November 3-án a bolgár parlament jóváhagyta az Ukrajnának szánt fegyverszállításokat. A törvényhozásban 175 képviselő szavazott a fegyverszállítás mellett, míg 49-en ellene voksoltak. A parlament követelte, hogy a bolgár kormány tegyen javaslatot Bulgária részvételére Ukrajna újjáépítésében, és az ország vezetése támogassa Ukrajna Oroszország elleni perét az Emberi Jogok Európai Bíróságán.

Július 31-én Észak-Koszovó szerb lakossága utakat zárt el szerbiai határátkelőhelyek közelében, így tiltakozva a a fővárosi, azaz pristinai vezetés azon döntése ellen, amely szerint éjféltől bevezetik az igazolványokra és a rendszámtáblákra vonatkozó rendeleteket – írja a Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
Késő este a koszovói rendőrség bejelentette, hogy a tüntetők által felállított blokádok miatt lezárta a jarinjei és brnjaki határátkelőket a járműforgalom elől. „Minden állampolgárt értesítünk, hogy más határátkelőhelyeket használjon a forgalomhoz” – közölte a koszovói rendőrség.
A tüntetés mögött a koszovói kormány bejelentése áll, miszerint augusztus 1-jén a Szerbiából érkező utazóknak a Szerbia által kiállított okmányaikat a Pristina által kiállított új, három hónapig érvényes beutazási és kiutazási okmányokra kell cserélniük.
Emellett pedig augusztus 1-jén új rendelet lép életbe a rendszámtáblákról is. Koszovó északi részén élő szerb nemzetiségűek az 1999-es háború óta a szerb intézmények által kiadott rendszámtábkákat használják, amelyeken a koszovói városok rövidítései szerepelnek, például KM (Kosovska Mitrovica), PR (Prishtina) vagy UR (Urosevac). A koszovói kormány nem tekinti érvényesnek ezeket a rendszámokat, azonban négy szerb többségű északi településen mégis megtűri őket.
