Irán kivégezteti azt a kémet, aki elárulta az iráni Forradalmi Gárda al-Kudsz nevű elitegységét vezető Kászim Szulejmáni tartózkodási helyét az amerikai és az izraeli hírszerzésnek – közölte Golámhosszein Eszmáili iráni igazságügyi szóvivő kedden.



Halálra ítélték Mahmúd Muszávi-Madzsd iráni állampolgárt, aki információkkal látta el az amerikai Központi Hírszerző Ügynökséget (CIA) és a Moszad izraeli hírszerzést Kászim Szulejmáni hollétéről – mondta Eszmáili egy a televízióban is közvetített sajtótájékoztatón. Hozzátette: az ítéletet a legfelsőbb bíróság is megerősítette, és hamarosan végrehajtják, írja az MTI.



Madzsd az iráni hatóságok szerint jelentős összegeket kapott együttműködéséért a két titkosszolgálattól. Izrael és az Egyesült Államok az iráni rezsim legfőbb ellenségei.



Az Egyesült Államok január 3-án likvidálta Kászim Szulejmánit egy drónnal a bagdadi nemzetközi repülőtér közelében. A tábornok meggyilkolását Irán azzal torolta meg, hogy rakétatámadást intézett két iraki támaszpont ellen, ahol amerikai katonák is állomásoznak. A csapásban egyetlen amerikai katona sem halt meg, de többen traumás agysérülést szenvedtek.
