На Одещині з 24 лютого виявлено велику кількість загиблих дельфінів, можлива причина загибелі – використання гідролокаторів кораблями РФ.
Про це повідомила прес-служба Одеської обласної прокуратури.
„Встановлено, що з початку повномасштабного вторгнення РФ на пляжах Одещини виявлено велику кількість загиблих морських ссавців. Ймовірною причиною їх масової загибелі є використання суднами країни-агресора гідролокаторів (сонарів) на підводних та надводних човнах, що створюють потужні звуки, які негативно впливають на здоров’я тварин”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
За ініціативою прокуратури проведено огляди та розтини китоподібних – морських свиней і звичайних дельфінів (білобочок), знайдених мертвими на узбережжях.
Під час розтину тварин спеціалістами здійснено відбір проб органів та тканин для подальшого лабораторного дослідження патологій.
Відібрані зразки будуть направлені для проведення досліджень у Падуанському університеті (Італія) та для окремого дослідження структур внутрішнього вуха ссавців у Ганноверському університеті (Німеччина).
Також прокуратурою готуються запити про надання міжнародної правової допомоги до Республіки Болгарія, Турецької Республіки та Румунії щодо встановлення аналогічних випадків загибелі дельфінів.
У здійсненні розслідування сприяють представники Інституту зоології ім. І. І. Шмальгаузена, Науково-дослідної установи „Український науковий центр екології моря”, НПП „Тузловські лимани” та ветеринарні лікарі.
Кримінальне провадження відкрито за фактом масового знищення об’єктів тваринного світу (дельфінів видів азовка, афаліна та інш.) внаслідок збройної агресії РФ проти України (ст. 441 КК України – екоцид).

Японська влада підозрює, що той самий дельфін, який поранив відвідувачів пляжу, відповідальний за щонайменше шість інших подібних випадків.
Обидва останні випадки сталися на пляжі поблизу японського міста Фукуї. Згідно з повідомленнями місцевих ЗМІ, у четвер уранці на пляжі чоловік отримав поранення обох рук, а пізніше дельфін поранив ще одного чоловіка в ліву руку. Одного із них довелося доставити до лікарні.
На постраждалій частині узбережжя тварин намагаються тримати якнайдалі за допомогою ультразвукових маячків, а також використовують знаки, щоб звернути увагу купальників на небезпеку нападу дельфінів і закликають їх уникати тварин.
Як повідомляє ВВС, обидва інциденти сталися на пляжі Кошино, який є популярним місцем серед плавців та дельфінів.
Щоб запобігти подібним випадкам, на постраждалій ділянці узбережжя розмістили ультразвукові маяки, а також встановлюють знаки, які звертають увагу відпочиваючих на небезпеку, яка їх там підстерігає.
Поки незрозуміло, який вид дельфінів відповідальний за серію інцидентів на японському пляжі. За даними місцевих ЗМІ, дельфіни звикли до близькості людей на цій ділянці узбережжя і можуть підпливти навіть у особливо мілку воду, глибиною по коліна.

Щонайменше три тисячі дельфінів загинули у Чорному морі внаслідок вторгнення рф в Україну. Через звуки вибухів тварини „сліпнуть” і гинуть від голоду.
Про це повідомили у природному парку „Тузлівські лимани”.
„Потужні сонари та вибухи руйнують тонку навігаційну систему тварин і такі „сліпі” дельфіни помирають від голоду, не маючи можливості спіймати собі рибу, та через слабкість організму в них активуються інфекційні хвороби і вони також гинуть”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
Повідомлення про загибель дельфінів надходять також від людей з Болгарії та Румунії. Фахівці кажуть, що не мають змоги обстежити значні території узбережжя через військову заборону, тож кількість загиблих тварин може виявитися ще більшою.

У Тасманії викинулися на берег 470 круглоголових дельфінів, 108 з яких вдалося врятувати, повідомили в суботу учасники рятувальної операції.
Рятувальники вважають, що поблизу берега на західному узбережжі острова більше немає живих дельфінів. До вечора п’ятниці лише одного дельфіна винесло на берег із 20-ти, яким того дня допомогли повернутися у глибокі води, що є хорошим співвідношенням, повідомив морський біолог Кріс Карліон (Kris Carlyon).
Тим часом влада знизила кількість великих морських ссавців із 370 до 350, які загинули в результаті найстрашнішої екологічної катастрофи в Австралії.
Протягом тижня загалом близько 470 довгокрилих круглоголових дельфінів потрапили в пастку на прибережному мілководді біля західного узбережжя острова Тасманія. У понеділок близько 270 дельфінів були помічені в трьох точках у затоці Маккуорі, третина з яких загинула до початку порятунку. У середу вранці ще 200 дельфінів було помічено за 7-10 миль від першого місця.
Попередня наймасовіша загибель дельфінів сталася у 1996 році біля узбережжя Західної Австралії, де 320 круглоголових дельфінів потрапили в пастку в мілководних прибережних водах, звідки вони не змогли повернутися у відкрите море. У Тасманії в 1935 році викинулося 294 дельфіни.
Тим часом влада Австралії вже розпочала прибирання туш, що триватиме кілька днів, залежно від погодних умов. Фахівці намагаються поховати мертвих дельфінів у морі, перетягуючи туші в глибші води, використовуючи кораблі.
До суботи з широкого піщаного пляжу вдалося вилучити 15 трупів дельфінів. Мертві тварини, які все ще перебувають на березі, обгороджують ровами, щоб туші не атакували акули та інші хижаки.
Причина масової загибелі невідома, на думку експертів, це може бути пов’язано з тим, що ці тварини надзвичайно соціальні істоти. Між круглоголовими дельфінами існують дуже тісні родинні зв’язки, і тварини плавають разом зграями до 1000 осіб.
Із початку спостережень, які тривають із 1800-х років, кожен із п’яти випадків наймасовішої загибелі через викидання на берег у Тасманії був пов’язаний саме з круглоголовими дельфінами.
