До Роттердамської офтальмологічної лікарні в Нідерландах потрапило 20 людей через феєрверки на честь зустрічі Нового року.

Станом на 1 січня в Роттердамській офтальмологічній лікарні було зареєстровано 20 людей із травмами очей внаслідок феєрверків.
„Шестеро людей отримали серйозні поранення”, – говорить офтальмолог Т’єрд де Фабер.
За її словами більшість людей постраждали від декоративних феєрверків, які вони вважали більш безпечними. Проте один із постраждалих назавжди осліп на одне око, а ще шестеро мають незворотні травми.
„Люди вважають, що декоративні феєрверки безпечніші, але це не так”, – каже Де Фабер.
Вона пояснила, що травми отримали не лише люди, які запускали салюти, а й прості пересічні, адже за її словами тієї ночі здійнявся чималий вітер.
„Минулої ночі особливо зіграв вітер, який спричинив розлітання (піротехніки – ред.). Одного з пацієнтів було поранено, коли він був на відстані 25 метрів”, – додала лікар.

Попри неодноразові попередження правоохоронних органів, місцевий мешканець Києва знехтував забороною використання піротехнічних виробів під час дії воєнного стану. Тепер йому загрожує до п’яти років обмеження волі.
Близько опівночі до столичної поліції надійшло декілька повідомлень від громадян про те, що у Подільському районі невідомі запускають салюти. Відповідне відео із феєрверками поширилось також у багатьох телеграм-каналах. Правоохоронці зареєстрували звернення та негайно розпочали пошуки причетних осіб.
У результаті поліцейські встановили, що феєрверки запускались у житловому дворі на вулиці Костянтинівській. З місця події слідчі вилучили використану пускову установку. У ході проведення оперативно-розшукових заходів правоохоронці за силової підтримки бійців полку № 1 встановили ймовірного підозрюваного та провели у його квартирі невідкладний обшук.
Поліція Києва: затримано чоловіка, який у новорічну ніч запускав салюти на Подолі

Під час слідчих дій правоохоронці виявили та вилучили кришку від використаного феєрверку. 47-річного киянина затримано в порядку ст. 208 Кримінального процесуального кодексу України.
Поліцейські Подільського управління поліції розпочали кримінальне провадження за ст. 296 Кримінального кодексу України – хуліганство. Фігуранту загрожує обмеження волі на строк до п’яти років.
Вкотре наголошуємо: використання піротехніки заборонено без жодних виключень! Кожен факт такого порушення буде задокументовано, а винних – притягнуто до відповідальності.

Близько 10:30 у неділю в Оушн-Сіті, штат Меріленд, вибухнув вантаж автомобіля, який перевозив феєрверки.
Один із піротехнічних виробів спалахнув у той момент, коли співробітники компанії завантажували їх на платформу машини. Унаслідок інциденту один працівник зазнав легких травм, але відмовився від госпіталізації. Інформації про інших потерпілих не надходило.
За даними місцевої поліції, працівники дотримувалися всіх правил техніки безпеки, завдяки чому більше людей не постраждало.

14-річний хлопець отримав серйозні опіки під час будівництва конструкції з феєрверків у підвалі помешкання в Дуйсбурзі, повідомляє німецький портал Bild.
Хлопець експериментував з хімічними речовинами в підвалі будинку, щоб виготовити феєрверки, коли речовини відреагували і виникла пожежа, повідомили правоохоронці. Хлопця доставили до лікарні з важкими опіками та зламаною рукою.

За місцевим часом у суботу тисячі людей вийшли на вулиці кількох міст Перу, протестуючи проти усунення президента Мартіна Віскарри. Це був уже шостий день демонстрацій. Протестуючі заявляють, що політик був усунутий від влади недемократичним шляхом.
Суботня акція протесту розпочалася мирно, але коли ввечері група напала на поліцію камінням та феєрверками, військові застосували сльозогінний газ та гумові кулі.
За деякими повідомленнями, загинуло двоє, за іншими – щонайменше троє осіб, багато постраждалих.
Місцевий представник ООН заявив, що поліція застосовує непропорційну силу проти протестуючих.
Віскарра був усунений із посади перуанськими депутатами в понеділок, через два місяці після першої подібної спроби. До кінця його терміну, який спливає у липні 2021 року, обов’язки глави держави виконуватиме голова парламенту Мануель Меріно.
Хоча протестувальники також скандували гасла проти Меріно, він заявив, що люди вийшли на вулиці через невдоволення зростанням рівня безробіття.
Віскарру звинувачують в отриманні хабарів на суму близько 637 000 доларів у період із 2011 до 2014 року, коли він був губернатором округу Мокегуа, від двох компаній, які згодом виграли державні тендери. Однак інформаційне агентство AP зазначає, що Віскарра завоював симпатію перуанців, розкривши корупційні справи.
Віскарра відкидав усі ці звинувачення, закидуючи опозиції, що вона прагне підірвати стабільність у країні.
Багато людей підтримує Віскарру через його плани реформ та кроки у боротьбі з корупцією, але багато хто вважає, що він не належним чином протидіяв епідемії коронавірусу.
