Greta Thunberg klímaaktivistát kedden Londonban őrizetbe vette a rendőrség, miután a város központjában az olaj- és gázipari vállalatok elleni tüntetésen vett részt.
Greta Thunberget – aki világszerte a fiatal klímaaktivisták arcává vált, miután 2018-ban hetente tüntetéseket rendezett a svéd parlament előtt –, idén már Svédországban, Norvégiában és Németországban is őrizetbe vette a rendőrség, illetve eltávolította a tüntetésekről.

Thunberg a mayfairi Intercontinental Hotel előtt tiltakozott, ahol az Energy Intelligence Forum az olaj- és gázipar vezetőinek találkozóját tartotta. Ő és többtucatnyian mások egymásba karoltak, elzárva a bejáratokat. A rendőrség figyelmeztette a tüntetőket, mielőtt bevonult volna, hogy őrizetbe vegye őket. A hírek szerint húsz letartóztatást hajtottak végre. Thunberg korábban a tüntetésen azt mondta:
„A világ fuldoklik a fosszilis tüzelőanyagoktól. Világszerte emberek szenvednek és halnak meg az ezen iparágak által okozott klímaválság következményei miatt.”
A Greenpeace környezetvédelmi csoport szerint több száz tüntető vett részt a tiltakozásban, megakadályozva a küldöttek belépését a helyszínre. A szervezet szerint két aktivistája felmászott az épületre, és egy óriási transzparenst bontott ki a bejárat fölé, amelyen az állt: „Fizessenek a nagy olajcégek” – írja a Reuters. A lap információi szerint a Gunvor kereskedőház vezérigazgatója, Torbjörn Törnqvist és a Trafigura olajkereskedő cég vezetője, Ben Luckock lemaradt az eseményről az akció miatt.

Az aktivista és a Reclaim the Future csoport június 19-én a malmői kikötőben blokkolták olajszállító teherautók útját. Akkor is azért emeltek vádat ellenük, mert a rendőrség felszólítására sem távoztak a helyszínről. A július 24-i ítélethirdetés után néhány órával visszamentek a kikötőbe, a rendőrség pedig ismét elvitte őket.
A júniusi eset után a klímaaktivista pénzbírságot kapott. Most a júliusi ügyben emeltek vádat ellene, szeptember 27-re tűzték ki a tárgyalást. A vád szerint a demonstráció nem volt bejelentve, a tüntetők pedig akadályozták a forgalmat, és a rendőrök felszólítása ellenére sem voltak hajlandóak elhagyni a helyszínt.
Mivel ez már a második kihágása, súlyosabb büntetésre számíthat, a rendőri felszólításnak való ellenszegülés akár hat hónap szabadságvesztéssel is büntethető.

Thunberg abszurdnak nevezte azt, hogy azok fizetnek, akik a tudományért küzdenek. Az aktivista és a Reclaim the Future csoport június 19-én a malmői kikötőben blokkolták olajszállító teherautók útját. Azért emeltek vádat ellenük, mert a rendőrség felszólítására sem távoztak a helyszínről.
A hétfői ítélethirdetés után Thunberg és más aktivisták visszamentek a malmői kikötőbe, de a rendőrség ismét elvitte őket, mert akadályozták a forgalmat.
Thunberg korábban azt mondta a bíróságnak, hogy tettei indokoltak voltak. „Úgy vélem, hogy olyan vészhelyzetben vagyunk, amely életet, egészséget és vagyont fenyeget” – mondta. A bíróság arra kötelezte Thunberget, hogy fizessen 1500 svéd koronát (nagyjából 50 ezer forint), valamint további 1000 koronát (32 ezer forint) a svédországi bűncselekmények áldozatai számára létrehozott alapba. A bírságot az aktivista bejelentett jövedelmének arányában szabták ki.

Thunberg nem nyilatkozott a hírről. A tankerek blokádjakor azt mondta, nem akartak szemlélői lenni az eseménynek, ezért fizikailag próbálták elállni a tankerek útját. Hat napig tüntettek a kikötőben, több tüntető hajókra is felmászott.

A kerületi bíróság nemrég jóváhagyta Greta Thunberg és társai keresetét az állam ellen. A klímaaktivista több száz társával azt akarja elérni, hogy a hazája tegyen többet a klímaváltozás ellen – írja a V4NA.
Az aktivisták 2022 ősszel fordultak bírósághoz, hogy politikai követeléseiknek érvényt szerezzenek az őszi parlamenti választások után, amely során a szociáldemokraták elvesztették a hatalmat. Eredetileg 636 aktivista állt a csoportos kereset mögött, de csak kevesebb, mint felük jelezte időben, hogy részt kíván venni az ügyben.
A Mari Heidenborg igazságügyi kancellár által képviselt svéd kormánynak most három hónapja van arra, hogy válaszoljon a követeléseikre. A háromszáz aktivista ugyanis azt szeretné elérni, hogy a bíróság kényszerítse arra a kormányt, hogy hozzon olyan politikai döntéseket, amelyek enyhítik a szerintük jelenleg is zajló éghajlati válság hatásait.
Az aktivisták azonban nemcsak a fosszilis tüzelőanyagokat, például a szenet, a kőolajalapú tüzelőanyagokat és a földgázt akarják teljesen kizárni az energiamixből, hanem azt is követelik, hogy az összes emberi tevékenységből származó üvegházhatásúgáz-kibocsátást csökkentsék.
„Ezek a kibocsátási források lehetnek például a fosszilis tüzelőanyagok, a bioüzemanyagok elégetése, az ipari folyamatok, erdőgazdálkodás vagy mezőgazdaság. Nem számít, hogy az üvegházhatású gázok kibocsátása milyen forrásból származik” – áll a per leírásában.
Az állam ellen pert indító aktivisták személyenként csaknem 900 euró kártérítést követeltek a frusztrációjuk és tehetetlenségük érzése miatt. A per leírásából azonban kiderült, hogy ezzel az összeggel lehet csökkenteni a „fájdalmukat”.

Greta Thunberget őrizetbe vette a német rendőrség egy Észak-Rajna-Vesztfália tartományban tartott keddi tüntetésen. A rendőrség azt közölte, hogy a 20 éves svéd klímaaktivista egy olyan csoport tagja volt, akik a Garzweiler 2 külszíni lignitbánya szélénél ültek – írja a BBC.
„Greta Thunberg egy aktivistákból álló csoport tagja volt, akik a bánya széle felé siettek. Őt azonban ezután megállítottuk, és ezzel a csoporttal együtt kivittük a közvetlen veszélyzónából, hogy megállapítsuk a személyazonosságukat. (…) Nincs ok arra, hogy napokig fogva tartsák őket. Egy észak-rajna-vesztfáliai falut akarnak lerombolni, hogy a szénbánya teret nyerjen. A bánya által termelt lignit azonban a különböző szénfajták között is kifejezetten szennyezőnek számít.
A hatóságok szerint még mindig több mint egy tucat építményt kell megtisztítani az aktivistáktól a lerombolásra ítélt, észak-rajna-vesztfáliai Lützerathban, ahol már napok óta néznek egymással farkasszemet a rendőrök és a tiltakozók.
A tüntetők eltávolítása a bulldózerek megindítása előtt szombaton is folytatódott, miközben a hétvégére újabb demonstrálók érkeztek, hogy megakadályozzák a Garzweiler II nevet viselő barnakőszénbánya további terjeszkedését. Köztük van Greta Thunberg is, aki pénteken érkezett a helyszínre és elítélte a bányát üzemeltető RWE vállalattal kötött kompromisszumot.
Az egyezség értelmében a szén kivezetését előrébb hozták nyolc évvel, így arra már 2030-ban sor kerül, cserébe az RWE kiterjesztheti a bányát az elhagyott falu irányába.
Thunberg különösen az egyetlen német pártként mind a szövetségi, mind a tartományi szinten kormányon lévő zöldeket. Az aktivista szerint az olyan fosszilis tüzelőanyagok terén érdekelt vállalatokkal kötött alku, mint az RWE megmutatja, hol találhatóak a német zöldpárt prioritásai.
A zöldpárti gazdasági miniszter, Robert Habeck ugyanakkor védelmébe vette a döntést, mondván az orosz-ukrán háború árnyékában az energiabiztonság fenntartása érdekében szükség van a Lützerath alatt található szénre.

Tavaly októberben egyébként Thunberg egy interjúban arról beszélt, hogy az energiaválság hatására széntüzelésű erőműveket újraindítani rosszabb, mint a már egyébként is üzemelő atomerőműveket tovább működtetni. Németország még Angela Merkel kormányzása idején kezdte meg a nukleáris létesítmények bezárását, melyekből már csak három üzemel, azok is csak április közepéig, miután a zöldek azok további működését is ellenzik.
A rendőrség szerint a falu nagy részét sikerült megtisztítani a demonstrálóktól, ám mintegy 15 építmény még továbbra is a tiltakozók kezén van.
Ezek egy része ráadásul a föld alatt található. A ledózerolásra ítélt faluból az elmúlt napokban mintegy 470 embert távolítottak el a rendőrök, közülük 320-an önként távoztak. A szombati deonstrációra ugyanakkor több ezer embert várnak – írja a Deutsche Welle.
