A felelősséget a nemzetközi hackercsoport, az Anonymous tagjai vállalták magukra. Kijelentették, hogy „úgy döntöttek, végrehajtják a bírósági döntést”, mivel véleményük szerint, a légitársaság és vezetősége figyelmen kívül hagyja azt.
A GlobalX már korábban is keveredett botrányokba amiatt, hogy bírósági végzés ellenére migránsokat kitoloncolt az Egyesült Államokból. Például 2025 márciusában, a bírósági végzés ellenére, amely elrendelte az útvonal megváltoztatását, a cég repülőgépei egy csoport venezuelai migránst szállítottak El Salvadorba. Nagyszabású kibertámadás érte több holland önkormányzat és tartomány weboldalát, amelyek így több órára elérhetetlenné váltak – írta az NlTimes hírportál hétfőn.
A hírportál beszámolója szerint az oroszbarát NoName057 hackercsoport vállalta magára a támadást, amely jelentős fennakadásokat okozott, ugyanakkor a kulcsfontosságú infrastruktúrát nem érintette, és adatlopás sem történt – írja az MTI. A hackercsoport közölte, hogy a holland kormány Ukrajnának nyújtott támogatása miatt hajtották végre a támadást, amelyre oroszellenes lépésként tekintenek.
„Úgy döntöttünk, meglátogatjuk az oroszellenes Hollandiát, hogy emlékeztessük, hogyan végződnek a kijevi rezsim támogatását célzó kezdeményezések” – írták a közösségi médiában.
A támadás elosztott szolgáltatásmegtagadásos (DDoS) akció volt. Ilyen esetekben a szervereket elárasztják kérésekkel, túlterhelve azokat, így a valódi felhasználók nem tudják elérni az oldalt. Az ilyen típusú támadások általában nem adatszerzésre, hanem a szolgáltatás megbénítására irányulnak. Bár a legtöbb érintett weboldalt sikerült helyreállítani, néhány továbbra is elérhetetlen. A holland kormány dolgozik a probléma megoldásán.
Sebastiaan Quekel, Észak-Holland tartomány szóvivője megerősítette, hogy a támadás jól szervezett volt és komoly fennakadást okozott, de hangsúlyozta, hogy adatszivárgás nem történt.
A kiberakciót követően a szabaddemokrata párt digitális figyelmeztető lövésnek nevezte az esetet, és erősebb kibervédelmi intézkedések bevezetését szorgalmazta. Március utolsó hetében ugyanez a hackercsoport több belga kormányzati weboldalt is megtámadott. A NoName057 akkor a Telegram platformon közölte, hogy a támadás oka Belgium Ukrajnának szánt új, egymilliárd eurós segélycsomagja.

A DDoS-támadás során hatalmas mennyiségű forgalom érkezik a weboldalra, ami miatt az túlterhelődik, és elérhetetlenné válik. Az oroszbarát hacker csoport, a NoName57, támadást indított belga kormányzati weboldalak ellen. Erről a NOS számolt be hétfőn, március 24-én.
A jelentés szerint a támadások következtében elérhetetlenné váltak a MyGov.be és a Vallóniai Parlament weboldalai.
Ez nem az első alkalom, hogy a hacker csoport belga weboldalakat támadott meg. Októberben a belga kikötők és helyi hatóságok weboldalai is elérhetetlenné váltak egy DDoS-támadás következtében.
A Belga Kibervédelmi Központ nyilatkozata szerint a DDoS-támadás nem veszélyes, de túlterhelést és kényelmetlenséget okoz a felhasználók számára.

Kínai hackerek egy kibertámadás során dokumentumokat loptak el az amerikai pénzügyminisztériumtól – közölte a hivatal helyi idő szerint hétfőn késő este. Hozzátették, hogy jelentős mennyiségű adatról és dokumentumról van szó, azok jellegéről és érzékenységéről viszont nem beszéltek.
A támadás részleteiről mindössze annyit árultak el, hogy a hackerek egy szoftverszolgáltató programjának feltörése után jutottak be a rendszerbe, és annak segítéségével törtek fel egyes munkaállomásokat.
Az amerikai törvényhozóknak küldött levelében a pénzügyminisztérium azt írta, hogy „jelenleg nincsen arra utaló bizonyíték, hogy a hackerek továbbra is hozzáférnének a pénzügyminisztériumi információkhoz”. A minisztérium szóvivője hozzátette, hogy vizsgálatot indítottak a keletkezett veszteségek feltárása miatt, és hangsúlyozta, hogy a támadásért felelős szolgáltatást már lekapcsolták, és szerintük nincs arra utaló bizonyíték, hogy a hackerek továbbra is hozzáférnének a minisztérium rendszereihez vagy információihoz. A hivatal kiemelte, hogy az FBI, a CISA (a kiberbiztonsággal foglalkozó állami ügynökség) a magánszektorból érkező partnerekkel együttműködve vizsgálja a támadást.
Az amerikai igazságszolgáltatás nyomozati térképén jelenleg szerepel a Salt Typhoon néven jegyzett kibertámadások sora, melynek során pekingi tisztviselők hozzáférhettek egyelőre ismeretlen számú amerikai állampolgár üzeneteihez és telefonbeszélgetéseihez. A Fehér Ház egyik magas rangú tisztviselője szerint a támadás legalább kilenc amerikai távközlési vállalatot érintett.
Az amerikai hatóságok december 8-án értesültek a Salt Typhoon betöréseiről, ekkor a BeyondTrust szoftverszolgáltató jelezte nekik az incidenst. A BeyondTrust szerint a hackerek egy felhőalapú szolgáltatás feltörését követően távoli hozzáférést szereztek egyelőre nem tisztázott mennyiségű számítógépes munkaállomáshoz.

Ezúttal a Japan Airlines-t érte kibertámadás, ami késéseket generált az év egyik legforgalmasabb időszakában.
Csütörtökön jelentették be, hogy kibertámadás érte a Japan Airlines légitársaságot, ami késéseket okozott néhány belföldi és nemzetközi járatán. Mondhatni a lehető legrosszabbkor, mivel az ünnepek miatt az év ezen időszakban különösen sokan ülnek repülőre, választják a légi közlekedés lehetőségét.
A támadás reggel 7 óra 24 perckor kezdődött, ami a vállalat belső és külső rendszereit érintette. A Japan Airlines bejelentette, ideiglenesen leállították a rendszerhibákat okozó routert, majd felfüggesztették a csütörtökön induló járatok jegyértékesítését is.
A hét elején az American Airlines került komoly bajba, aminek következtében egy órára az összes járatot leállította, ami több ezer utazását zavarta meg szenteste. A Reuters azt írja, a hálózati hardver körül volt tapasztalható a műszaki hiba, az okozta a fennakadásokat.

Az Egyesült Államokban komoly jutalmat ajánlottak fel azoknak, akik információval szolgálnak az orosz katonai hírszerzés embereiről.
A holland katonai biztonsági szolgálat (MIVD) szerint Oroszország a katonai hírszerzés (GRU) kötelékében működő hackerek segítségével igyekszik megakadályozni, hogy a Nyugat katonai segítséget küldjön Ukrajnának, mégpedig úgy, hogy elsősorban kormányzati és kiemelten fontos infrastruktúrát támadnak.
Peter Reesink, az MVID vezetője elmondta, hogy bár Hollandiát egyelőre nem érte ilyen jellegű támadás, a hackerek igyekeznek megbénítani az Ukrajnának segítséget nyújtó országok logisztikai rendszerét, és Hollandia fontos tranzitország. Ruben Brekelmans védelmi miniszter pedig arra figyelmeztetett, hogy nem pusztán kormányok, de az Ukrajnának szánt katonai felszerelések előállítói és beszállítói is célponttá válhatnak. Nagyon fontosnak nevezte, hogy az országok közösen lépjenek fel a hackertevékenység ellen.
Mindeközben az Egyesült Államok csütörtökön újabb vádakat hozott nyilvánosságra az orosz katonai hírszerzés öt tagja ellen. E szerint a GRU tisztjei 26 NATO-tagállam – köztük az Egyesült Államok – számítógépes rendszere ellen intéztek támadást a WhisperGate nevű szoftverrel, és „mindezt azért tették, hogy aggodalmat keltsenek az ukrán állampolgárokban a kormányzati rendszerek és személyes adataik biztonságával kapcsolatban”.
„A GRU WhisperGate-kampánya, beleértve a kritikus ukrán infrastruktúra és a katonai értékkel nem rendelkező kormányzati rendszerek célba vételét, jellemző példája annak, hogy Oroszország az igazságtalan inváziója során milyen rémisztő módon semmibe veszi az ártatlan civileket” – fogalmazott Matthew Olsen főügyész-helyettes. „Az igazságügyi minisztérium partnereinkkel és szövetségeseinkkel egységesen kiáll az ukrán nép támogatása mellett Oroszország törvénytelen és igazságtalan inváziója nyomán” – nyomatékosította.
Az Egyesült Államok akár 10 millió dolláros jutalmat kész felajánlani a megvádolt személyekkel kapcsolatos információkért.
