Szombaton megtalálták a Kamcsatka-félszigeten lezuhant turistákat szállító helikopter roncsait. A helyi mentőszolgálat vasárnap közölte a RIA Novosztyi hírügynökséggel, hogy a balesetet az előzetes feltételezések szerint senki sem élte túl.
A helikopteren 19 utas és háromfős személyzet tartózkodott. A gép valószínűleg a kedvezőtlen időjárási körülmények és látási viszonyok miatt csapódott hegyoldalnak. A mentőegység moszkvai idő szerint vasárnap reggelig 17 holttestet talált meg, és folytatja a keresést.
A Mi-8-as helikopter roncsait 980 méteres magasságban találták meg, annak a helynek a közelében, ahonnan a személyzet utoljára kommunikált.
A gép szombaton felszállt a Vacskazec hegységben lévő leszállóhelyről, de nem érkezett meg a Jelizovói járásban lévő Nyikolajevka faluba.
Az orosz Nyomozó Bizottság (SZK) büntetőeljárást indított a légi közlekedés biztonsági szabályainak megsértése címén.

Lezuhant egy helikopter szerdán a nepáli főváros, Katmandu közelében, a fedélzeten tartózkodó négy utas és a pilóta is meghalt – közölték a helyi hatóságok.
A Nuvakot régióban történt baleset után egy helyi kormánytisztviselő azt közölte, hogy a hegyek közötti, erdős területre becsapódott helikopter roncsaiból a négy kínai állampolgárságú utasa és a nepáli pilóta holttestét is sikerült kiemelni.
A nepáli polgári légiközlekedési hatóság közleményében azt írta, hogy a helikopter a katmandui nemzetközi repülőtérről helyi idő szerint délután 2 óra előtt pár perccel szállt fel, és a nepáli Air Dynasty vállalat üzemeltetésében állt. Az Eurocopter AS350 típusú légijármű az északi Szjabrubesi kisvárosba tartott, de a felszállás után három perccel megszakadt vele a kapcsolat, és lezuhant.

Lezuhant egy helikopter az írországi Killucan település térségében, a fedélzeten tartózkodó két ember életét vesztette – közölték kedden a helyi hatóságok.
A baleset a fővárostól, Dublintól mintegy 70 kilométerre északnyugatra történt.
Az Irish Times című helyi lap szerint a helikopter mintegy 25 perce repülhetett, amikor lezuhant a hozzávetőleg 360 lakosú Killucan határában. Az RTE ír közszolgálati műsorszolgáltató által közzétett felvételen látható, hogy a helikopter egy disznóólra esett.
A rendőrség szerint a roncsból egy ír és egy kelet-európai férfi holttestét emelték ki.

Szóvivőjének az X közösségi oldalon közzétett tájékoztatása szerint William Ruto elnök az Elgeyo-Marakwet megyében történt szerencsétlenség miatt estére összehívta a nemzetbiztonsági tanácsot a fővárosban, Nairobiban. A baleset áldozatainak számáról és körülményeiről ugyanakkor nem adott tájékoztatást.
Isaac Mwaura kormányszóvivő – ugyancsak az X-en – szintén szűkszavú közleményben tudatta, hogy hamarosan bővebb információkkal szolgálnak a balesetről.
Kenyában legutóbb 2021 júniusában zuhant le egy katonai helikopter, amely leszállás közben a talajba csapódott Nairobi közelében. Akkor legkevesebb tíz katona vesztette életét.

A szerencsétlenségben megsérült egy autós is, akinek járműve összeütközött a lezuhant helikopterrel. A sofőrt a karambolban kitört ablaküvegek szilánkjai sebesítették meg.
José Luis Martínez-Almeida, a spanyol főváros polgármestere arról számolt be a sajtónak, hogy a légi jármű nem sokkal a baleset előtt szállt fel a madridi nemzetközi kiállítási- és vásárcsarnok (IFEMA) területéről, ahol az elmúlt napokban a European Rotors elnevezésű aviatikai vásár zajlott.

Idén januárban egy helikopter-balesetben meghalt Denisz Monasztirszki ukrán belügyminiszter és a minisztérium több vezető tisztviselője. A történtek miatt nemrég négy embert letartóztattak a hatóságok – írja a Sky News.
A portál szerint mind a négy embert azzal gyanúsítják, hogy megszegték a légi közlekedést biztosító szabályokat, és ezzel az érintettek halálát, valamint súlyos károkat okoztak.
