Litvániában az LTG Cargo munkatársai a határátkelőn leakasztották az Oroszországból érkező vonat egyik kocsiját, amelyre a Z betűt festettek.
Erről az LRT számolt be az LTG Cargo litván vasúttársaságra hivatkozva – tájékoztat a Jevropejszka pravda.
Mint elhangzott, hétfőn az LTG Cargo munkatársai felfigyeltek egy Z jelzésű vagonra, amely Litvánia területére érkezett.
Tekintettel arra, hogy ezt a megkülönböztető jelzést az orosz hadsereg használja, a kocsit azonnal leakasztották.
Tilos Litvánia területére beengedni azokat a kocsikat, amelyek nem felelnek meg a Litván Köztársaság közigazgatási kódexe előírásainak.
A katonai agresszió és az emberiség elleni háborús bűnök propagandájának tekintett Z szimbólum már 2022-től felkerült a nem megfelelő szimbólumok listájára.

Ismeretlen elkövetők vasárnap és hétfő hajnalban gyújtópalackokat dobáltak a vilniusi orosz nagykövetség területére – közölte hétfőn Ramunas Matonis, a helyi rendőrség szóvivője a sajtóval.
Elmondta, hogy az incidenseket a térfigyelő kamerák, valamint a követség épületének közelében folyamatosan szolgálatot teljesítő rendőrök rögzítették.
A szóvivő szerint senki sem sérült meg, az épület falán tűz és füst nyomai látszottak. Az ügyben vizsgálat indult – tette hozzá.

A Litvániai Lengyelek Szövetsége szombaton felvonulást szervezett Vilniusban, amelyen mintegy ezren vettek részt, kifejezve elégedetlenségüket a nemzeti kisebbségek iskoláinak helyzetével kapcsolatban, számolt be a Jevropejszka Pravda az LRT-re hivatkozva.
A felvonulás a Szejm épülete mellett, a Függetlenség terén kezdődött, és a Simonas Daukantas téren, az elnöki palota közelében ért véget, ahol a tüntetés zajlott. A szervezők kijelentették, hogy Litvániában fokozatosan „a nemzeti kisebbségek iskoláinak radikális reformját” hajtják végre. A Lengyelek Szövetsége bírálta az Oktatási, Tudományos és Sportminisztérium azon javaslatát, hogy fokozatosan növeljék a litván nyelvórák számát és a litván nyelv használatát a nemzeti kisebbségek iskoláiban.
Ezeket a javaslatokat olyan változtatásoknak nevezték, amelyek „az iskolai tanács döntése alapján a nemzeti kisebbségek eddig kötelező nyelvhasználatát nem kötelezővé tehetik”.
„Jelenleg a közösségi hálókon vita folyik a nemzeti kisebbségek iskoláinak jövőjéről. A legrosszabb az a bizonytalanság, amellyel ezekben az iskolákban szembesülnek a diákok, szüleik és tanáraik. Féltik a saját és az iskoláik jövőjét, és az új tanév egyáltalán nem kelt optimizmust” – jelentette ki a szervezet. A felvonulás résztvevői zászlókat és plakátokat vittek magukkal, amelyek a kormányt kritizálták a nemzeti kisebbségek iskoláinak helyzete miatt. A tömegben látható volt a Litvániai Lengyelek Választási Akciója – Keresztény Családok Szövetsége politikai párt zászlóit. Ennek a pártnak a tagjai is részt vettek az akcióban, többek között Valdemar Tomashevski elnök. Gintautas Jakštas oktatási, tudományos és sportminiszter a BNS kiadványnak elmondta, a hasonló akciókkal „a politikusok egyszerűen szorongást terjesztenek és manipulálnak, saját céljaikat követik”.
„Nem szándékozzuk bezárni a nemzeti közösségek nyelvén oktató iskolákat, és az oktatás feltételei sem fognak romlani. Nem született olyan döntés, amely ronthatná azon iskolák helyzetét, ahol a nemzeti közösségek nyelvén folyik az oktatás. Jelenleg viták folynak arról, hogy többet kellene tanítani litván nyelven, különösen az óvodai és alapfokú oktatásban. Ezt azonban nem tervezik az anyanyelvi oktatás rovására tenni” – mondta a miniszter a tiltakozás előestéjén.
Az „Ukrán Ház” civil szervezet elhatárolódott a lengyel kisebbség akciójától. Elmondása szerint a tüntetés szervezői egyetlen ukrán közösséggel sem hangolták össze a felszólalásokat, bár kiemelték a Litvániában élő ukrán menekültek gyermekeinek oktatási problémáit.

Kalapáccsal támadtak rá Leonyid Voklovra, a néhai Alekszej Navalnij vezető politikai stratégájára a litván fővárosban, Vilniusban kedden – közölte szerdán Navalnij volt szóvivője, Kira Jarmis.
„Volkovot a háza előtt támadták meg. Valaki betörte kocsijának ablakát, majd könnygázt fújt a szemébe, ezután a kalapáccsal kezdte ütlegelni Leonyidot” – írta Jarmis az X-en, melyhez képeket is mellékelt, amelyeken Volkov homloksérüléssel és vérző lábbal látható, a háttérben a megrongált autóval.
A litván külügyminiszter, Gabrielius Landsbergis, megdöbbentőnek nevezte az esetet. „Az elkövetőknek felelniük kell bűneikért” – írta az X-en.
A litván rendőrség az áldozatot meg nem nevezve közölte, hogy bejelentést kapott arról, hogy egy férfit megtámadtak a háza előtt. A rendőrök nyomozást indítottak, és elkerítették a Volkov házához közeli fenyőerdőt, amely Vilnius északi külvárosi részén található, majd kutyákkal átfésülték a terepet.
Navalnij politikai csoportjának, a Korrupcióellenes Küzdelem Alapítványa (FBK) tagjainak nagy része az Európai Unió területén, a többi közt Litvániában tartózkodik, miután elmenekültek Oroszországból.

A főváros, Vilnius központjába helyi sajtójelentések szerint több mint ezer traktor és más mezőgazdasági nehézgép érkezett az ország különböző pontjairól.

A Litvániát és Lettországot összekötő gázvezetéken robbanás történt péntek délután. Kiderült, mi okozta a balesetet.
A Litvánia északi részén, Pasvalys városa közelében pénteken történt gázvezeték-robbanást nagy valószínűséggel műszaki probléma okozta – közölte szombaton a litván gázszolgáltató.
Az első vizsgálat azt mutatja, hogy valószínűleg egy hibás hegesztési varrat miatt történt a robbanás – mondta Nemunas Biknius, az Amber Grid gázszolgáltató vállalat ügyvezető igazgatója a BNS balti hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva. Közlése szerint a gázvezeték több mint 40 éve készült, és rendszeresen karbantartották.
A robbanás nyomán tűz keletkezett a vezetéken, amely a fő összeköttetés Litvánia és Lettország között. A közösségi hálózatokra feltett fotók és videók tanúsága szerint hatalmas lángok csaptak fel, amelyek a litván rádió jelentése szerint az 50 métert is elérték, és több kilométeres távolságból is láthatók voltak.
A balesetnek litván médiajelentések szerint nem volt sérültje, de egy közeli falu lakóit elővigyázatosságból néhány órára kiköltöztették.
Az Amber Grid adatai szerint a sérült vezetéken átmenetileg leállt a gázszállítás Észak-Litvánia és Lettország felé is.
A detonáció nem okozott kárt a sérült gázvezetékkel párhuzamosan futó másik vezetékben, amely szintén Észak-Litvániába és Lettországba szállít gázt.
Raimonds Cudars lett energiaügyi miniszter a rádióban azt mondta, hogy eddig nem volt gond a lettországi gázszolgáltatással.
A litván szolgáltató szerint a javítási munkálatok egy-két hetet fognak igénybe venni.

„A robbanást követően 50 méteres lángoszlop emelkedett a magasba. Az előzetes jelentések szerint nincsenek áldozatok vagy sérültek” – mondta Povilas Balciunas, a járási közigazgatás vezetője az LRT litván közmédiában.
A helyi hatóságok evakuálják a gázvezetéktől mintegy fél kilométerre fekvő Valakeliai település lakóit. „Buszokat küldtek. Két iskolát készítettek elő az emberek fogadására” – mondta az igazgató. Elmondása szerint nincs pánik, és a helyzetet ellenőrzés alatt tartják. Valakeliai falu, ahol körülbelül 250 ember él, 4 kilométerre van a járási központtól.
Ezen a szakaszon két párhuzamos gázvezeték szállítja a gázt Litvánia északi részébe és Lettországba. Csak az egyik vezeték sérült meg, a másik sértetlen maradt.
A litván Amber Grid gázszállító vállalat szóvivője közölte, hogy vizsgálják a robbanás okát.
Az LRT által közzétett videón látható volt, hogy tűz tombol a területen.
