Ismeretlen elkövető még május 1-jén belőtt a Poltava megyei Kremencsuk zsinagógájának az ablakán, amelynek az üvegét átlyukasztotta a lövedék, de visszatartották az információt az esetről, tartva attól, hogy pánik tör ki a helyi zsidó közösségben – adta hírül hétfőn a JewishNews ukrán zsidó hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a kremencsuki zsidó közösség az Ukrajnai Egyesült Zsidó Közösséggel együtt azért döntött a zsinagóga elleni támadásról szóló hír nyilvánosságra hozásáról, mert elavultság miatt szükségessé vált a zsinagóga térfigyelő kamerarendszerének a cseréje. Mivel a keremencsuki zsinagóga igen nagy, a helyi zsidó közösség nem tudja önerőből finanszírozni a térfigyelő rendszer korszerűsítését, ezért adakozásra kér mindenkit, akinek nem közömbös a zsinagóga sorsa. A pénzadományok fogadására a helyi zsidók speciális internetes oldalt nyitottak.
A zsinagógát ért incidens tényének nyilvánosságra hozatalával a kremencsuki zsidók sürgetni szeretnék az antiszemitizmus elleni 5109. sz. törvénytervezet elfogadását, amelynek hatályba lépése esetén szigorúbb felelősségre lehetne vonni a hasonló cselekmények elkövetőit. A jogszabálytervezet szövegét a Legfelső Tanács két szakbizottsága már jóváhagyta.

Hároméves gyerek lőtt rá a nyolc hónapos testvérére Texas fővárosában – jelentette a houstoni rendőrség.
A gyerek megtalálta a szülei pisztolyát, amely meg volt töltve – számoltak be a tragédiáról amerikai források. A tragédia idején négy felnőtt is volt a házban, de mégsem hívták a segélyhívót hanem azonnal a kórházba szállították a kisfiút, de már nem tudtak rajta segíteni.
A rendőrség a fegyvert a szülők autójában találta meg később.
A tragédia után arra hívták fel az emberek figyelmét, hogy mindig tartsák a gyerekektől elzárva a fegyvereket.
A hatóságok egyelőre még nem döntöttek arról, hogy vádat emelnek-e az ügyben.

Tragédia történt Kamjanszke városban. Két kamaszfiú ellátogatott rokonaikhoz, hogy megetessék a kutyákat. Érkezésükkor felnőttek nem tartózkodtak a ház területén. Az egyik fiú meglátott egy puskát a házban, s úgy döntött, megmutatja barátjának. A fiú meghúzta a ravaszt, a puska fel volt töltve. A golyó a fiatal társának fejét érte, aki azonnal szörnyethalt.
Az ügyben megkezdődött a nyomozás, a lövést leadó fiú sokkos állapotban van, pszichológusok foglalkoznak vele.
A fiú öt év szabadságvesztést is kaphat, azonban a fegyver tulajdonosára is várhat 3 év börtönbüntetés a puska felelőtlen tárolása miatt.

A cikk szerint az eset az északi sziget fővárosában, Auckland nyugati részén történt egy közúti rutinellenőrzés során.
Az elkövető elhajtott a helyszínről, menekülés közben elütött egy járókelőt is, aki könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett. A rendőrség lezárta a könyéket.
A BBC szerint a lövöldözést követően négy órával a rendőrség két embert letartóztatott az üggyel kapcsolatban.
Új-Zélandon a rendőrök általában nem viselnek fegyvert és ritkán forul elő, hogy egy rendőr szolgálatteljesítés közben meghal. Legutóbb 2009-ben öltek meg egy rendőrt Napier településen egy házkutatás során.

Fejbe lőttek egy seriffhelyettest a kaliforniai Los Angelestől északra egy kis település rendőrőrsén szerdán este. Közben a washingtoni belbiztonsági minisztérium a rendőrök elleni célzott támadások veszélyeire figyelmeztetett.
A Los Angelestől csaknem 300 kilométernyire északra fekvő Paso Robles városkában a megyei seriffhelyettest lőtték fejbe, nem halt meg, de súlyos, életveszélyes állapotban szállították kórházba. A támadó elmenekült, a helyi rendőrség nyilvánosságra hozta a biztonsági kamerák felvételeit, és a lakosság segítségét kérte a tettes megtalálásához.
A rendőrség feltételezése szerint a fegyveres kifejezetten rendőrökre vadászott. „Úgy gondoljuk, hogy az elkövető ezt előre eltervezte, kifejezetten azt akarta, hogy a rendőrök kijöjjenek az őrsről, és akkor támadjon rájuk”- nyilatkozta újságíróknak Ian Parkinson seriff.
A nyomozás most kiterjed arra is, hogy vajon van-e összefüggés a szerdai gyilkossági kísérlet és a pár nappal ezelőtt elkövetett két korábbi halálos merénylet között. A hétvégén ugyanis két rendőrt már agyonlőttek.
Szerdán nyilvánosságra került a washingtoni belbiztonsági minisztérium egyik nem titkosított dokumentuma, amely arra hívta fel a figyelmet, hogy rendőrtisztek személyes adatai szivárognak ki az interneten országszerte. Sok rendőr, köztük magas rangú rendőrtiszt maga osztja meg a közösségi platformokon az adatait, köztük a lakcímét vagy a telefonszámát is.
A belbiztonsági tárca arra figyelmeztetett, hogy ez ahhoz a szakmai zsargonban „kipécézésnek” nevezett gyakorlathoz vezethet, amelynek során
„erőszakos és szélsőséges elemek” célzott támadásokat intézhetnek rendőrök ellen, vagy megakadályozhatják a rendőröket feladataik ellátásában. „Legalább egy rendőrfőnököt már célba vettek, mert feltételezték róla, hogy támogatja a könnygáz bevetését a tüntetők oszlatásához” – olvasható a tárca dokumentumában.
Rendőrségi vezetők és rendőrök az elmúlt napokban többször is nyilvánosan hangoztatták, hogy az az érzésük, a rendőrségi reformokat sürgető törvényhozók magukra hagyják őket. „Tessék befejezni azt, hogy úgy kezelnek bennünket, mintha állatok volnánk, és tessék némi tiszteletet is tanúsítani irántunk! Becsmérelnek bennünket, és ez visszataszító” – mondta Mike O’Meara, New York állam rendőrszakszervezetének tisztségviselője az állam törvényhozóinak, amikor azok arról döntöttek, hogy hatálytalanítják azt a törvényt, amely biztosította a rendőri jegyzőkönyvek titkosságát.
Az Egyesült Államokban a radikális baloldal által felhergelt tüntetők napok óta randalíroznak: gyújtogatnak és fosztogatnak.

Az incidens – amelyről a Der Spiegel című hetilap számolt be először – kedd este történt az Évrosz határfolyónál. A lövés akkor dördült el, amikor a görög oldalon egy görög–német Frontex-járőr és a görög határrendészet egyik járőre teljesített szolgálatot.
A német tárca szerint a bevetésen volt kollégák közül senki sem sérült meg. „A történtek pontos körülményeit még vizsgálják” – közölte a minisztérium. A varsói központú uniós szervezet egyik szóvivője hozzátette, hogy a görög hatóságok is vizsgálatot indítottak az ügyben.
Ankara február 28-án jelentette be, hogy a török hatóságok már nem tartóztatják fel azokat a migránsokat, akik Törökország területéről az Európai Unióba kívánnak menni. Görögország a lépésre válaszul megerősítette keleti határai védelmét, aminek következtében több mint tízezer migráns torlódott fel a két ország szárazföldi határa mentén.
Ankara azzal érvelt, hogy az EU nem teljesítette ígéretét, uniós politikusok viszont a migránsok politikai célra történő felhasználásával vádolták Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnököt.
Görögországban jelenleg mintegy százezer menedékkérő tartózkodik, közülük 36 ezren az égei-tengeri szigeteken létesített – eredetileg 6000 férőhelyes – menekülttáborokban vannak elszállásolva.

Csütörtökön reggel 6 óra körül a határőrség terebesfejérpataki (Gyilove) részlegének járőrei az államhatár irányában mozgó személyeket észleltek – közölte a Munkácsi Határőrosztag sajtószolgálata.
A szabálysértők, akik fekete polietilénbe csomagolt dobozokat vittek a vállukon, a határőrök felszólítását még a figyelmeztető lövések után is figyelmen kívül hagyták. Ehelyett eldobálták a csomagjaikat és menekülni kezdtek. A terepszemle során a határőrök 1400 csomag fehéroroszországi (Bilorusz) zárjeggyel ellátott cigarettát találtak.
Az ukrán Btk. 204. cikkelyébe ütköző bűntény anyagait megküldték az Állami Fiskális Szolgálat és a Nemzeti Rendőrség kárpátaljai főosztályának.A dohánytermékeket a határőrsre szállították, majd később átadják a fiskális szolgálat munkatársainak.

Egy esetben költségvetési csalás elkövetésének gyanúja miatt feljelentést tettek.
