Június 20-án, csütörtökön a tűzoltószolgálathoz bejelentés érkezett egy kétszintes lakóház pincéjében keletkezett tűzről Huszton, a Marko Vovcsok utcában.
Pár perc alatt füst lepte el a ház első emeletét, így a lent tartózkodó lakók azonnal kimentek az udvarra. Két gyermek és édesanyjuk azonban a felső emeleten maradt elzárva az evakuálási útvonalaktól.
A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálat a megadott címre kiérkező tűzoltói létrával hoztak le három személyt az erkélyről, miközben a tüzet is oltották. A 7 éves kisfiút és 6 éves húgát a tűzoltók átadták a mentőknek, a gyerekeket égéstermék-mérgezés gyanújával kórházba szállították. Édesanyjuk megtagadta a kórházi kezelést.
A tüzet a tűzoltók 0 óra 39 percre megfékezték, végül 0 óra 42 perckor eloltották.

A szaraszói határőröket egy hosszúmezői lakos értesítette, hogy a folyóban egy láthatóan kimerült férfi segítségért kiáltozik. A határőrök csörlős kötéllel siettek a segítésére, és húzták ki a romániai oldalra. Az ukrán férfi menedékjogért folyamodott a román államhoz, ügyében illegális határátlépés miatt indult eljárás.
Az ukrajnai háború kitörése óta a máramarosi határrendészek hetente sietnek olyan ukrán férfiak segítségére, akik Romániába próbálnak szökni a sorozás elől. Egy korábbi jelentés szerint május közepéig 19 ukrán állampolgárt találtak holtan Romániában, 11-et a Tisza romániai oldalán, 8-at pedig a Máramarosi-havasokban.

Ritka amazonasi folyami delfineket mentettek Bolíviában. A két rózsaszínű állat egy sekély folyómederben rekedt, még áprilisban sodródhattak oda az áradások idején. Az Amazonas és az Orinoco folyók vízgyűjtőin őshonos delfinek gyakran úsznak sekélyebb vizekre élelemért, de egy apadás után könnyen csapdába eshetnek.
Az esős időjárás ellenére tucatjával figyelték egy bolíviai üdülőtelep lakói a ritka látványosságot: a folyóban úszkáló delfineket. A két rózsaszínű állatot könnyű volt szemmel követni, a sekély vízben ugyanis nehezen mozogtak, közel a víz felszínéhez.
A nőstény és nagyjából hét hónapos borja az áprilisi áradások idején úszott fel a máskor keskeny csatornán. Az apadás miatt pedig ott is rekedtek, ezért döntöttek úgy a helyi hatóságok, hogy befogják és elszállítják az amazonasi folyami delfineket.
„A Dél-Amerikában kialakított nemzetközi protokoll szerint jártunk el. Ezt szinte száz százalékban betartottuk. Csak annyiban tértünk el, hogy nem sok vérmintát vettünk a delfinektől, mert a természetnek, mondjuk úgy, hogy az életnek adtunk elsőbbséget. Így nem tettük ki a ceteket túl sok megpróbáltatásnak, a leghatékonyabb módon vittük el őket, időveszteség nélkül” – magyarázta egy bolíviai biológus.
A szakemberek mellett önkéntes környezetvédők és a helyi hatóságok is segédkeztek az állatok gyors átszállításában.
Ezek a folyami emlősök ugyanis legfeljebb egy órán át képesek a vízen kívül maradni légzőszervi nehézségek nélkül.
„Az állatok az elfogásuk óta nagyon jó egészségnek örvendenek. Ezért a közösségnek is köszönettel tartozunk, akik gondoskodtak ennek az őshonos fajnak az egyedeiről. A delfinek mostmár ott vannak, ahová tartoznak, és örülünk, hogy elhozhattuk őket erre a helyre” – nyilatkozta Cochabamba régió környezetvédelmi biztosa, miután az állatokat biztonságosan átszállították az északra fekvő Isiboro folyóhoz, ahol visszaengedték őket a vízbe.
Az amazonasi folyamidelfinek számos dél-amerikai országban megtalálhatók, egyes példányok akár a tengerparttól 3 ezer kilométerre is élhetnek, a szárazföld belsejében.

Beszámolók szerint a városrészben egyre emelkedik a vízszint, valószínűleg elszigetelődik a környék.
Az oroszországi Ural hegységben található Orszk város mintegy 600 lakóépülete került víz alá, miután a közelben átszakadt egy gát még pénteken.
Az Orenburgi terület második legnagyobb, 230 ezer lakosú település óvárosát öntötte el a víz. Fennakadások vannak az ivóvízellátással. Az óvárosból 711 embert evakuáltak, köztük 210 gyereket. A katasztrófa-elhárítás több mint 530 embere dolgozik a helyszínen. Az AP hírügynökség úgy tudja, hogy Orszkban több mint kétezer embernek kellett mindeddig elhagynia otthonát, a környékről további négyezer lakost evakuáltak.
Szombat reggeli beszámolók szerint a városrészben egyre emelkedik a vízszint, valószínűleg elszigetelődik a környék.
A város polgármestere azt mondta, hogy a közeli Ural folyó vízszintje mintegy 9,3 méter, néhány óra alatt csaknem 3 métert emelkedett, és már jelenleg is 2 méterrel meghaladja a kritikus szintet.
A gátszakadás miatt a térségben mintegy 2600 lakóépületet öntött el a víz, 47 hidat és 106 útszakaszt lezártak, 12 településen megszakadt az áramszolgáltatás. A terület székhelyén, Orenburgban is többszáz házat és telket öntött el a víz már pénteken. Az egész Orenburgi területen szükséghelyzetet rendeltek el.
Közben a szomszédos Kazahsztánt is árvíz sújtja. Kaszim-Zsomart Tokajev kazah elnök kijelentette, hogy a mostani lehet az elmúlt 80 év legpusztítóbb természeti katasztrófája az országban méretét és hatását tekintve.

A hirtelen lezúduló eső miatt bent rekedt öt ember a délnyugat-szlovéniai Krizna-barlang (Krizna jama) egyik járatában; a helyszínen barlangi mentők, búvárok és tűzoltók is vannak, de a csoport csak akkor hagyhatja el az üreget, ha a vízszint csökken – közölte vasárnap a helyi média a barlangi mentők közlései alapján.
A barlangban két vezető és három turista tartózkodik, akik szombaton délután nem értek vissza a megadott időpontban, ezért riasztották a mentőszolgálatokat. A Krizna-barlang csak csónakkal látogatható, mivel keresztülfolyik rajta a Bloscica folyó. Miután a heves esőzések miatt megemelkedett a vízszint, már nem tudtak visszatérni a bejárathoz.
Walter Zakrajsek, a barlangi mentőszolgálat vezetője az N1 szlovén hírcsatornának elmondta: az éjszaka folyamán a búvárok elérték a fogságba esett embereket, akik jól vannak. Élelmet és ivóvizet vittek számukra, a kommunikáció azonban nehézkes, mert a bejárattól 2400 méter távolságra vannak. A barlangon belül egy biztonságos helyre vonultak, amelyet az ilyen vészhelyzetekre alakítottak ki – mondta.
Egyelőre várják, hogy a barlangban apadjon a víz, de a legjobb esetben is csak hétfőn este sikerül kihozni őket – tette hozzá. Jelezte továbbá, hogy a mentőegységek vasárnap ismét lemerülnek a csoporthoz, hogy fűtött menedéket készítsenek számukra. Ez az akció nagy kihívást jelent, és több órát is igénybe vehet – mutatott rá.
A mentőakcióban jelenleg 35 barlangi mentő és 8 búvár vesz részt, munkájukat 11 tűzoltó polgári védelmi tag segíti. A Krizna-barlang a világ negyedik legnagyobb barlangrendszere, több mint 8 kilométer hosszú. Negyvenöt smaragdzöld színű föld alatti tavat rejt magában, és bár nyitott a turisták számára, csak vezetett túrákra van lehetőség benne.

Egy szolyvai lakos hívta a 101-es telefonszámot azzal az információval, hogy a Mennyei Század utcában egy kóbor kutya csatornaaknába esett.
A járókelő hallotta az ugatást, de mivel önerőből nem tudott segíteni a négylábún, kihívta a mentőket. A 12. számú állami tűzoltó- és mentőegység munkatársai érkeztek a helyszínre, hogy segítsenek az eben. Az állatot egy kötél segítségével emelték ki, a megmentett megugatta a jelenlévőket, majd továbbszaladt.

Az indiai hatóságok egy hete sikertelenül próbálkoznak kiszabadítani 41, a Himalájában beomlott autópálya-alagútban rekedt munkást. Most újabb öt tervvel álltak elő – számolt be az MTI.
Az ország északi részén található Uttarakhand államban november 12-én egy épülő autópálya-alagútban 41 férfi rekedt benn. A 4,5 kilométer hosszú vájat nagyjából 150 méteres szakasza omlott be. A munkások biztonságban vannak, egy csövön keresztül juttatnak el élelmiszert hozzájuk, emellett C-vitamint és gyógyszereket, köztük depresszió elleni tablettákat is kaptak. A baleset okát egyelőre nem tudni, de a hegyvidéki régióban rendszeresen fordulnak elő a földcsuszamlások, földrengések.
A mentőcsapatokban a kezdetekben vízszintesen fúrtak vájatot a törmeléken keresztül, de pénteken eltörött a fúrógép. A fúrást az új eszköz érkezéséig felfüggesztették. Bhaskar Hulbe, az alagútprojekt egyik ügyeletes tisztje arról beszélt, hogy még legalább négy-öt nap kell ahhoz, hogy „jó híreket” mondhassanak. Az indiai hatóságok öt új tervet vizsgálnak a Himalájában beomlott alagútban rekedt munkások kimentésére, miután egy hete sikertelenül próbálkoznak a művelettel.
Az ország északi részén lévő Uttarakhand államban november 12-én egy épülő autópálya-alagútban negyvenegy férfi rekedt benn. A hatóságok azt közölték, hogy a munkások biztonságban vannak, és egy csövön keresztül juttatnak el élelmiszert hozzájuk. A baleset okát egyelőre nem állapították meg, bár a hegyvidéki régió hajlamos a földcsuszamlásokra, földrengésekre és árvizekre.
A mentők vízszintesen fúrtak vájatot a törmeléken keresztül a 4,5 kilométeres alagútban rekedt munkások irányába, de pénteken eltört a fúrógép, és egy újat szállítottak a helyszínre.
A fúrást felfüggesztették, és még négy-öt napba telik, amíg „jó híreket kapunk” – mondta Bhaskar Hulbe, az alagútprojekt különleges ügyeletes tisztje.

Vasárnap reggel a hegyimentők kilenc holland nyaralót (12 és 28 év közötti testvéreket) mentettek ki az Eisenerz melletti Kaiserschildből (2086 méter) Ausztriában, miután eltévedtek az Alpokban található népszerű hegymászó terepen. A Die Presse tudósítása szerint a holland fiatalok csak utcai cipőt és hagyományos nyári ruházatot viseltek a megterhelő hegyi túrán, ráadásul nem vittek magukkal élelmet sem.
A fiatalok szombaton késő este a WhatsApp-on keresztül értesítették a szüleiket, hogy elakadtak a zord alpesi terepen, akik azonnal hívták a 911-et. A kimerült nyaralókat az Eisenerz és Radmer hegyi mentőszolgálatok, valamint a hochsteiermarki alpesi rendőrség sürgősségi szolgálatának munkatársai egy összetett, több órás éjszakai mentőakció keretében hozták le a hegyről, az akcióban senki nem sérült meg.
